Lawn mowing

It was nice and warm like 18C degrees so Pingu mowed lawn. Hmm it's going to be more difficult for me to find a spot to poo...

Valborg = Hanami Swedish version

Pinga thought about hanami, watching cherry blossoms and drinking in Japan, when seeing all these people sitting on a grass. Didn't know that there were this many people/students in Lund!

Valborg at Stadsparken

It was Pinga's first time to see how students celebrate Valborg. They gather at the city park and drink. Valborg day is to celebrate the spring. It's perfect today as it's sunny and nice.

Lunch on the sun

It was sunny so Pingu, Pingu's sister, Pinga and their friend had lunch outside. It was very nice. No wind and sunny!

Police on horses

As there are many people out celebrating and drinking Valborg today, there are more police out patrolling as well. Pinga still thinks it's unique and interesting to see police officers on horses as it never happens in Japan.

Last meal in London

Pingu had a panini and Pinga had scones. Pinga wanted to have fish and chips but they didn't have much time. Would have been better if they had a better weather and also they were not having cold. Pinga is a bit nervous flying as she might have ear pain because of the cold.

Olympic preparation

On the way to the Stansted airport they saw these buildings. Seems like many new buildings are built for this summer's Olympic game. It's less than three months away. At the airport, they found a shop selling Olympic goods as well. Pinga thought those Olympic mascots are not so cute though.

Stansted express

It's Pinga's first time to use Stansted airport. It's 50 minutes train ride from Liverpool Street station. The weather has been rainy.

This sign on the underground

Pinga was a bit surprised to see this sign on the subway. We are guessing it's set after the riot last year.

On the underground

Time flies and it's time for Pingu and Pinga to head home. They are taking underground to Liverpool Street station.

Afternoon tea

They got this three layered cake stand. It was much more food than it looked. Pinga liked the scones with clotted cream the best. Pingu usually doesn't drink tea but he did and he liked it.

Park room at the Grosvenor house

They are starting their afternoon tea with a glass of champagne and a fruit starter. Window seat was nice with a view of The l the Hyde park.

Checking? Hiding?

Can you see where I am in this photo? As you know I love to go into boxes so I had to check it out when Pinga opened this drawer.

Momo-chan with a shovel

Momo-chan still wanted to play outside daycare so Pinga asked Momo-chan of he wanted to see tractor.

Came to see a tractor

Momo-chan got excited to see a tractor even though it wasn't moving this time. He enjoyed the unevenly dug ground as well.

Day 4: Playground in the making

Seems like they did a lot of digging today. Must be tough working outside in the rain.

Momo-chan seemed to like meatballs, mashed potato and lingon jam and ate quite well.

Momo-chan at Ikea

They went to buy a new meatless at Ikea. Momo-chan was excited by all the stuff at the store.

Day 3: Playground in the making

When Pinga biked by this site this morning, the guy working on chopping the trees recognized her and waved. That was a nice way of starting a day.
So it looked like this around 16 o'clock. Seems like they did lots of digging.

Day 2: Playground in the making

Pinga passed by the future playground on the way back home from work. She was a bit shocked that not many of the trees are remaining there.

Sakura close up

Sakura at Momo-chan's daycare

Meeting his friend again

As they have forgot their camera, Momo-chan and Pinga went to deliver it. They got to play together for about an hour. Sunshine was nice.

Glasses for horses

After seeing the tractor work, Momo-chan wanted to see horses. Here he is collecting glasses to give to the horses. Momo-chan was still afraid of them and didn't want to give them by himself so Pinga gave them to horses.

Tractor in action

Not only Momo-chan but Pinga was curious seeing this tractor picking up the tree parts and collect them to one place.

New playground in the making

They were there to start preparing the land for building a new playground. They marked trees and started to cut them down. Pinga was surprised to see how many trees they cut down.

Another tractor coming!

Another tractor came to this ground. What will happen now?

Tractor up close!

Momo-chan stayed home with Pinga today. They went out to see horses but they found a tractor instead and Momo-chan got excited. He went close and touched it a bit.

Pingu under attack?

As you can see Pingu was popular among boys. They had fun climbing on him and so on.

Painting fun

It just uses water to paint and when it's dry, you can paint again. Nice!

A bird outside

Pingu said there's a bird outside and both of them wanted to see it.

It's mine!

Out started of ok butt then they started fight over the same toys. There were some screaming, pushing and a bit of hitting. Boys, can you be quite please!

Playdate

Momo-chan's friend came. It started of ok. Here they are playing together.

Vacuum cleaning is fun

That is according to Momo-chan. Look, he is playing with the cords. If it's according to me, it's scary.

Anpanman kouya dofu アンパンマン高野豆腐

Pinga prepared those Anpanman kouya dofu for Momo-chan. He tried them and liked it so so. But they definitely got Momo-chan's attention by those Anpanman illustration.

アンパンマンの高野豆腐を日本へ帰国した友達からもらったので、ピンガがももちゃん用に準備しました。ももちゃんはまあまあ好きかな、という感じでしたが、アンパンマンの絵には興味津々でした。

Centipede? ムカデ?

They found a centipede looking insect and got very curious. Pings didn't want to get close though...

ムカデらしき昆虫を発見し、皆興味津々に見つめていましたが、ピンガは昆虫は苦手なのであまり近づきませんでした。

Playing with neighbours

Momo-chan and Pinga went out for a walk and met a neighbour family who were outo in their garden. Momo-chan got to play together. First at a stand box then cycling or driving a Bobby car.

Dinner at friends home

Pingu and Pinga were quite shocked to find out that I did pee attack again on the same mattress. In a shock, they left for a dinner at their Laotian friends. As usual it was very delicious. Started of with those nama harumaki and fried harumaki, soup and pasta followed. They became super full stomach.

Hello horses!

Momo-chan and Pinga went too see horses again. He could be traumatized from the last visit and he didn't want to give glasses to horses. He was curious but kept his distance to them. Hope he can go closer next time.

Budapest cake

At Pinga's work, they have started a whole section Friday afternoon tea and cake break a free weeks ago. One person is assigned as an organizer each week and he or she brings cake, donuts or something sweet. It was a big Budapest cake today. Pinga asked her colleagues why it's called Budapest cake but none of then knew why and one of them were kidding by saying it's shipped str straight from Budapest.

Mischievous Momo-chan

Momo-chan still likes to play with Pinga's knit hut. He put it on by himself and started to run around.
