So here's Momo-chan excited about their new sprinkler.

Little helper

Garden project

Pingu and Momo-chan have been working hard on the garden. Today they went to buy these: very long hose, sprinkler and shower head.

No peeing outside please!

Momo-chan started saying he was going to pee on the plants to make them grow quicker but Pingu clearly explained that was not the case and he needed to pee inside.

Watering the rhubarb

With water flowing Momo-chan got the important job of watering the rhubarb.

Garden hose project

Pingu bought a replacement part for the water outlet on the outside wall. Finally the water flows as it should again. Momo-chan was helping out as well and enjoyed the water splashing.

Okonomiyaki with spring cabbage

As it's the season for adoring cabbage, Pinga made Okonomiyaki. Momo-chan ate one piece but he liked sautéed vegetables more. Asparagus, mini corns, mushrooms and bacon in it.

Little visitors

They had two families came for afternoon tea. One of the guests were this baby who is almost one year old. He is in a period that is afraid of meeting strangers abs cried when he met Pingu and Pinga.

Ghost Momo-chan お化けももちゃん

Momo-chan wanted to put on Pinga's cardigan and said he was a ghost. Here's Momo-chan dancing with his new outfit.

Garden work

Pingu has been working hard taking care of the garden. Today he removed weeds around rhubarbs. Momo-chan was outside together moral suppoting him.

Kissing tulips

Momo-chan is interested in animals, plants and insects. So now the flowers are blooming he often stops by and points flowers to Pinga. Here he found tulips and made them kiss. Sweet Momo-chan!

On a big swing

Momo-chan tried two different kind of swings.

Big playground

They visited friends place and is close to this big playground. It was very nice weather but there was no one except for Momo-chan's group.

Sakura blooming

Sakura in their neighborhood is blooming. Here's Momo-chan examining them. He wanted to pick one of them so Pinga stopped him.

ちょんまげももちゃん Chonmage Momo-chan

Momo-chan wanted to have his hair tired so Pinga did it for him and he was very happy. He came for family gymnastics with Pinga but he insisted that he wanted to do it with Pingu. So they didn't do it. Stubborn Momo-chan!

Schnitzel time

Pinga was out with former colleagues at an Austrian style pub. They have this big schnitzel. She was thinking of her dad as he loves schnitzel.

Daffodil + tulip river

Pinga noticed that tulips are among daffodils and now they are blooming together. It's her favourite spot on the way to and back from town central these days.

Sakura blooming

This photo doesn't do justice but sakura in their neighborhood is blooming now.

Visiting a friend

Pinga went to say hello to a friend who has this dog Bolt. Bolt was very happy to see her too.

End result

The sole cake turned out well. Pingu cane back home when they were about to taste it. Here's Momo-chan getting happy seeing Pingu.

Baking

Momo-chan helped Pinga a bit with making apple cake. But actually, he was very interested in eating the dough.

Tasting the dough

Momo-chan tasted the dough many times when Pinga was not close by.

Warm house

Beside rabbit houses was this warm house. There was basil, dill, tomato, and so on. Curious Momo-chan checked them closely.

Meeting rabbits

As Momo-chan was still stuck, he spend time with Pinga today. After origami and supermarket shopping, they biked by to see rabbits. There were more than thirty rabbits inside and outside.

Sakura tree

This is one of the sakura trees soon to bloom at the botanical garden. Sakura around their home are blooming but it was not.

Hanami lunch

Pinga initiated a hanami event at work. So they bought sushi and went to botanical garden to see sakura. Unfortunately sakura there has not started to bloom yet. But they enjoyed sunshine, sushi and good company.

Full speed ahead

Today they had friends over for afternoon coffee. Momo-chan had a lot of fun playing with the two kids and since it was pretty good weather they played a lot outside.

Momo-chan the gardener

It was still nice weather after they came back so Pingu decided to cut the grass. It was difficult since the grass had grown tall. Momo-chan helped and raked the cut grass.

Water fun

It was sunny and warm today so they went out and played in the garden. Momo-chan liked playing with the boats a lot and made some snails go in them as passengers.

Easter eggs

These are painted easter eggs and not the kind with candy inside.

Easter lunch

Today they went to some friends to have a very tasty easter lunch.

Påskkärring (Easter witch)

Momo-chan asked to wear this head scarf as he wanted to dress as a Easter witch.

The hunt for the Easter egg

While Momo-chan was in the kitchen Pingu prepared and hid an Easter egg with candy in the play room. After some help Momo-chan found it.

Street art

Pinga bought these crayons for drawing outside a while ago. While Pinga went for workout Momo-chan and Pingu created some art in the driveway. Momo-chan is adding the finishing touches to Totoro holding an umbrella.

Cabbage lover

Momo-chan tried spring cabbage recently and after that he requested Pingu to buy some when they went shopping. Pinga was preparing okonomiyaki for lunch and had chopped cabbage in a bowl. Momo-chan then started eating it raw.

Present from Tokyo

Momo-chan opened his last birthday present this morning. It was shinkansen train and rails. Here he is taking them out from the box.

Flight paths

Pingu and Momo-chan was walking home from daycare some days ago and the sky was blue and clear. Momo-chan looked up and noticed many het streams from aircrafts above.

Heavy lifting?

Last bath time Momo-chan wanted to show that he could lift the basin by himself.

Innovative footwear

Pingu was preparing for trash collection day when Momo-chan came in and took two of the compacted milk cartons and turned them into slippers. Clever Momo-chan!

Watering flowers

Mono-chan came back home and he wanted to water plants again. Here's Momo-chan watering rose bush.

Apple jam in monaka りんごジャム最中

ももちゃんは最中の皮が好きだけれどあんこは気分次第で食べたり食べなかったり。ピンガが最中の皮の中に自家製りんごジャムを挟んだら気に入り、今日もりんごジャム!とリクエストして作ってもらいました。
Monaka is a Japanese sweet. It usually has red bean paste inside. They received a monaka gift and it is make your own monaka set. So the skin and red bean paste contents are in different package. Momo-chan likes crispy monaka skin but not so fond of red bean paste. So Pinga put homemade apple jam inside and he likes it a lot.

Momo-chan came back home and found Pinga inside the house. Then this was what he did to Pinga. How nice...

桜咲く Sakura blooming

Sakura flowers in Lund have started to bloom. Pinga is planning a hanami lunch with colleagues next week.

水仙の川 Flower river of narcissus

On the way back from town, Pinga passed by a field and the was this narcissus river. Although cold, spring is approaching for sure.

Easter approaching

It's easter this weekend avd many houses and shops have this kind of easter decorations.

Lime panna cotta

Pingu made chicken dish and this dessert. It was very tasty. Momo-chan mainly are blueberries though.

Swinging

It was a strange changing weather today but they were out for a bit when it was not raining.

Playdate

Momo-chan's friend from daycare came to play for two hours in the afternoon. They had lots of fun with pirates outfit.

Trying salad leaf together

Little brother to Momo-chan's friend is almost one year old. Momo-chan gave me a salad leaf to try. He was curious but didn't like it much.
