Pinga found these flowers in town and felt spring is coming close. Pinga's friend told her that it is edible like saffron flowers.
日本語ではなんと言う花なのだろうとピンガは調べたけれど、そのままカタカナでクロッカスでした。耐寒性の秋植球根植物。原産地は地中海沿岸から小アジアで、早春に咲く。晩秋に先、スパイスや薬として用いられるサフランに対し、観賞用のみに栽培されるため、春サフラン、花サフランなどと呼ばれるとのこと。

Easter sheep

Pinga found Easter sheep chocolate at a pastry shop in Munich.

Lederhosen

Pingu and Pinga saw some guys on the Munich subway wearing lederhosen. I wonder if they bought them at this shop.

Interesting lamp

Pingu and Pinga found this lamp made by plates and cutlers in the hallway in Munich city centre.

Munich church decorations

This decoration was found in the entrance to one church in the center of Munich. Death, to the right, looks kind of scary.

Beer is good for you!

Munich is filled with this kind of beer ad. Important contents of these ads are beer and blond girls.

Local bakery

Austrian bread is really tasty and the morning ski trip routine is to get fresh bread at the bakery.

Raclette

Pingu and Pinga made raclette together with their friend. They all ate a lot and got super full.

Green Easter bunny

Easter is approaching and many shops have Easter bunny decorated windows.

Rainy Munich

Pingu, Pinga and their friend are walking in the center of Munich. This is the town hall and a police car in front of it. The police cars in Germany has green color.

Bavarian brunch

Pingu and Pinga are in Munich now having brunch with their friend at Bachmaier Hofbräu.

Schnaps

Pingu and Pinga got invited for schnaps by the lady who owns the ski resort apartment. It is an Austrian tradition.

Snowman

While skiing, Pinga found this snowman on top of a cabin.

Kids ski school

Pinga found a penguin sign board for a kids ski school. The cabin behind is the ski school building.

Lunch

Pinga was very happy having gelmknödel again. Pingu had another Tyrolian dish which was a chopped pancake with apfelmus. Pingu liked it a lot.

Keltis

What kind of ski trip would it be without some gaming? Pingu and Pinga got introduced to this new game called keltis.

Yakult

After skiing Pingu, Pinga and their friend went to a supermarket. Pinga was surprised to find a japanese drink there.

Pinga took this at the top of Hohe Salve. It became sunny in the afternoon.

On the slopes again

It's warmer and sunnier than yesterday so the snow is heavier and makes it tougher to ski.

Apfelstrudel

The weather is warmer today so Pingu and Pinga needs some more energy. First stop apfelstrudel!

Pingu meets Cows

On the way back to the ski resort apartment, Pingu found cows. Cows were curious and all three of them were staring at Pingu.

Pingu is taking a break and enjoying the view. The sun came out in the afternoon.

Germknoedel

Pinga found a favourite ski food, germknoedel. It is a sweet dumpling with jam inside.

Lots of snow and the sun came out. Pingu is snowboarding while the other ones are skiing.

Dinner in Hopfgarten

Pingu and Pinga have arrived in the little town of Hopfgarten. They of course started out by eating some local food and drinking beer.

On the way to Austria

Pingu and Pinga landed at Munich airport and got picked by a friend. Now they are on the highway towards skiing in austria!

Playing with a plastic bag

Who could think it would be so much fun to play with a plastic bag.

Pinga and Pingu are packing again. I try to join by getting into the trunk.

Pinga went to check Marimekko glasses after work for her friend in Tokyo.

Waffle day

In Sweden, March 25 is waffle day. Pingu and Pinga had waffles at their friends' place. Can you guess which plate is Pinga's?

Entré Malmö

Entré Malmö is a large shopping mall that opened just a few days ago. Pingu and Pinga went there by bus which was a good idea since it was traffic chaos. Inside the mall was equally bad with lots of people. Even Pinga became tired shopping after a while.

Stretching

Pingu left the bed this morning which gave me a chance to take over his space and really stretch out on the bed. Nice!

Sunny!

It was very sunny and windy today. I was inside so I didn't care about windy part.

Sudden snow

Pinga was surprised when it suddenly started to snow around 4 pm. I am upset because the balcony is wet with snow and forces me to stay inside.

Bunny lamp

Pinga really liked this lamp her friends bought. It changes color from blue, purple, white, orange, pink and so on.

Nice dinner

Pingu and Pinga had duck dinner at their friends' place.

Slumber party

Pinga is now with all the girls at a slumber party at her friend's place.

Katsu curry

Pinga made one of the Pingu's favorite dishes. Katsu is pork cutlet in Japanese.

New speakers

Pingu went to pickup a new speaker kit today. The old speakers were big and black so Pinga thinks these are an improvement.

Pinga got this cute postcard from her Italian friend so she put it on her desk wall at work.
