Me and Momo-chan

As I wanted Pinga to pet me, I went very close to Momo-chan. To my relief, he didn't make a strange move as he was focused on drinking milk.

Japan vs Paraguay

Pinga was multi-tasking. 1) Hanging laundry, 2) Watching Momo-chan and 3) watching the soccer game.

Hiccup Momo-chan しゃっくりももちゃん

Momo-chan hiccups once or twice a day. He doesn't like it and seems a bit upset when it doesn't stop for a while.
ももちゃんは何故か毎日1回か2回しゃっくりをします。しゃっくりがなかなか止まらないとももちゃんはちょっと頭に来てしまうようです。

Okonomiyaki

Pinga found a good spring cabbage and decided to make Okonomiyaki. It's a shame that Pingu is not here as Pinga thought it turned out to be quite tasty. It has bacon, mochi (Japanese rice cake), and cheese in it.

Dinner on the balcony

It was very nice weather today. I was on the balcony when Pinga came with Momo-chan to have dinner there. I got nervous by Momo-chan's presence as he moved a lot and talked, or I should say made sounds.

New position for Momo-chan

Pingu got a tip from friends that their kids like this position so he tried it out with Momo-chan. He seems to like it too.

Midsummer dinner

Pingu and Pinga are celebrating Midsummer with their friends. They did good job barbecuing and making dinner. But what about me? I miss Pingu and Pinga... Come back home!

3 month old

Momo-chan became three month old today. He is in the car with Pingu and Pinga now.

Botanical garden

Momo-chan and Pinga went to the botanical garden after lunch. Many people were sunbathing there.

Pizza lunch

Momo-chan was awake during lunch. As Pinga and Pingu loves pizza at this place, Momo-chan has been to this place 5 times already. It was perfect weather for eating outside.

First vaccination

Momo-chan went to his third month check-up this morning. He is now 61cm and 6025g. That is exactly Swedish average baby height and length for three month.
He also got vaccination shots on both thighs. He has band-aids there in this picture. He cried for a minute or two but handled them well. Now he is taking a nap. I had a vaccination and check-up this month as well. The vet said that I need to go on a diet and also take out bad teeth...

Talking Momo-chan

Momo-chan talks a lot these days. It's good that he sounds happy but I am a bit scared of him.

Taking a walk in the evening

Pingu, Pinga and Momo-chan went out for a walk as it was still bright outside. It was very nice with almost no wind.

Momo-chan just woke up

Momo-chan slept a lot during day time as well today. He woke up and stretched his legs.

Strong neck Momo-chan

Momo-chan's neck is almost stable now. He was trying to stand up with the help of Pingu.

World cup

It seems like Momo-chan likes football. He was looking at TV with his arm lifted. It looked as if he was cheering for Germany. Well, it was Germany vs Serbia and Serbia was leading the game with one point.

Momo-chan meeting other babies

Momo-chan met three other moms and babies. They were lying on the blanket together.

Gift from Taiwan 台湾からの贈り物

Momo-chan received this hat and backpack from Pinga's friend in Taiwan. It's a bit too big for him now but he will grow into it soon!

Sneezing Momo-chan

As Momo-chan was sneezing Pinga put on these cute pants on him. He got warm and sleepy.

Shortbread animals

Pinga likes shortbread a lot so Pingu bought these in London. They are not only cute but tasty!

Sleeping by the cathedral

Momo-chan was sleeping while the other baby was running around with his dad.

Pizza lunch

Momo-chan and Pinga went to downtown to have lunch with Pingu. Pingu was happy to meet them. While they were eating their friend came and joined them.

Quiche

Inspired by Pinga's mom, Pinga made this quiche for dinner. She was happy to receive good comments from Pingu.

Colour match

Pingu happened to have a matching colour shirt with momo-chan. Look!

