Salmon sashimi

While Pinga was making sushi, Momo-chan tried salmon and he liked it a lot.

Sushi appetizer

Pinga made sushi for appetizer. It got good comments from their friends but Momo-chan and his friends were not interested in them.

新年準備 Ready for new year

Momo-chan is at his friend's place for new year. They are making noise together.

Tenn = pewter or tin = スズ

Pinga was taking things out from one of the boxes and found many many pewter glasses. Wow Stoneleigh had a big collection at home! It says svenska tenn handarbete, meaning Swedish tin handmade.

ボランティア Volunteering

Pinga was helping church related secondhand shop. She helped kitchen things section. Washing things, drying them, then group them and put them on the wagons. Also helped putting things out on the shelves. In the afternoon, there were so many customers at the store. She was asked questions by customers too. She will go back and help them out again.

Cousin meet-up

This evening they sent to visit Pingu's oldest brother and his family who live in Malmö. They had a nice dinner and then Momo-chan enjoyed spending time with his cousin.

Klippan wool factory outlet

Last stop on the road trip was to the wool factory outlet. They had a lot of cute stuff so Pinga had lots of fun.

Christening vessel

This huge sea shell is actually a vessel used when christening babies.

Church visit

Next stop was St Petri church in Klippan. It is a modern church with an  interesting architecture. Momo-chan lit a candle and checked out the different areas.

Miniature trains

Today they all made a road trip. First stop was at a newly opened model railway museum in Hässleholm. It is the biggest in Sweden and recreates many areas nearby Hässleholm.

Christmas present

Momo-chan got another nice Christmas present from Pinga's friend. It's Pinocchio jigsaw puzzle. Nice and big pieces for Momo-chan.

魚釣りゲーム Fishing game

Momo-chan got this fishing game from Pingu's sister. It's popular among kids and adults. Look how serious they were playing this game.

Mango lassy

They were invited to lunch at their Indian friends new house. Momo-chan liked the mango lassy a lot and asked for more. The lunch followed was delicious too.

Play date

Momo-chan played with his favorite friend today. They were at a playground with sleigh, then at Momo-chan's place and then at her place.

Sunny but cold

Pinga was taking a walk with her friends and Bolt. There was nice blue sky but very cold, minus 6 degrees. Street was icy and Pinga was nervous bicycling.

Trains!

Momo-chan got many nice presents. One of them was this very nice railway and trains from Pinga's sister.

Christmas dinner

After opening presents they had Christmas dinner. The table was full of food and they took their time to enjoy all of it. 

Goodnight Christmas eve!

Momo-chan stayed up late yesterday but finally feel asleep. Goodnight says Pingu.

Fantastic dinner

Pingu,  Pinga and Momo-chan went to dinner at their French friend's place. They had 5 starters, main course to finish off with 3 different desserts! It was all tasty and it took about 6 hours. Pinga new since dishes of course since she helped prepare some.

Snowy morning

Momo-chan woke up and got excited as he saw snow outside the window. He called Pinga and said that he wanted to go out and throw a snow ball to her. Well, he later said that he did not want to go out as it was cold.
Then Pinga found a message from her friend in U.S. saying that their friend has passed away yesterday. She was so shocked. Her friend mentioned that she was sick but she had no idea how seriously ill she was... It is really tough when someone passes away all of a sudden and she was too young...

New haircut

Momo-chan got new haircut from Pingu. Pinga thinks it's too short though.

Christmas present from Tokyo

Minivan opened Christmas package from Pinga's parents this morning. It was this dinosaur puzzle and some Japanese food. He became so happy. He was actually taking about Pinga's parents and said he wanted to meet them.

とろろ昆布 Tororo sea weed

In the package was one of Momo-chan's favorite foods, tororo konbu. He was so happy wrapping rice ball with them. Mmm tasty.

Snow!

During the night snow fell so when they woke up this morning they found the garden covered in snow!

After dinner Pingu and Momo-chan assembled the train track and tried it out.

Momo-chan got many nice presents. One of them was this very nice railway and trains from Pinga's sister.

Christmas Disney time

Before opening presents they watched the one hour Disney Christmas cartoon special at 3 pm. This is a Swedish tradition and very few are outside during the airing of this programme.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is celebrated in Sweden on Christmas eve. Here is Momo-chan opening one of his presents. He has already opened the one with this huge Pingu in it, which he later slept with.

Out from the oven

They rode nicely when coming out from the oven. Pinga was totally impressed by the outcome. They will be choux a la creme swans.

Choux baking

Pinga was at her friend's place helping preparation for Christmas day. He used to work as a baker and he was quick and precise with choux making.

Chocolate from London

Pinga had chocolate break in the afternoon as her colleagues at another section received these from a translation company. Not only looked good they were delicious too.

Burger lunch

Pingu and Pinga had a a lunch date at this burger restaurant. Pinga was thinking about her dad as he likes this place.

Escargot dinner

Them they decided to taste some escargot. Pinga thought they are delicious and her friend thought they need more salt.

Christmas preparation

Pinga was at her friend's place helping preparing escargot for Christmas day. They prepared 120 escargot! Well, Pinga arrived after her yoga class and her friend had planned twisted many already.

Gingerbread cookies

Pinga baked these gingerbread cookies today. Momo-chan liked then a lot. Nice and crunchy with almonds in it.

They were visiting Pingu's sister to help decorating the tree. Momo-chan was in his gingerbread man outfit.

Pingu set up the light and the next is to hang decorations. Here's Momo-chan hanging handmade Christmas cracker.

Christmas nail

Pinga did Christmas nails. Those stickers are from Pinga's sister.

Karaage

Today's karaage was extra crispy and testy. Was it because of food assistant chef?

Momo-chan as an assistant chef

Momo-chan loves to help out in the kitchen. He did good job preparing karaage chicken this evening.

Christmas breakfast

Att Pinga's work, it was Christmas breakfast this morning. Pickled herring, ham, mustard, egg with shrimp on top and cheese. For many people at work, tomorrow will be the last working day for this year. Pinga will work until Tuesday.

Flexible Momo-chan

Pingu and Momo-chan was playing and noticed he is quite flexible. Here he is scratching his head.

Please don't go!

Momo-chan's favourite friend was visiting Momo-chan yesterday and today. When her dad came to pick her up, he was holding her and hugging her like this as he wanted her to stay.

Bath time

Today it is time for a bath and shower for Momo-chan. Here he is having fun with the bath alexia which dissolves in water and inside there is a toy. A nice souvenir from Pinga's mom.

Christmas tree decorations

Pingu,  Pingu's sister and Momo-chan made Christmas tree decorations Sunday afternoon. Momo-chan had already made this type at kindergarten but this type they hid surprises inside.

New clothes

Momo-chan received lots of clothes so he wanted to try some. He likes this a lot and also he likes Angry bird shirt and socks. Really nice that Pingu and Pinga have very nice and generous friend!

すごい美味しい！ Very tasty!

Said Momo-chan eating the dish. So what did he have for dinner? It was unagi, eel Japanese style. He really liked it. But it's from Japan so can't get it here in Sweden...

Little big planet

These kids came to visit for lunch. They remembered playing Little big planet and wanted to do it again. So here they are enjoying it. This time Momo-chan could have fun too.

After singing snack time

After singing there were hot chocolate, saffran buns and gingerbread cookies for kids and parents. Momo-chan was dipping gingerbread to hot chocolate and Pinga was wondering if it's too sweet. Thirty minutes outdoor and Pinga felt so cold but nice to see Momo-chan and his friends perform. Then she biked to work.
