Hazelnuts

Momo-chan and Pinga was out in the garden picking cherries again. Momo-chan found hazelnuts and picked a couple.

As we know, Momo-chan likes to climb. Pinga was thinking this could be another good usage of bike helmet...

Picking cherries

Cherries in the garden are ready to eat so they used stepladder avd picked some. Momo-chan didn't eat as much as Pinga.

Climbing and hanging

It was cloudy and rainy but when they came out of daycare, it was an ok weather. So Momo-chan wanted to play a bit.

Steam liner

Momo-chan received this greetings from his bonus grandpa today. He was on the steam liner in St. Olof the other day. Reminded Momo-chan of the trip last summer.

After picking cherries

Momo-chan abs Pinga picked cherries by using this stepladder. Momo-chan said he wanted to carry this back to the storage. Good job Momo-chan!

Mischievous Momo-chan

Is Momo-chan stuck in the kitchen? No, he could come through the hole and come out. He was the last kid to be picked up at daycare but he had fun checking if everything is locked together with the teacher.

Their flight for delayed for half an hour but Momo-chan had no problem spending time as he was at executive lounge and then at this past area.

Last minutes walk

The last day in Gdańsk turned out to be grey with a bit of rain. After breakfast they went out to take a walk along the canal. Then took a bus to the airport.

Almost home

They took a train from Copenhagen to Lund and then bus. Momo-chan was full of energy and helped pushing suitcase like this.

Att the basement of the hotel, there is spa area. Sauna area can be booked privately, they voted for an hour. Here's Momo-chan relaxing before going into sauna. He was running in and out the sauna and didn't get much sweaty.

Pinga sales demonstration

Walking around they came upon this stand selling a knife that also shreds. Pinga became very interested and tried it out. This was an unusual sight so other people gathered round and someone even took a photo.

Momo-chan the sausage lover

Same theme but here's a blog entry by Pinga as well. The other was written by Pingu.
There was St. Dominic fair and many stalls were on the street. It's one of the biggest open air trade and cultural events in Europe. They bought some sausages from Lithuanian sausage shop. They could taste some and choose so that was nice. Here's Momo-chan carrying them on his back.

After dinner they went to buy some tasty sausage. The place they aimed for was closed but they found another place with Lithuanian sausages that was tasty. Momo-chan wanted to carry them home on his back like this.

Unexpected visitor

During the afternoon there were some heavy rain but luckily it ended in time for dinner. Today's dinner was at an Italian restaurant called Fellini. Today was also a special market day and there was plenty of food stands around old town. Halfway through the dinner this inflatable beer bottle fell into the door opening of the restaurant. Momo-chan was quite intrigued and wanted to push it out but was not fast enough and two men came and removed it.

Rainy day in Gdansk

It is raining today and the forecast says it may rain almost all of today. Since there is a big festival today with many food and goods stands they walked around to have a look. Along the amber street they saw these cute water statues. Most of them were shaped like dragons.

Sleepy Momo-chan

After walking a lot in Sopot,  Momo-chan fell asleep on the train back to Gdansk. Pingu carried him all the way back to the hotel and became tired too.

Full speed ahead

Momo-chan was intrigued by these electric vehicles so he got to ride one.

Katamaran

The Sopot pier has a harbour and there were at least three katamarans there. Momo-chan said he wanted to ride one.

Yesterday they took a train to the town of Sopot that is just a bit to the north west of Gdansk. It is a famous summer destination with white beaches and a long wooden pier.

Riverside crowds

The walk along the riverside in Gdansk old town was very crowded today. Momo-chan enjoyed climbing the railing.

Gdansk ferris wheel

Since it was nice weather they decided to ride the ferris wheel on the opposite side of the river from the hotel. It moved pretty fast and they thought it would be over quickly but instead they got to ride 4 full cycles.

Raspberries!

Momo-chan and Pingu walked past fresh fruit stands and couldn't resist buying these inexpensive and tasty raspberries. They finished all of them together sitting on a nearby bench.

