Presents!

Pinga's mom left presents fire Momo-chan when she left. As he has been accessed this boy, he could receive them today. Momo-chan became very happy with Shinkansen and Pokemon goods. Very nice!

お昼寝後 After afternoon nap

Here's twins after the nap. Momo-chan's sister slept all morning up until 1pm so she just slept 1.5 hours from 15:30. Momo-chan's brother didn't sleep much in the morning so he slept from 15 to 18. He woke up happily like this.

On the way to daycare

Momo-chan was active as usual from the moment he woke up. Here he is with twins on their way to daycare.

Of course, Momo-chan posed on each side of the twins. This time by his little brother.

Picking cherries again

They went to pick cherries again after the daycare. Momo-chan and Pinga found a couple of trees that have tasty cherries.

Agewonton

Inspired by her mom, Pinga made agewonton for dinner. She put pork and cheese inside. Pingu and Momo-chan liked them.

Physiotherapist appointment

The twins went to see physiotherapist this morning to check the head form. Momo-chan's brother still has problem as he tends to look mostly to the right. The physiotherapist suggested stretching neck muscle like this twice a day. She also mentioned Pinga and Pingu need to really work on this now as it will be more difficult when they get older. Momo-chan's sister is a bit flat on the left and a little bit flat on the back but nothing major.

Let's go home!

As Pinga's mom left for home, Pinga came to pick Momo-chan up from daycare with the twins. Momo-chan helped out by pushing the stroller like this. As Momo-chan is not so tall, it's not easy for him to look forward though.

Cherry picking

Momo-chan wanted to pick cherries so they went back home, brought a container for cherries. Dark coloured ones were tasty.

Let's go home

They were on their way home around for o'clock. The twins slept well on the stroller and also in the car.

At a playground

There was a playground just by the beach and of course, Momo-chan wanted to play. He has no problem making friends with other kids and had fun.

By the sea

After the lunch, they took a walk along the beach. It became sunnier.

ザリガニオープンサンド Crayfish sandwich

As Pinga's mom is leaving tomorrow, they took an excursion to Ystad. They has this crayfish sandwich for lunch at a famous bakery café. All of them liked it except for Momo-chan.

Almost dead town

As it is midsummer day and that is a national holiday, almost all the shops are closed in Lund. They just had lunch abs did some grocery shopping. While waiting outside of the grocery shop, Momo-chan wanted to climb this statue.

Strawberry cake

After the dinner was this strawberry cake made by their friends. Momo-chan and his friend wanted their own table and said that they eat outside abs adults eat inside. They did not get their way but they got to sit away from the adults like this. It looked as if they were on a date.

Pickled herring of the year

Yesterday was midsummer eve Ave they had friends over. Part of the appetizers was this pickled herring. They used Japanese ingredients, yuzu and shiso. Pinga was curious abs bought it. They were positively surprised that it was tasty.

Four months old

It's a holiday in Sweden, midsummer eve, and also the twins turned four months old today. Here are they after the bathing.

Where are you froggies?

Although the temperature was high with 27C degrees, it was not that sunny and not many frogs were there.

On the way to frog pond

On the way to the frog pond, Momo-chan posed with this memorial stone.

Momo-chan in the middle

Momo-chan came back home and put the pillow in the middle and joined the sleeping twins. Pinga was a bit worried if he would wake them up.

Here's Momo-chan's brother training his neck/back muscle. He is lifting his legs as well as his head.

低気圧の威力？Power of low pressure

Not sure if it's because of low pressure but the twins was sleeping well this morning. They woke up to drink but then went back to sleep until after 9:30 or so. As usual Momo-chan's sister slept for more than 8 hours. Momo-chan's brother slept for 6.5 hours which was unusually long for him.

Meatloaf

Pinga's mom comes up with nice menu every day. It was meatloaf for dinner today. Momo-chan liked it very well. Pinga noticed he is not much into potatoes as he is usually not interested in them and today was no exception.

After the walk

Here are the twins after the evening walk with Pingu. They came back awake but happy. Today's news was Momo-chan's sister started licking her hand/finger. Pinga's mom and Pinga were shocked to see it as they thought it was just Momo-chan's brother. So now she has mittens as well.

Gyoza and yakisoba

Pinga's mom made these gyoza (dumplings) and yakisoba for dinner. Momo-chan ate very well.

