Pork?!


It's pork not Puma! Okinawa pork is famous and many souvenirs are with pork, shisa (a kind of mythical lion) or goya (Okinawa bitter melon).

They were at the hotel lobby. One of them said "hello" repeating after Pinga.

Glassboat cruise


Pinga and Pingu went to a glassboat cruise. They could see so many fish coming very close to the boat.

Pinga found this cute tropical flower on the way to the bus station from Shuri castle.

Okinawa


Pingu and Pinga went to Okinawa today. It's much warmer than Tokyo. It's a they from their hotel.

Kanzan tree


Pingu and Pinga are at a park in Shinjuku. This tree looks very similar to sakura. It's in sakura group and called kanzan.

There were a turtle and many carp at the pond. Turtle looked as if it's hesitating to dive into the water.

Pinga found a cloth shop in Asakusa that sells colorful cloth for making kimono.

Meiji jingu


Pingu and Pinga are at the Meiji jingu shrine. This person was cleaning the road to the main building with a very long broom.

Numata park


Pingu and Pinga visited this park to look at sakura flowers. This tree is 400 years old.

Sakura carpet


Deja-vu was at the park together with Pinga and Pingu. Sakura has started to fall and that looked like a flower carpet.

Full bloom


It's sunny and Pinga and Pingu found a full bloom sakura spot today. You can see a snowy mountain in the background.

Pingu's father has arrived in Tokyo and they did cheers with sake.

In Tokyo, cherry blossoms are already gone and in Niigata, it's just a beginning. This is 30% blooming. It will be in full bloom next week.