Gdansk old town

The hotel they are staying at is in the middle of Gdansk old town. They spent quite some time strolling around and enjoying the neighborhood. This is one of the streets with lots of arts and crafts stands.

Early this morning they all flew to Gdansk in Poland. It had just stopped raining when they arrived but after that it stayed sunny and nice all day. Here is Momo-chan enjoying a chocolate soft ice cream after they had lunch.

They left home at 5:30 am and arrived in Gdansk at 9:00. To Pinga's surprise, Momo-chan didn't fall asleep on the flight and watched Laputa.

Half the Lund gathered?

There was an outdoor concert at Lund city park and there were this much people. Most of the people had picnic with them and so were Pinga and her friends.

Climbing Momo-chan

Momo-chan had an unusual day at daycare. It was just him and a teacher. It seems to be all the kids are on vacation.
After dinner, Momo-chan climbed up close to the apple tree and he wanted Pinga to see it.

They went to the frog pond but there was no frogs this evening. Pinga was wondering if it's because of time of the day or weather or...

Active Momo-chan

As it was sunny, they went out for a walk to the frog pond. Adults walked and Momo-chan biked. He had a lot of energy.

Hedgehog

Pinga found this hedgehog when she biked back home. She could go really close to it and it didn't run away.

Momo-chan did good job playing with Bolt. Here he is about to throw a twig for him to fetch.

They took a walk after the dressine ride. Momo-chan was holding Bolt's leash for a while. He didn't fall to the ground because of Bolt pulling him. Was that two years ago?

Pedalling Momo-chan ももちゃんこぎこぎ

While everyone was at a picnic table, Momo-chan went to use the bike. To Pinga's surprise, Momo-chan could actually pedal and move the dressine. Please be careful Momo-chan!

皆がピクニックをしている間に食べ終わったももちゃんは鉄道自転車に来て、こぎ始めました。驚いたことにももちゃんはこんな風にしてこぐことができました。ももちゃんは色々なことをするので目が離せません。

塔に登る Tower climbing

Momo-chan and his bonus grandpa climbed this tower by the dressine rail. It's used for hunting and also for scaring away birds.

Here's Momo-chan enjoying the ride. It can take two adults on each dressine. Momo-chan was sitting and saying "faster! " all the time.

It's Momo-chan's first time to try dressine, bicycling on old railway track. Momo-chan was very curious.

Momo-chan quickly enjoyed their harvest.

Wild raspberries

They took a walk around the summer house and unlike their expectations, found many raspberries that were ripe. Momo-chan loves them. He picked some by himself this time.

Here's Momo-chan climbing back the way they came. The weather was very nice. Sunny but not too warm.

Momo-chan almost had no problem climbing up and down the rocks. It's really interesting and beautiful beach.

Then it became like this. Going down on stones. Both Momo-chan abs Ismelda did good work and walked a lot.

Hovs Hallar

They drove to Hovs Hallar for taking a walk. Beginning of the walk was not much ups and downs.

Wild strawberries

They went to visit their friend's summer house. She welcomed them with this wild strawberry hanging pot. Momo-chan picked many. They were tasty is they were ripe. Otherwise a bit sour.

Tomatoes growing

Tomatoes they got from the neighbour are growing. Momo-chan is looking forward to reading them.

This boy was looking for someone to push the car and Momo-chan volunteered to do that.

Climbing

Momo-chan's friend likes to climb and she is good at it. Here's Momo-chan climbing like she does.

112 cm & 17.6 kg

Pinga was curious and measured Momo-chan. He was 112 cm and 17.6 kg before going to bed.

Hello Alice!

Pinga took a long walk together with her friend and Bolt. They met a couple other dogs and one of them was this miniature schnauzer Alice. She is just 18 months old and very playful.

So here's what they got. Momo-chan wants to make juice out of them but Pingu suggested making a pie.