He was happily talking. Then got a bit sleepy and tried to lick his first or fingers. They are really concerned with him licking fingers and try making him use pacifier but he doesn't seem to like it.

Roll cake

Pinga's mom baked this roll cake in the morning. To Pinga's surprise, it just took 30 minutes for her. Here's Momo-chan cutting the edge of the cake to try tasting.

Surprised by the noise

Momo-chan's sister is sensitive to noise. This morning she was surprised by noise and lift her arms up but continued to sleep. So it looked like this and her arms slowly came down.

Momo-chan's siblings are awake longer time these days. They like to sit on these bouncer. Here's Momo-chan's sister changing faces for Pinga's mom.

Four month checkup

Four months checkup

The twins were at kids health center for four months checkup this morning. They are growing fine along the growth curve. Momo-chan's brother is now 6.02kg and Momo-chan's sister is 5.9kg. Both of them are 61cm. His head is 1.2cm bigger than her so they are really about the same size.
Pinga asked the midwife what to do with Momo-chan's brother licking his hand/thumb. Unfortunately she had no good solution for the problem and just said it's less of a problem if he licks whole first. It's more of a problem licking his thumb. Well... he is trying both now and Pinga and her mom are trying to let him used to a pacifier. Let's see how it goes.

Stockholm by night

After Momo-chan fell asleep Pingu and his friend sent for a walk. There is a lot of water views on Stockholm and it is nice to take a stroll along the water. 

Bubbles!

After the iron beads they also played with bubbles on the balcony.  They made really big ones!

Iron beads

While in Stockholm,  they are staying at good friends who recently moved here.  Momo-chan had lots of fun.  One of the things was to make things with the iron beads. 

Hello Stockholm!

After four hours on the train they finally reached Stockholm.  When they left Lund it was raining hard so it was very nice to come to sunny Stockholm. 

On the fast train

Momo-chan and Pingu traveled to Stockholm today.  They went with the X2000 train which is the fastest in Sweden (but still much slower than Shinkansen) .

Temakizushi

They had temakizushi dinner and Momo-chan ate well. He liked fat tuna (chuutoro) with avocado and spicy cod raw with cucumber.

Morning nap

The twins woke up around 8am but feel asleep again and took a long nap. It was cloudy and Pinga's mom said babies sleep well when the weather was like that.

Lunch guest

They had a guest for lunch and he came with Bolt. He didn't go so close to the babies.

Test driving?

Pingu and Momo-chan came by home with this electronic motor chair for disabled persons. Pingu bollowed it from one of the neighbors. Pinga tried driving it too as she had been curious how it works.

Hand ball Momo-chan

Momo-chan tried playing hand ball for the first time at this newly created hand ball court in the neighborhood. It is not easy as they needed to run in the sand.

Peacock

It was Momo-chan's first time to see Peacock up close. He asked why it has so long and colorful tale. Pinga's mom answered "he wants to show and appeal female peacocks how beautiful he is."

Sunny but not so warm

Pinga took this photo on their way to Tosselilla as she liked how the clouds looked like. Tosselilla is a small entertainment park 45 minutes drive from Lund.

から揚げ Karaage dinner

Today's dinner was karaage (Japanese fried chicken) made by Pinga's mom. Momo-chan liked it much and he ate some while she was frying them.

僕の誕生日 My birthday

It is my birthday today. If I were not in cat heaven I would have turned 18 today. Pingu and Pinga were thinking of me especially today.

Frisbee and trampoline

Momo-chan went to play with his daycare friend after daycare. Pinga tried and it was not that easy getting it in the trampoline wall.

I'm home!

Momo-chan came back home, washed his hands and said hello like this to the babies.

New terrace table

Their terrace table was quite tired and they got the same table but a new one from Pinga's parents as ten years marriage anniversary gift. Momo-chan helped Pingu assembling it before dinner.

Pinga's mom was making spring rolls and Momo-chan wanted to help making them. He rolled two of them. They were very tasty.

Started drooling

Momo-chan's sister started drooling two days ago. So Pinga put a bib on her. Momo-chan's brother hasn't started drooling yet.

Smiling together

They had a family visiting this afternoon. This family had three kids. Oldest daughter is about the same age as Momo-chan. As she has two year younger brother and five year younger baby sister, she is very good taking care of babies. Here's Momo-chan's brother smiling with her.

Momo-chan likes his siblings and he comes to them like this to post with them. Sometimes they get happy and sometimes they get scared by the noise of sudden moves he makes.
