New year fireworks


Happy new year everyone! In Sweden the new year tradition is to hang out with friends and watch fireworks at midnight. Pingu and Pinga left me alone again!

Pingu and Pinga went for a walk even though it was cold. I am not allowed to go out anymore so I am quite jealous.

Luxury frying pan


Pingu and Pinga finally bought a new frying pan. The old one got worn out a while ago but they didn't get a new one because of the move. It's a Jamie Oliver series pan by Tefal. I sense an unhealthy brand affection!

Christmas tree


Pinga likes to capture Christmas trees. This was at Pingu's sister's friend's mother's place. It's nicely decorated with lights and Swedish flags.

The world's oldest shopping mall?


This is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele 2. Someone said it is one of the world's oldest shopping malls. It is located just next to Milan's cathedral.

The Milan cathedral is impressive and many tourists come to see it. There are also many pigeons that are not very scared of people.

On the way to Milan


Pingu and Pinga has now finished the 11 day cruise and this is what they saw on the way to Milan by bus. It is cold!

The cruise cabin


This is Pinga and Pingu's cruise cabin. It has no windows but that is not always a bad thing. Pinga's parents had a room with balcony and when the sea was bad they where scared by the noises and the water that hit their windows.

This is how big the cruise ship is. There are 15 floors!

Banana pineapple


Pingu and Pinga bought this unique Madeira fruit which is mix between a banana and a pineapple. It is called frutta deliciosa and has quite an interesting taste.

Lunch in Chivitaveccia


Pingu and Pinga had a nice seafood lunch in a small town called Chivitaveccia. The town is a port town to Rome.
