Lego safari

Here's Momo-chan driving a safari jeep by himself. Cool!

Miniature Lego town

Momo-chan got so excited to see fire truck, garbage truck, boats, airplanes and so on moving in action in miniature Lego town. He wanted to look at fire truck and airplanes for a long time.

Flying frog

It goes up and then down and up again. As you can see, Momo-chan liked it a lot.

Splash time

Legoland is very well made to satisfy wide range of audience. There are attractions for small kids and older kids. Here's is a splash area for younger kids.

Now with a sword too

Shield and sword

Momo-chan said many times that he wants a sword. Here he is happily playing at a store.

Waiting...

They were eager to get on but they had to wait for a while until their turn.

Castle show

They watched this castle show while they had lunch. Before the show started, Momo-chan asked Pinga "when does the princess come out?" a couple of times. Momo-chan and his friend were very focused with the show.

Splash maker

By some water attractions, the are pumps like this or in other forms and they could splash at people on the ride. Here's Momo-chan creating splash in front of him.

Everything in Lego

Almost everything is made of Lego in Legoland. Here is a polar bear by the roller coaster.

Fire truck

The first attraction they did was this fire truck. They move the fire truck forward to reach the house on fire, put it the fire like this, and then back at the starting point. Momo-chan liked it a lot.

Legoland!

After too many days according to Momo-chan they finally arrived this morning to Legoland. It was raining a bit in the morning but after they arrived,  it stopped.

At daycare

When Pinga came to pick Momo-chan up, there were five kids left. Momo-chan likes playing with other kids and it almost always takes time to get him leave there.  As usual, he continued playing and left when the last kid's daddy showed up. But I guess it's better than he doesn't enjoy being there.

Friend visit

Momo-chan became very happy when his friend came for dinner. They had fun in the pool.

French cheeses

As Pinga went with her French friend to the stand, she got an extra cheese. Five cheese for 100 crowns are quite nice.

International food festival

There was international food festival at walking street in Malmö. Pinga bought some nice French cheese.  it was 29C degrees and both Bolt and Momo-chan became tired from the heat.

Baby seagull

They drove to Malmö and took a walk with Bolt. In this inner courtyard, they found a baby or kid seagull and Momo-chan got excited. But he followed it around and it got annoyed by him.

Water war

Momo-chan was excited to do a water war with water pistols. It turned out to be him, Pinga's friend, Bolt versus Pinga. They had lots of fun.

Picking red currants

Momo-chan helped picking red currants from the garden. He was quite good at it. It became much more than last year but not enough fir baking a pie.

Wooden work stand

There were many handcraft stands at the fair. Pinga bought very nice elk and cat butter knives here.

Danish side

Pinga and her friends stayed on the festival side or you can say Danish side. Thet fired cannon quite many times so it became quite smokey.

Too friendly hedgehog?

Pingu went to an old friend to celebrate his birthday last night. They were sitting in the garden when they heard a noise in the bushes. It was this cute hedgehog moving around. He who lived there was not so positive and said this hedgehog once had entered his living room and he had to chase it out. Maybe a bit too friendly?

In line for the tractor ride

On the way back to where they parked their car, they decided to go by tractor. It was a lot of people and it became quite crowded but they found room to get on.

Fire!

Here the Swedish soldiers are firing (blanks) towards the Danish soldiers on the other shore. They also had a cannon but it was so loud that Pingu did not capture any image of it firing since it made a very loud noise and they used both hands to cover their ears.

Time for "battle"

Momo-chan and Pingu followed the Swedish soldiers to the other side of the lake for the "battle".

Danish soldiers

There was both Swedish and Danish old style uniformed soldiers at the fair. They were in charge of the firing of the cannon and re-enacting some part of the fighting in the 1600-eds. Because of the wind and maybe shaking of the table one of the Danish persons were taping these small models to the table. The guy in the background was making led balls (ammunition for the pistol or rifles at that time).

Small frog this time

The fair was just upon the edge of a lake and when Momo-chan found a smal frog they decided to walk and set it free in the lake. Can you see the small brown frog just in front of Momo-chan on the rock?

Making tar

This is where they were making tar. In the end the tar comes out and runs into the bucket you can see a the bottom.

Turning logs into beams

Pingu and Momo-chan walked around the fair area and saw many things. They stopped by to see how a man was using a type of axe to turn a log into a beam used to build a house. Momo-chan was fascinated and asked many questions.

Ponies at the fair

On the way to the area for the medieval fair there came a procession of ponies. One even had this old style blanket on even though it was quite warm.

After a nap and dinner he regained energy. Here he is trying out some sunglasses at a shop.

Tired Momo-chan

After the face painting, Pinga got ice cream for Momo-chan but he was too sleepy and didn't eat much. He fell asleep and slept through the bus ride and train ride. He lost one of his flip flops on the bus.

Tribal

Momo-chan picked the one called tribal.

Which one should I pick?

Tiger? But it looks scary... Dinosaur? Looks a bit weird. Hmm...

Waiting in line

After the beach was Landskrona city festival. At the kids corner, there was a stand for face painting. In Lund, Vancouver and Austria, it was for free but here it costs this time. Pinga was a bit surprised with the pricing. Momo-chan said he wanted to be a tiger so they were in line waiting.

Ladybug on Momo-chan

There were many bugs by the sea and they liked to stick to clothes. Here you can see a ladybug on Momo-chan's hat.

Can you find Momo-chan?

Lunch time

Pinga prepared lunch so they ate before bathing.

To the beach

After a bus, train and bus, they arrived seaside. It was 29C degrees with a bit of wind.

Wild strawberries

Momo-chan likes flowers and plants. The other day, Momo-chan and Pinga walked by a flower shop and he found strawberries on them. Momo-chan asked Pinga if he could eat it and the answer was no. But he didn't make a fuss about it so that was good.

Mango sorbet

It was another very sunny day and Pinga took Momo-chan to an ice cream place. Momo-chan chose mango flavour. Pinga noticed that he could finish big ice cream scoop by himself. But he had mini panic with melting and dripping ice cream.

Dressin

Pinga tried riding this interesting vehicle with her friends. It's like a bike but goes on an old railway track. When downhill, it went quite fast. The stretch they rode from Broby was 6 km.

Momo-chan recovering

Day 7 of chickenpox and he is looking much better. But as you can see, he is scratching.

What is Momo-chan holding?

Momo-chan likes different kinds of vegetables and here he's holding baby corns.

Cheese fondue

Pingu's dad is visiting and Pinga prepared cheese fondue. Momo-chan liked it too!
