Pingu had a very nice Sunday. It started with a visit to the local onsen (hot springs). Then a trip to Shinjuku. There he bought an interesting book called Tokyo Vice which he started reading while in the nice park called Shinjuku Gyoen. It was warm 12 degrees and sunny today and perfect for relaxing in the park.

Pinga's dad had his birthday a couple of days ago but Pingu brought Pinga-made cookies and some other gifts so there was a bit of a party. Pinga sister brought champagne and tasty chocolate cake. Luxury!
Shabu shabu dinner
Pingu was treated to a delicious shabu shabu dinner. Pinga's sister with husband also joined. It was lots of fun! Pingu actually stayed up until 11 and was not that sleepy since he slept very well on the flight.

Onaka filmjölk
Pinga went to a supermarket for a shopping and found this product with a Japanese name. "Onaka" means "stomach" in Japanese. It's a fil (sour milk in English and 発酵乳 in Japanese) with bifidobacterium (ビフィズス菌). Maybe the producer wants to say it's onaka friendly:)
It's 5pm now and very cold. Minus 10 C degrees!

There is heavy snowfall and wind today in most parts of Sweden. In Lund a lot of snow has fallen and you can hardly see roads or walkways. I don't want to go out.

On Sunday Pingu and Pinga relaxed and did a spa ritual which took almost three hours and included Japanese style hot spring and nice saunas. Before going home they had a three course meal at the hotel restaurant. A very nice stay and they would love to come back.
Back at the hotel
Pingu and Pinga came home by bus and then took a drink in the hotel bar which is at the center of the hotel.
Dinner at Grill del mundo

Enormous cinnamon bun!
Pingu and Pinga visited this café that is famous for their legendary cinnamon buns. Unbelievable size don't you think? Pingu couldn't finish all of it but he made a good try.

Pinga's big stomach
Hello in there! Pinga's stomach is getting bigger everyday and I wonder who is in there. Is it a boy or a girl?
Happy birthday Pinga!
Many congratulations Pinga on your special day! Pingu had been very quiet and seemed to not have anything prepared for today but that was not correct. Pingu and Pinga will go on a birthday surprise trip this weekend. Pinga will find out more when they get there. Exciting!

Monsters and Moomins
Pinga was out shopping for the baby. She found some cute Moomin plates and this cute glow-in-the-dark baby clothing. The print says it all: "Come to the dark side - we have cookies". Sweet!
New game: Pandemic
Pingu and Pinga visited their friends' newly opened game store in Lund. They decided to get a new game called Pandemic. It is cooperative so you are helping each other and not playing against each other. It is quite good and does not take too long time either.
Penguin party candy!
Pinga was out shopping when she came across these gummies. Penguins! Aren't they cute? They tasted pretty good.
Tasty but expensive bread
Pingu and Pinga went to town and walked around. They went into a new bakery that is very popular. It had a cheese and olive bread. It was really tasty but also extremely expensive. Next time they will probably buy their more normal bread type.
I love ice cream
Pingu and Pinga had some guest this weekend. They had ice cream for dessert and Pingu handed his plate to me after he was done. It is soooo good!

Pingu and Pinga had a visitor today. It was Leif with his curtain bus. He came to discuss curtains for three rooms. Pingu and Pinga decided to get them so he will be coming back in a couple of weeks.
Huh?

Crouching Thatcher Hidden Brandi
Pingu and Pinga visited my sister and played board games with her owner. My sister's name is Brandi and was hiding from the dogs, Thatcher and Thelma, on the window sill.

First semla 2010
Pingu bought Pinga a semla. It is a Swedish pastry with cream and almond paste in a bun. Pinga loves it! They are not really in season until February but they have started selling them early.

Brio Go
Pingu and Pinga has been looking for a good deal on the Brio Go baby car. They finally found it. It was a rebate at a local shop. They will later buy the cot for the baby when it is lying down. They tried to put me in but I panicked and almost ripped Pingu's shirt trying to get away.
Avatar 3D and a quiz winning
Pinga and Pingu just came home from watching Avatar in 3D at the cinemas. They said they liked it. Before the movie started there was a quiz question: "Who directed Slumdog millionaire?". Pingu answered first so he got the DVD. Nice!

Paparazzi Pingu
Pingu bought a fancy camera in Tokyo. Since then he has been taking a lot more pictures than normal. It is a bit irritating when I want to rest and he comes and sticks the camera in my face.