Momo-chan at friends' home

Momo-chan was visiting Pinga and Pingu's friends for afternoon tea. Their kids were interested in Momo-chan and brought him many toys and stuffed animals. This monkey was one of them.

Pinga apple pie

Pinga made some delicious apple pie today. Moomin looks like he wants a piece too.

Momo-chan's first laughter!

Momo-chan is making a lot of interesting noise nowadays. Today Pingu noticed that Momo-chan was laughing. Not only smiling but actually making laughing noises. Cute!

Yesterday was my 12th birthday!

It was my 12th birthday yesterday. Pinga and Pingu gave me some snacks but I wasn't all too interested. These new snacks are supposed to be good for my teeth so I am quite suspicious. Today I was unpleasantly surprised when Pingu took me to the vet to get vaccibated. Every year but I do not like it all.

Hat for Momo-chan

Even though it's been not so good weather these days, Pinga and Pingu were concerned about strong sunshine and bought this hat for Momo-chan. It's a bit big for him now as it's for 4-6 month babies.

New potatoes

Pingu bought new potatoes and dinner was Pinga mom's cabbage roll with new potatoes.

Today's Momo-chan

As Pinga has a fever, all three of us are staying home. I am hiding underneath the dining table and Momo-chan is sitting on a babysitter. He looks happy, isn't he?

Kirin Hyouketsu

Pinga's mother brought Pingu's favourite drink from Japan. It is an clear alcoholic beverage called hyouketsu. It tastes very nice on a hot day, especially with lots of ice. Thank you Pinga mother for bringing it!

I love food!

Momo-chan likes to eat and he is so determined to do so that he holds on firmly to Pinga's shirt to make sure she does not move.

Beached whales

Pinga thinks it is quite funny how Swedish people like to sun bathe as soon as there is a bit of sun out. She thinks they look like whales that have been washed belly up unto the beach. This photo was taken at Lund's botanical garden.

Dandelions

There are many dandelions right now and many of them have turned into white spheres. Pinga and Pinga's mom blew these ones at the Lund botanical garden.

Delicious clams

Pinga mother cooked delicious clams last week. It was very nice weather so we were out on the balcony.

BBQ

This is Pingu roasting marshmallow after barbecuing meat. Pinga liked this melting marshmallows a lot.

Lundasparris

Pinga's friend came to see Momo-chan for the first time. She was very nice and brought very cute clothes for Momo-chan and these asparaguses. Pinga was surprized to learn that there is an asparagus farmer in Lund. They were very tasty.

Dinner

Pinga's mom left for Tokyo this afternoon. Pingu and Pinga were missing her at the dinner table.

Sunset

It was a beautiful sunset close to 10pm. Many swans were there.

Bjärreds brygga

After the dinner, Pingu and others went for an icecream and a walk. They saw sunset there.

Trying to burp

This is Pinga's mom trying to burp Momo-chan after brinking. Sometimes he does it immediately and sometimes takes much longer time.

Nishokudon

Pinga's mom made nishokudon for dinner. Nishoku means two colors in Japanese. Yellow is from egg and brown is from minced chicken. Red line is made by pickled ginger. It was very tasty. Stuffed mushroom was also delicious.

Hamburger lunch

Pinga and her mom had a tasty and voluminous lunch in town. Momo-chan was sleeping when they get there but woke up while they were eating. It must have smelled tasty too.

Dinner at Örenäs castle

Pingu and others had dinner at a castle restaurant as Pinga's mom is leaving on Saturday. Both main dishes and desserts tasted delicious.

Viewpoint

On the way to Glumslöv Pingu stopped and took photos. It was good weather for taking photos but windy as usual.

On the back seat

Momo-chan went out to join babies and mothers afternoon tea. This is Momo-chan sitting next to another baby on the car.

At a supermarket

Pinga's mom came up with an idea to put Momo-chan on a shopping cart. Momo-chan got sleepy soon after he got on it. He was dressed warmly as it was just 10C degrees today.
