Happy new year from Hyderabad in India everyone! The photo shows fireworks being lit from friends' house.

Elephant motif

Pinga found these cute elephant tablecloths at the craft fair. Shop person was nice when she asked if she could take a photo.

Today Pinga and Pingu went to a market with arts and crafts. This cute elephant they found among all the stalls.

Indian macdonalds

The menu at the indian macdonalds is definitely localized with both special meals and contents. Many are vegetarian and/or spicy.

Sari shop

This very bright and shiny shop is located in Hyderabad center. It sells nicely decorated saris. Note the huge chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Qutub Shahi Tombs

After Golkonda, they went to tumbs of Qutub Shahi sultans. Many of them are very big and beautifully decorated with carved stonework. There was a Turkish or Persian bathhouse too.

Pingu, Pinga and friends are at the fort a bit outside of Hyderabad. They were amazed to learn there was water pumping system and water pipes already existed in the seventeenth century.

Hot in Hyderabad

Pingu and Pinga went on some sightseeing today. It was quite hot at 32 degrees. On the way back the traffic was even more hectic. The photo captured the setting sun over the central lake in Hyderabad.

Hungry kya?

Pingu and Pinga arrived in Hyderabad yesterday. Since they were extremely hungry they ordered food as soon as they reached their friends house. Domino's pizza exist in India as well. Their slogan is 'hungry kya?' which means something like are you hungry.

Busy streets of Delhi

Pingu and Pinga escaped me again and went to India. They landed in Delhi first and spent one night there. The hotel was in a shopping area so the next day they took a walk in the area with busy streets.

Pinga was sick at home so we're resting together. Pinga captured me stretching.

Chocolate cake

Pinga baked melting chocolate cake. It was not as melting as last time but it was tasty.

Birthday!

It's my flatmates' friend's birthday. She and her boyfriend made this cute cake. I'm afraid of those candles. Keep them away from me!

There was almost no wind and sunny. Pingu and Pinga went for a walk witn their friend.

Gyros again

Pinga and Pingu had a friend over for gyros dinner and games. This time it was not home made tzatziki but it was tasty.

I hid under the covers last night. It was cosy but i was disturbed by paparazzi

Glögg and lussebullar

Now it is december and it is time to prepare for christmas. In sweden this is done by putting up decorations and eating and drinking seasonal foods. In the picture you can see Pinga and Pingu snack. I am in the background eating same old boring cat food.
