Cheese fondue

Today's dinner was cheese fondue. Pingu's sister came to join as well. It was delicious. Pinga especially liked it with cauliflower. Momo-chan didn't want to try it though.

Fallen asleep

After the mall, they were at a supermarket. Then they drove home. Momo-chan said to Pinga that he needs his jacket. Pinga understood why when they arrived home and found him like this.

スムージーももちゃん Smoothie break

Pinga went to a mall with Momo-chan. Right after they arrived, Momo-chan found those fresh juices at a cafe and he said he is thirsty. As he was quite determined Pinga bought this mango passion fruit Smoothie for him. He was happy.

Gulliver Momo-chan?

Momo-chan feel asleep on the way home from shopping. Be careful,  your tips are taking over!

Friend visit

Momo-chan's favorite friend from daycare came to visit with his dad in the afternoon. They were sitting together on Momo-chan's chair together. Momo-chan didn't want to but snack fixed the problem.

Wanton making!

Pinga had been downtown to buy ingredients for making wanton so Momo.chan helped. Here he is rolling the meat before putting it on the wanton dough skin.

Unplanned playdate

Momo-chan was out bicycling with Pingu when they decided to go by Momo-chan's close daycare friend. He turned 4 just two days ago and they went out bicycling together since the friend had received a new bike as present. They ended up ay Pingu and Pinga's house for a bit of snack as well.

When the Cat's Away, the Mice Will Play

Momo-chan was in the living room with Pinga and then Pingu called them over. What had happened? The toys had invaded the bedroom and was up to all kinds of mischief. Momo-chan was sighing "again?".

Visiting friend

After the playgrounds, they had a short visit to their neighbors. Momo-chan had fun with them. They have a lot of Lego pieces. Maybe it's soon time for Momo-chan to switch to normal size Lego from Lego Duplo.

To another playground

Momo-chan and Pinga meet their neighbors at the playground. Here they are heading to another playground together.

Look, it's standing!

Momo-chan found out that his bike can stand itself on the snow. He was proud and happy.

On the bike

Momo-chan likes to go into water. So he was happy going through this puddle.

Bronze for Sweden

Pinga watched it in real time Swedish athlete got a bronze medal for ski cross. Would have been nice if Japanese athletes were there too.

Sochi Olympic

Pinga is still at home sick. It's not fun but watching Olympic ski cross seems to be an ok activity. She loves skiing.

Cable guy

Pingu finally exchanged a broken cable yesterday. It was a lot of work since it was partly in the attic. Momo-chan found the old cable and had a lot of fun with it.

Candy game

Pingu and Pinga have been gone sick this week so not much news. Instead here is a photo from last weekend. This was at Momo-chan's friend's birthday party. They food a bag of candy and it was delivered like this.

Influenza

Both Pingu and Pinga are at home as they are sick. It's the first time they are sick at the same time. High fever avd body pain... They are hoping Momo-chan wouldn't get the same sickness. I hope so too!

Scooping gold fish 金魚すくい

There was a Japanese food stand and if you buy something, you get a special scooper to scoop gold fish or bouncy balls. As Momo-chan wanted to do it, Pinga bought itokonnyaku at the shop. He scored many gold fish (not real ones this time) and few bouncy balls. Fun for kids and food business for the shop.

Mochitsuki = rice cake pounding

After lunch, they did mochitsuki. Mono-chan got to try with kids size kine (wooden hammer) as well.

Lunch time

Japanese style bento box was their lunch. Momo-chan liked gozaimasu and pickles. He decorated his bento with an ambrella.

Ryukyu dance performance

After the violin performance, this Taiwanese Canadian person showed Okinawa traditional dance. Not only Pinga but Momo-chan was curious.

Japanese association's event

Momo-chan and Pinga joined Skåne's Japanese association's event today. Here's Japanese ambassador giving speach. He traveled from Stockholm to attend this event.

Overall shopping

After the party they went into town to look for Momo-chan's overall for next year. This one Momo-chan is trying on its size 110 so they bought 100 for him.

Candy time

They received candies in a bag from the host. Here they are enjoying them.

お誕生会 Birthday party

Momo-chan was invited to his friend's birthday party as he turned four. There were about ten small guests accompanied by their parents. There were many things going on.

After gymnastics

They usually take a break and eat abs drink after the exercise. Here's Momo-chan eating satsuma happily. He likes to line them up.

Family gymnastics

Just like last week, Momo-chan went to this family gymnastics this morning. He likes to run but he is not so fond of warming up exercises. Can you find him running in the middle of the photo?

Favorite friend

Momo-chan was with his favorite friend when Pinga went to pick him up. Daycare teacher said that they like each other. Momo-chan talks about him a lot at home.

Valentine's day

Momo-chan made those hearts at daycare. Pingu cane back home with these tulips. Pinga had chocolates for Pingu. Happy Valentine's day!

Snowy morning

Momo-chan wanted to go to daycare with his sleigh as it was snowing this morning. Pinga thought it was a good idea as it stopped snowing and snow disappeared quickly.

Daycare friend

Pinga went to pick Momo-chan up at daycare but he wanted to continue to have fun with his friend. He is one of Momo-chan's favorite daycare friends.

Totoro and Momo-chan

Sticker Momo-chan

Momo-chan and his friends at daycare like stickers come with fruits. Momo-chan wanted to have this grapefruit sticker on his forehead.

Moomin sticker book

Before dinner Momo-chan was doing this sticker book. Pinga got it for him as she is a fan of Moomin.

Ladybug

They went out together and found a ladybug. Unfortunately it was not alive.

Playing together

Momo-chan had fun playing with his one year older friend. His little brother was curious about many things and crawling around.

Lunch guests

They had friends over for lunch. This baby was one of the guests. He ate very well and wanted to eat some more.

Anpanman

They watched Anpanman together for a while. Then they got bored an d started painting, riding a car and so on.

Friends over for dinner

Two families came for dinner. So there were five kids. They had a lot of fun together.

チーズはんぺん Cheese hanpen

ももちゃんのお昼ご飯はチャーハンとチーズをはさんだはんぺんでした。ももちゃんははんぺんが大好きで、二枚をペロリと食べました。
Momo-chan's lunch was fried rice and hanpen with cheese. Momo-chan like hanpen a lot.

Hair band Momo-chan

Before brushing his teeth, Momo-chan wanted to try Pinga's hair band. It looked good on him.

Blow drying hair

Mono-chan enjoyed blow drying of his hair by Pingu after bathing.

Macaroon time

Pinga and Momo-chan enjoyed macaroons after dinner. They are from Pierre Hermé in Paris. Pinga thinks their macaroons taste the best. Momo-chan liked it and said he wanted more. They will enjoy them bit by bit every day.

Pingu's gratin

Pingu cooked gratin for the first time. It was more like soup pasta but it was tasty. Good job Pingu!

Blinking green glasses

Pinga brought back these glasses for Momo-chan from Dominican republic and he liked them but they were a little bit too big for him.

Macaroons

Pinga went to her favourite macaroon place. There were many Chinese and some Japanese people there.

Mini trip to Paris city

As Pinga had six hours in Paris to transfer, she decided too go into the city. As it was a bit tight time frame, none of her colleagues wanted to go with her.

Bye bye Punta Cana

Pinga left Punta Cana yesterday evening at 9pm. As you can see, the airport building has tropical features too.
