Tasty pizza!

Pingu joined some German meeting participants who knew a good pizza place. It sure was tasty and at a very good price too. They shared a family size pizza with their own toppings. Pingu had salsiccia sausage, spicy salami and gorgonzola on his part. Mmmmmmm!

Valencia beach

Now the meeting is over and Pingu went with some of the others to the beach. Valencia beach strip is quite wide and long and reminded Pingu of Santa Monica with joggers and people walking on a paved walkway along the beach.

Noisy protesters

The second day of the Valencia meeting there was quite a lot of noise in the street. Because Spain has a tough financial situation and many people are unemployed there are protests almost every day Pingu found out. Here some of them are gathered in front of an administrative building.

Huge pan of paella

There were many dishes served at the dinner but the main dish was paella served from this gigantic pan. Yummy!

At the social dinner

The evening yesterday ended with a social dinner arranged by the meeting host. There was of course some nice wine and food.

Japanese candy wrapper

On one of the walk ways Pingu found a collection of art pieces which was candy wrappers with different flags on them. Here is the one with the Japanese flag. Pingu did not see one for Sweden.

City of arts and science

At the end of the river bed park Pingu came upon the goal of his long walk, the city or arts and science with its large buildings of excellent architecture. Even if the museums and buildings were closed it was quite an experience just walking around them and enjoying the view.

It is Gulliver

The construction in the park is a huge fallen Gulliver. Here is a model of what the big construction looks like zoomed out. This model is inside the hat which is next to him. I wonder if there is a model inside the small hat and inside that one...

Can you tell what this is?

Pingu came upon a part of the park which was some kind of construction where kids could climb and run around on. It did not make sense at first. Can you make out what it is?

Sports?

In the river bed park Pingu saw some strange behavior where two teams ran and started hitting each other with padded weapons in some kind of game or is it even a sport?

Valencia river bed turned park

Pingu continues walking and came upon the old river bed which is now dry and turned into a long park with walk ways and nice green areas.

Frozen yoghurt

After yesterday's meeting Pingu went for a walk. He started out by buying some froze yoghurt with some topping choices. This is similar to LA but this time the number of toppings were limited and you could not pick it yourself.

Valencia

Pingu is on a work trip to Valencia. Here is a photo from the meeting room. The weather is very nice with sun, clear sky and 25 degrees C. I hope he can bring back some of that warmth to Lund.

Picnic at daycare: Part II

Daycare teacher told Pinga that he usually likes to play with three other girls. Those two girls and one more girl.

Picnic at daycare

There was a picnic at daycare today. Pinga and Pingu's sister got to see Momo-chan playing with other kids and also singing. Momo-chan was happy all the time. But he was more like talking while others were singing.

Third day with the cone

It's my third day with this cone. I am so looking forward to get id of this. Momo-chan is taking advantage of me being not so fast escaping from him and coming close to me. Momo-chan please don't touch my tail!

Momo-chan up close

Pinga was cooking in the kitchen and she was surprised to see me and Momo-chan like this. He seems to like me and curious about me. I moved away as I got stansted by Momo-chan touching my paw.

Cone around me

So I look like this now. A small tube is sewn to my cheek to empty the fluid. The annoying thing is that I can't go out until they remove this cone on Friday. I sneak out from the door but then I found out that I couldn't go under the fence because of this cone. Damn it!

Out from animal hospital

I spent almost whole day here at an animal hospital today. I got into s fight with one of the neighbouring cats and got injured. Below my left eye was very swollen so Pingu too me to the hospital and I was operated. Momo-chan and Pinga picked me up at 17. Momo-chan seemed to be happy to see me but I had no energy to deal with him today.

Girls night out

Pinga was out having dinner with her Japanese friends. Tasty dinner with fun conversation is always nice!

Playing with water

Momo-chan likes to play with water so Pingu filled this plastic container with water. Momo-chan played a lot and got quite wet.

At the hospital

I got into a fight with another cat and Pingu noticed I had a big swelling under one of my eyes. Therefore he took me to the animal hospital today. I am still there and hope everything will go well.

