IKEA visit

Today Momo-chan and Pingu went to Ikea for some shopping. After picking up the things on the shopping list, they both had hot dog and a soft ice cream, yum!

Ice cream in the sun

Tuesday afternoon was nice and sunny so Pingu and Momo-chan decided to go for a bike ride. They rode out to a nearby golf course. Their restaurant was open so they bought some ice cream and enjoyed it in the sun.

Birthday shirt

Pinga's mother sent this very nice shirt for Momo-chan as a birthday gift. Momo-chan likes it and wanted to wear it yesterday. Looking sharp Momo-chan!

Old farmhouse and candy reward

Due to the cold winds they took a candy break in the car. Momo-chan really likes these sour candies shaped like small bottles. Before they returned home they went past this old farm house that was almost falling apart. They are still using it as storage and they saw some tractors and other things.

Hello spring!

It is getting warmer and water now. Yesterday it was 12 C degrees but it was chilly because of strong winds. At the farm they visited they saw these nice flowers.

Hello lambs!

Next stop was the sheep and their lambs. Momo-chan commented that they were so white.

Hello cows!

Yesterday Pingu and Momo-chan went to visit a farm with different animals. First stop was the baby cows. Moms-chan is just like Pinga and said, I don't want to go close because it doesn't smell nice. He did admit that they were cute though.

Tired Momo-chan

Momo-chan said he was not hungry and tired. He fell asleep on the sofa like this. Later they found out that he had high fever and not feeling well. Poor Momo-chan...

Momo-chan and his sister

Momo-chan said to Pinga that he wanted to hold his sister. So here's Momo-chan holding her. They were like this for a while.

Sleeping together

As usual they were sleeping together side by side like this. It's cute that their hands/arms tangled like this.

Lille plutten

Momo-chan calls his little brother "lille plutten", tiny guy. Momo-chan came to say hello to him when he came back from grocery shopping 

Hi again robots!

On Momo-chan's birthday one of his presents was a PlayStation camera so he could once again try this game with the tiny robots. They react to what you are doing and here Momo-chan is kicking wildly while the robots are jumping and flying. Momo-chan tried it once before in Tokyo and loved it. 

Easter egg hunt

An Easter tradition is for the kids to hunt for hidden easter eggs with candy inside. With some hints, Momo-chan found his egg in the oven. Good job!

Andy and Candy?

Momo-chan likes his siblings and he goes to check on them like this. He proposed their names to be Andy and Candy. Before he and his friend proposed Ali and Dali.

Wild boar Momo-chan

After a late lunch Pingu and Momo-chan went to skrylle to take advantage of the nice weather. At the skrylle area they had this photo opportunity board. Cute wild boar Momo-chan!

Shopping car(t)

Today Pingu and Momo-chan went to Malmö for some shopping. At Ica they found this shopping car/t that Momo-chan wanted to ride even though he was too big for it.

117cm

Momo-chan is now 117cm and 19.4kg. Pinga is hoping that he reaches 120cm by this summer as they plan to go to an entertainment park but Pingu doubts it. Let's see how he grows...

6歳 Turning 6 year old

Momo-chan turned 6 today. Pinga made waffle cake to celebrate. Can you see 6 made with kiwi and blueberry bits?

Big brother love

Pingu asked if Momo-chan wanted to hold his baby brother and Momo-chan said yes. They are very cute together are they not?

Lego time!

Momo-chan received Legos from both his daycare friend and their friends that came to visit yesterday. Momo-chan is quite good at building and finished one of them without any help!

Easter cat + minecraft T-shirt

Yesterday was the last day of daycare before the Easter weekend so they did face painting. Moms-chan became a cat. Yesterday they also received a package from Pinga's aunt and uncle with nice clothes for both babies and Momo-chan. Momo-chan loves his new T-shirts, here is one with a Minecraft creeper monster on it.

I'm home!

Here's Momo-chan coming back home from daycare and saying hello to his little brother.

Visiting neonatal

Twins went to see a doctor at neonatal this morning. They are growing fine and finally discharged from neonatal. Now she weighs little over 3kg and he weighs 2.7kg.

招待状作成 Making birthday party invitation

Pingu and Momo-chan's main project yesterday was to make the invitation to Momo-chan's birthday party. Here they are putting the invitation to envelopes. Then they biked to his friends home and personally delivered them.

More flowers

Tonight they got another delivery of flowers. Because of twins it had these two cute side bouquets. These flowers came from Pinga's thoughtful colleagues.

First walk outside

It was a bit warmer today so Pingu and Momo-chan decided to take the twins out for a walk, their first actually.

Banana Momo-chan

Momo-chan is creative as usual. He put those mini blankets on his head and came to Pinga singing hus banana song.

Cat and rabbit

Inside the packages were these cat and rabbit mini blankets.

Friend visit

Their friend came to visit this afternoon. She is a mom for twins as well. Her twins are 24 year old. She came with these nice presents to them.

Green Momo-chan

Momo-chan and Pingu biked to the hospital and library after dinner. Momo-chan was looking very green like this.

White day

I guess not many non-Japanese people know about white day but March 14 is called white day in Japan. In Japan, ladies give chocolates or some kind of gift to guys. Then a month later on March 14, guys return favour and give ladies cookies, candies or some other kind of gifts. Pingu surprised Pinga with a white day gift today. It was stylish earrings. Good job Pingu! By the way, those flowers are received from Pinga's parents to twins.

Momo-chan for rescue

Momo-chan heard them crying and ran to them. Here he is trying to make them happy with music stuffed animal.

Unhappy together

As it was sunny this afternoon and sunshine made their room warm, they became warm and not happy. Pinga removed blanket and they continued to sleep.

Momo-chan setup

Momo-chan put this kaijuu to watch over his little sister and put three layers of blanket. Good job Momo-chan but it was a bit too warm this afternoon.

Afternoon nap

Twins are growing fine. The boy is over two kg when they weighed him yesterday.

Lucky yellow ninja

Momo-chan likes bath balls. Today he put the one with ninja. There are four colours and he wished for yellow one and yes, yellow one came out. He was very happy.

After the first bath

Momo-chan was helping out Pingu and Pinga with bathing twins. She was crying after the bath and Momo-chan ran to his room and got this stuffed animal with music and tried to make her happier.

Check up at the hospital

They went back to the hospital for check up. They gained weight. He is now 2002g and she is 2404g. He is 46cm and she is 49cm. Their head size is about the same.

Awake together

Twins haven't been awake much together but today they were. Here they are looking at each other.

Present for you!

Pingu and Momo-chan were in Malmö for rice and other food shopping. Momo-chan came back and told Pinga he had present for her. Very sweet of Momo-chan to come back with these turips.

Big brother Momo-chan

Momo-chan noticed one of the babies was almost crying. He said "Chotto mattene (wait a moment!)" and went into his room and got this rabbit. Then he went to get winnie the Pooh as well. Good job Momo-chan to try to make her happier

Momo-chan the dog

Momo-chan and Pingu went to visit Pingu's office and they found this dog mask. Momo-chan looked cute and scary in it at the same time.
