だるま開眼 Putting eye on daruma
ももちゃんとピンガは群馬の友人にもらっただるまに眼を入れました。ももちゃんの願いはウルトラマンエックス、そしてゼットン？!
Momo-chan and Pinga put an eye to the daruma this afternoon. They will put the other eye when their wishes come true. Momo-chan's wishes were Ultraman X and Zetton?!
Time for trick or treat
Here's Momo-chan going out with Pingu and his friends to do some "trick or treat". He put on his spiderman mant and yen his Kaijuu hat. He came back with lots of sweets.

Making pumpkin lanterns
Yesterday Momo-chan and Pingu started preparing for Halloween by making pumpkin lanterns. Pingu bought two huge pumpkins earlier this week. It was hard removing the seeds and meat inside but it was also fun drawing faces on the pumpkins.

Eel 穴子?うなぎ?
Momo-chan got excited for eel for dinner. It was actually anago (conger eel)and not unagi (eel) but Momo-chan corrected Pinga that it is unagi. Well, they do look alike.
On the way home
Pinga took this photo on her way home passing by horseriding school. It was around 16:30 and started to get dark but the pink sky was beautiful.

Momo-chan phone home
Just before boarding, Momo-chan and Pinga called Pinga patents. Momo-chan was the main speaker and Pinga didn't get to talk much. Pinga asked Momo-chan what have they talked about and he answered not sure.
Ultraman campaign
Momo-chan found this Ultraman outside of family mart. They are doing some kind of Halloween Ultraman campaign.

Hachikou statue
It was a while ago for Pinga to see this Hachikou statue and first time for Momo-chan to see it. To Pinga's surprise, he had Halloween cape on him.
Line shop
Momo-chan was happy seeing these familiar Line app characters. He rearranged hats and joined them like this.
Takeshita street
Takeshita street is a major fashion street geared towards younger crowd. Now it seems to packed with young Japanese and international tourists.
Japanese traditional wedding
Momo-chan was very curious looking at a wedding couple and asked Pinga, why do they get married?
Meiji shrine 明治神宮
They went to Meiji shrine yesterday. Amazing that they have built this from scratch for deceased emperor 96 years ago.

Hanazono shrine
Then they went to Hanazono shrine which is located in the middle of busy Shinjuku. Here they are cleaning their hands before praying.
Tokyo skyscrapers
Their Swedish friends arrived to Tokyo so Pinga and Momo-chan met up with them in Shinjuku. They started off with visiting observation room at metropolitan government office. It's located on 45th floor.

Shinkansen with Hayabusa body
Momo-chan got very excited to see this blue green Hayabusa type Shinkansen. They rode it to Omiya then lokal train to Akabane. Tired Momo-chan slept well on the Shinkansen.
Shinhanamaki station
They took Shinkansen back to Tokyo from Shinhanamaki station. Momo-chan seems to like this face open thing.
Short walk in the woods
By the memorial center, there was this walk path. It was beautiful as the leaves have started to change their color.
Kenji Miyazawa memorial hall
Kenji Miyazawa is well known for his kids books but apparently he did much more. Agricultural improvements, teaching, etc. Iwate people must be very proud of this person from the area.
Dinner time
Here's Momo-chan putting vegetables and meat into mini shabushabu pot. Many dishes and all of them were tasty.

Ryokan garden
They left their ryokan at 8:30 am. The garden was very well maintained. The leaves had just started to turn red.
Chusonji visit 中尊寺 経蔵
They went to Chusonji temple that Pinga wanted to visit for a long time. It was big and contained many buildings. This one is for keeping Buddhist scripts.

Onsen Momo-chan

一ノ関到着 Arrived in Ichinoseki
After two hours of Shinkansen ride, they have arrived in Ichinoseki. There was this Pikachu and friends at the station.
Shinkansen Yamabiko
Another Shinkansen ride for Momo-chan today this time with Pinga's mom, sister and her kids. They are heading up north to Ichinoseki.

Tired Momo-chan
Tired Momo-chan fell asleep like this shortly after getting on Shinkansen. He slept two and half hours.
新幹線 Shinkansen
They took Shinkansen from Shinkobe. Unlike Pinga's expectation, it was not that crowded.
神戸最終日 Last day in Kobe
Last day in Kobe was sunny and warm as well with 25C degrees. Here's Momo-chan playing with his friends at a playground. They were happy that it got partly into shadow as it was very warm in the sun before.

うどん屋にて Udon dinner
Momo-chan is still in Kobe. He had fun with these three girls at a mall and while having dinner.
Playing together
Momo-chan was happy playing together with these older kids. There were five kids excluding Momo-chan.
Relaxing zone
Here's Momo-chan watching TV at a relaxing zone after bathing. Momo-chan was at onsen for two hours together with Pinga and her friend.
Dr. Fish
They went to Arima onsen. There were fish that eat old skin. Momo-chan's hand was less popular than adult feet but he enjoyed ticklish feeling when fish came to his hand.

Sleepy koala
To Pinga's surprise, there were panda and koalas at this zoo. Here's Momo-chan looking at a koala. He was not that excited for panda or koala but more excited for bats, sea lions and otters.
Playful orangutan
This young orangutan played with Momo-chan and others who were standing the other side of the glass by swinging back and forth.
