Wiping Momo-chan

Pingu was vacuum cleaning and Momo-chan wanted to help out. He started wiping with a towel. Good job Momo-chan!

After daycare

Just like yesterday Momo-chan went to a playground after daycare. He enjoyed swing and watching other older kids.

At a supermarket

After dinner they biked to a supermarket. Momo-chan likes to sit behind Pingu and bike.

Austrian pub again

Pinga had a girls night and went to have dinner at Rauhrackel. They shared three dishes and talked about many different things.

Pizza dinner in town

As it was nice and warm Pinga and Pingu biked down and had pizza dinner. Momo-chan enjoyed it too! Pinga brought pineapples for Momo-chan so he even had dessert. Nice!

Tractor

After the horses Momo-chan was saying tractor many times. He was happy seeing tractor in action.

Apa = horse

Houses went by and Momo-chan was running after them. For some reason Momo-chan calls horses "apa." In Swedish it's " hest" and in Japanese it's "uma." So we wonder why it's "apa."

Totoro birthday card

Momo-chan really likes Totoro. He was looking at the Totoro birthday card and saying Totoro this morning.

Visiting the horse farm

Momo-chan kept pointing towards the horse farm and saying "appar" which seems to mean horses at the moment. Pingu and Momo-chan went to the horse farm and met some horses and their owners including a black small dog called Lakrits (licorice). Momo-chan has so much fun they were late for dinner. Sorry Pinga!

Flowers

Momo-chan noticed some flowers while out walking. Nice white ones (prästkragar or oxeye daisies), so he stopped to have a closer look.

Full speed ahead!

Momo-chan and Pingu went outside this afternoon to enjoy the nice sunny weather. Momo-chan got this red car as a birthday gift from some very nice friends. Momo-chan likes to go fast as you can see in the photo. Just look at the hair!

Hmm it doesn't open...

Pinga was about to open the door and Momo-chan took away the key. Then he went here and trotted to us the key. But Momo-chan, there's no key hall there.

After daycare

Momo-chan wanted to go to a playground after daycare. There was no other kids but he enjoyed playing by himself.

Lunch in town

As it was nice and sunny, Pingu and Pinga biked down and had lunch at Pingu's favourite restaurant. Tandoori chicken was good but they became very thirsty afterwards.

Birthday cards and gifts

Momo-chan received many gifts and presents from Tokyo, Los Angeles, Stockholm and here in Lund. Would be nice if I get that much attention on my birthday.

Chasing the squirrel

Pingu and Momo-chan went out for a walk before lunch to enjoy the weather. They walked by a neighbor who asked if they had seen the squirrels that are active in the area. They went to look and they almost right away found one jumping from branch to branch very quickly. The dove to the right did not move much though.

Momo-chan's Birthday = waffle day

Momo-chan turned two years old today. It was sunny and warm so he played outside with Pingu. After opening presents while video calling to his grand patents in Tokyo, he had waffles. He seems to like it with a bit of whipped cream. March 25 is a waffle day in Sweden.

Momo-chan soaking in the sun

It was great weather today and Momo-chan is definitely half Swedish as you can see. The sign of first spring type weather and he cozy up in a chair facing the sun. With around 14 degrees C today and almost no wind we are hoping it stays like this.

Pictionary

It was Pinga's first time to play the drawing game Pictionary. They were very engaged and had much fun with it.

Birthday presents

As Momo-chan will turn two tomorrow, friends and relatives came with presents. Very nice!

Cinnamon rolls

Today's cinnamon rolls were moist and tasty too!

Momo-chan was very curious watching Pingu make cinnamon rolls.

Floor ball Momo-chan

After daycare Momo-chan and Pingu visited a friend's place. This friend studied together with Pingu's sister at high school and now he has five kids. Momo-chan played (or maybe I should say he held the floor ball racket and ran) floor ball for the first time. Pingu actually had more fun than Momo-chan while Momo-chan got hungry and wanted to go home.

