Pinga went to see her friend in Gunma today. Karuizawa was beautiful with red leaves.
They went too have lunch at this Singaporean restaurant. Momo-chan was curious about these crabs and shrimps.
Momo-chan's cousin turned three yesterday so there was a birthday dinner followed with the cake. She was happy with the cake and presents.
Then they went to have some tea. This time they went to a Japanese sweet place. Almost everything is delicious in Japan and Pinga will miss those good food.
Pinga met her friend this afternoon. She is teaching archiving class at this university and she asked Pinga if she wanted to visit her school. There were a couple of new buildings on campus and it was interesting for her to see the school after 15 years.
Momo-chan's cousin is eleven months old. Pinga was looking after him this morning. It was not a difficult task as he played around and fell asleep. So peaceful...
Pinga had ladies lunch with her mom and sister. Freshly fried meat and vegetables were very tasty.
Deja-vu was asking Pinga's mom to give her some. But she's not supposed to eat something with spice and also not good to give her food from the table. She got some vegetables though.
The petting zoo had feeding of the goats and Momo-chan both petted and fed them. He was not so afraid of them this time. Last time was at the in early January.
Momo-chan loves trains so they rode the zoo monorail twice. It connects the east and the west side of the zoo.
Momo-chan was happy to play with his cousin again. They were doing all kinds of mischievous activities. All of a sudden appeared with Pinga's mom's pajama too.
They took a walk too the beach in Atami. The weather was not terrific but momo-chan was happy running around the beach.
They had private bath time in the morning. The ocean view was wonderful and Momo-chan enjoyed it too.
Here's matsutake dish. Matsutake was streamed with shrimp and mitsuba. Both Pingu and Momo-chan liked it.
They took shinkansen from Kobe and came to this onsen town. Monday night but many guests at this ryokan. Momo-chan ate matsutake for the first time.
Amanohashidate was badly hit by a typhoon nine years ago. More than 200 pine tree died that time and this Souryuu pine tree was one of them.
At the beginning of Amanohashidate, there is this moving bridge. When they came, two boats are passing so the bridge was moving to let them pass.
On their way to their next stop after Asuka they changed trains at Kyoto station. The station building is quote interesting and they were headed to the top but had to turn back in order to not miss the next train.
