New year fireworks

Happy new year everyone! In Sweden the new year tradition is to hang out with friends and watch fireworks at midnight. Pingu and Pinga left me alone again!

Game and dessert

Pingu and Pinga are at their friend's place. They had tacos and now they are playing game.

Walk with Thatcher

Pingu and Pinga went for a walk even though it was cold. I am not allowed to go out anymore so I am quite jealous.

Luxury frying pan

Pingu and Pinga finally bought a new frying pan. The old one got worn out a while ago but they didn't get a new one because of the move. It's a Jamie Oliver series pan by Tefal. I sense an unhealthy brand affection!

My new favourite spot

Pingu knows that I like this chair and he put my blanket on it. It's very comfortable. Zzz...

Pepperkaka

Pinga did another baking project and made pepperkaka, cinammon ginger cake.

Frosty morning

Pinga took this photo on the way to work. It was minus 1C degrees and cold.

Christmas tree

Pinga likes to capture Christmas trees. This was at Pingu's sister's friend's mother's place. It's nicely decorated with lights and Swedish flags.

Christmas lunch

Pingu and Pinga were invited to Pingu's sister's fiend's mother's place for a nice Christmas lunch. Here's the photo of one of the desserts, apple cake with vanilla sauce.

Afternoon tea

Pingu had a big hot chocolate and Pingu's sister and Pinga had chai latte.

Happy cat wine

Pingu's sister found wine that is in a cute cat bottle. It's from Germany.

Pinga bought these boxes to organize her clothes.

Ikea

Pingu and Pinga went to Ikea this morning. They've bought a bed and small things.

Pingu Santa Claus

Pingu got a phone call from his friend and became a Santa Claus on Christmas eve. Pingu did a good job. Look!

It's special Japanese food for Christmas this year. Pinga made sushi. Pinga was thinking of her Italian friend that likes sushi a lot!

Fish wagon

Pingu and Pinga were buying fish for sushi. It was not as crazy as the meat shop.

There were so many people in line for a meat shop at Salhalen in Lund.

There is a big Christmas tree at Stortorget in Lund and shops have Christmas lighting.

Pinga's friend gave Pinga these socks. Pingu noticed that they make Puma shape. Cute!

Being lazy

Here I am again stretching out on the bed. I feel a bit better in the new apartment even though I miss being outside.

There are still many boxes and I can choose many locations to lie down.

Watching Pinga work

Pinga was at home working to keep an eye on me but i was keeping an eye on her too. This box was just next to the desk and i had a good view!

New home?

I came back from a cat hotel to this unknown place. Pingu and Pinga said it's our new home. Hmm, I need to check things around!

Start moving

Pingu and Pinga has started moving. They just moved stuff into the fridge and freezer.

Boxes, not presents

It's soon Christmas and people are busy shopping presents but Pingu and Pinga were busy packing. To avoid my panic, Pingu took me to a cat hotel this morning.

White world

It's tough to tell but it was taken 8am this morning. There was 10cm snow! Pinga had tough time bicycling to work because it's snowing and there was snow on the road.

Icy morning

Pinga was not so happy as it was -0.7 C degrees and everything was icy including her bike saddle.

Christmas tree

Pingu and Pinga were invited to their friends' place for glögg. They had christmas decorations and this nice tree.

Christmas piggy

Pinga found this pig at her friends' home. It's not only a Christmas decoration. Their baby son rides this piggy from time to time!

In the box

There are so many boxes in our house now. I found an empty box and went in. Pingu came and played with me. I love boxes and it's fun too!

Christmas presents!

Pingu and Pinga got a big bag of christmas gifts from friends in Japan. Very nice friends don't you think?

Snowy Lund

It's snowing now in Lund. This is Pingu walking in the snow.

Julmarknad

Julmarknad means Christmas market in Swedish. Pinga was there with her friend this afternoon. There were many stands and many people.

This was when Pingu and Pinga came back. Now it's warmer and snow has melted away.

Happy birthday Pingu!

It is Pingu's birthday and Pinga cooked a special birthday dinner, gyuudon. The gyuudon is a present from Pinga's sister and husband in Japan.

Back in cold Sweden again

Pingu and Pinga have landed at Copenhagen airport and are now on the train to Lund. Come and get me!

Christmas chocolates

Pinga found cute christmas themed wrapped chocolates in Milan.

The world's oldest shopping mall?

This is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele 2. Someone said it is one of the world's oldest shopping malls. It is located just next to Milan's cathedral.

The Milan cathedral is impressive and many tourists come to see it. There are also many pigeons that are not very scared of people.

On the way to Milan

Pingu and Pinga has now finished the 11 day cruise and this is what they saw on the way to Milan by bus. It is cold!

The cruise cabin

This is Pinga and Pingu's cruise cabin. It has no windows but that is not always a bad thing. Pinga's parents had a room with balcony and when the sea was bad they where scared by the noises and the water that hit their windows.

Banana pineapple

Pingu and Pinga bought this unique Madeira fruit which is mix between a banana and a pineapple. It is called frutta deliciosa and has quite an interesting taste.

Lunch in Chivitaveccia

Pingu and Pinga had a nice seafood lunch in a small town called Chivitaveccia. The town is a port town to Rome.

Pinga and Pinga mother were exercising on the 13th floor. It's located at the bow of the ship and has a great view.