To the playground

Momo-chan was showing that he wants to go to playground instead of daycare. Pinga convinced him and they went to daycare. He went to the playroom cheerfully without saying goodbye to Pinga. Typical Momo-chan!

Momo-chan and Pinga were on their way to daycare but Momo-chan wanted to go somewhere else. Here he is leading the way.

Moomin

Pinga likes Moomin and she has Moomin items at work. Moomin Xylimax is a souvenir from a friend who went to Finland. It's cute and tasty too!

Stop it Momo-chan!

Cam you guess where I am? I am behind this green chair avoiding Momo-chan. But he seems to like me and tries to come close to me.

Animal ambulance

Pinga's colleague spotted an animal ambulance parked outside of the building. It was Pinga's first time to see an animal ambulance. I hope my fellow animals that are transported by this car recover fine.

Trend colour Momo-chan

Yellow seems to be one of the trend colors this spring. Momo-chan was wearing a yellow shirt, yellow bib and eating pineapples.

Crane truck

Another favourite toy for Momo-chan is this blue crane truck. But he needs to be a bit more careful handling this as it hit Pinga's face and she was breeding from her lips.

Tåg! = Train!

The first word Momo-chan said after waking up was "tåg." Yes, Momo-chan is crazy about trains these days. Her is enjoying three Brio trains that he received from his friend very much.

On the way to daycare Momo-chan saw a garbage collection car and got really excited. He was waving to the guys working on garbage and they waved back:-)

Riding the rice bag

Pingu got the help of e colleague to buy nice Japanese rice from Malmö. Pingu brought it home and Momo-chan found it in the hallway. Why not sit on it? It is just like a small bean bag-

5 months old baby

Momo-chan was curious about this five months baby. Momo-chan came close to him when Pinga was holding him and they were together on Pinga's lap for a while. Cute!

Cat bus from Totoro

Momo-chan met a cat bus at our friends place. He was making a cat bus noise.

Afternoon tea

They went to their friends place for the second tea party of the day. I wouldn't be surprised if they start to grow a stomach like me.

Kids visitors

We invited some friends for morning tea and there were five kids. One of them was screaming "katten (the cat)" and I got super scared.

Sleeping together with Totoro

After Thatcher's visit, Momo-chan was tired and slept for two hours and Pingu and Pinga went to wake him up.

We had a dog guest this afternoon. I knew her as she lives together with my sister Brandy. Momo-chan was very curious but I didn't come out from the bedroom at all. She once licked me and i'm totally traumatized...

Momo-chan at a supermarket

Momo-chan and Pinga went shopping. He wanted to hold things that went into the cart. But Momo-chan! You can't drink cooking oil!

Playing together again

We had friends visit. Momo-chan was happy but I was scared so I stayed in the bedroom.

Present from a friend

Momo-chan's friend and his family are moving back to Japan. They were kind and gave us some stuff like kids bed and clothes. On top of that, Momo-chan received a present. Very nice!

Climbing the ladybug

Momo-chan's friend is leaving for Japan this weekend. That is sad but they were very kind to leave many things including Momo-chan toys and clothes behind so there will be many things to remember them by, This ladybug is interesting to Momo-chan as he tries to climb it but can not. A bit dangerous though since it is easy to slip. Be careful Momo-chan!

Kicking the ball

Momo-chan was playing outside with Pingu the other day. The football was in he yard and Momo.chan kicked it to Pingu. Maybe Momo-chan will unlike Pingu enjoy sports like football?

Eating on mom's lap

Momo-chan is eating a lot more now that he is not sick anymore. He first ate what was on his plate but then he wabted more and went over to Pinga to eat from her plate. Pinga's food is really tasty!

Then Momo-chan moved Pingu and Pinga to the floor and made sure that they don't fall over.

At the playground

Momo-chan wanted to play some more so he was pulling Pinga's hand towards a playground. So they came and played for almost an hour.