At Copenhagen airport's quiet area

Pingu is on his way to Valencia on a job trip. He is enjoying the quiet area which he hasn't noticed before.

Chasing duckies

Momo-chan found those duckies sitting on grass. He went close and started chase them.

Dinner side by side

Momo-chan and his firend enjoyed grill dinner too. But they seemed to like tomatoes and cucumbers more than meat. Her mom told Pinga that she discovered ketchup and likes it a lot. Momo-chan likes almost all kinds of sauce but he doesn't eat ketchup often as we don't have a ketchup bottle at home.

They had a grill dinner outside. It was nice and warm and the Elvis burger their friends have prepared was very tasty.

Ballerina Momo-chan

Pinga was surprised when Momo-chan came in his fried's tutu (ballerina outfit). He seemed to like it and he put it on twice.

Girly sunglasses Momo-chan

They were at their friedns place in Malmö. She is a year (13 months to be exact) younger than Momo-chan but she has been walking for two months now. Momo-chan borrowed her sunglasses and he seemed to like it.

Eurovision song contest finale

Pinga is watching the finale of Eurovision song contest with Pingu's sister and her friends. There are 26 countries participating. Swedish representative's performance was excellent. Hope she wins!

Cozy afternoon

It was nice and sunny this morning but it started raining all of a sudden. So it's good to stay home and take it easy. Zzz...

Moving day pizza

In Japan people eat soba noodles on a moving day. Pingu's sister said that it's kind of common to have pizza on a moving day in Sweden.

Piano

Pingu's sister has a piano. Momo-chan will have fun with this.

Moving in

Pingu's sister has moved to Lund from Stockholm. Pingu helped her setting up things and building bookshelves. Momo-chan was curious about all those boxes.

Asparagus dinner

So they had asparagus dinner. Momo-chan liked them and ate well too.

Swedish asparagus

Pinga's ex-colleague got these for us. Well, I don't eat asparagus but you know what I mean. They were very tasty with sweetness to them.

Lawnmower Momo-chan

Outside of the castle, Momo-chan found this lawnmower and he said " tractor!" and ran towards it. He was so proud sitting on the drivers seat.

Tasty local asparagus

Pinga's colleague has once again delivered very tasty local asparagus to us. Momo-chan is also an asparagus lover and eats a lot of it. Good job Momo-chan!

Water is fun!

Momo-chan likes to play around when he is supposed to wash his hands. Playing with water is fun and he both fills up the cup and drinks it. He then starts to pour out water and laughs.

Sleeping on the bike

Momo-chan was very content but also tired after his day at the park. He feel asleep on the way home. He did not wake up even as Pingu parked the bike.

Labyrinth

In the park there is also a labyrinth for kids. Now that all teh leaves have come out, it is both fun and challenging to get to the center. Momo-chan is running wild and can't wait to see what is behind the next corner.

In the park there was several train like constructions. Momo-chan loves trains and had to try them out of course,

At the big playground downtown

On the day Pinga came back to Lund from Italy the weather became very nice and warm. Pingu decided to bike downtown with Momo-chan to play at the city park's playground. As you can see it is quite popular and Momo-chan enjoyed it very much.

A window in-between

Momo-chan likes to climb things and so do I. In this case I was happy there was a window pane in-between us. Don't come any closer!

To the last drop

Momo-chan likes to have fruits for dessert. Here Momo-chan is drinking the last drops of the fruit juice after pineapple. Of course it often turns into playing with the bowl.

Big boy = big chair

Momo-chan is growing older and he know wants to sit on the normal chairs sometimes. Here he is enjoying a cracker and some milk.

Mini golf

Just by the castle restaurant there is a mini golf course that Momo-chan explored before heading home.

Tractor! .... or lawn mower

After dinner Momo-chan was so happy to find a riding lawn mower so he went over to sit on it. A John Deere even.

Dessert!

Momo-chan was interested in both the desserts and since he is so cute he was allowed to taste them. Yummy!

More walking

After main course there was some time to walk again but with Pingu this time.
