After the airport, they came to this playarea at a mall. Momo-chan has been here when he was smaller. As there were many bigger kids, it took a while for twins to start playing in the area.

Santa Monica Airport
They thought kids recovered from the stomach sickness and finally enjoy a day but it got Pingu. So Pingu was sick at home. Pinga took three of them first to a playground then beach. But it was too chilly to be there so they came to the airport. Coco-chan was sleeping but QP-chan and Momo-chan watched small planes for a while.
French fries QP-chan
They tried to let QP-chan eat hamburger but she just went for French fries. Coco-chan was even worse and dipping flies into ranch dip and just licking the dip sauce. Come on, eat properly babies! Well, but it's not easy at a burger place...
Burger lunch
They had burger lunch after a chilly beach visit. Momo-chan enjoyed his junior burger with strawberry milkshake.

They went to the beach today. It was a bit on the chilly side and later in the afternoon it became even colder.

Santa Monica Beach again

Sick Coco-chan and Momo-chan
Both Momo-chan and Coco-chan are not feeling well. Stomach problem and more. Coco-chan didn't want to eat almost anything but he drunk well. Momo-chan ate more and drunk well. Let's hope they feel better soon and other members stay healthy.
Picnic at UCLA
Second day in LA was to meet Pinga's friends at UCLA. As it's holiday season, campus buildings were closed and not many people or cars were there. They bought sandwiches in Westwood and went to the campus. It was perfect picnic weather with nice sunshine. Momo-chan and twins had fun walking around and exploring.
Cute drink bottles
They like these drink bottles with stormtrooper and Miss Piggy. Pinga's aunt found them. As it was important for Coco-chan to drink a lot, it was great that he liked it. They learned quickly to lift the bottle to drink.

New haircut
Pinga got a haircut and this time, it seems to be ok. She hasn't been satisfied with Vancouver haircuts so let's vote it's a good one. Coco-chan was sick and wanted to be close to Pinga that's why he is in the picture as well.
Santa Monica beach
Day one of the trip, they went to Santa Monica and walked along the beach. Twins didn't like soft sand beach. But they were OK with wet sand.

Skiing Momo-chan
Momo-chan and Pinga went skiing at Cypress mountain. They took a bus aQt 8:15 and were already in the slope at 9:25. Momo-chan is getting better and faster. He found it fun to jump in the afternoon. Also he helped a snowboarder who fell badly and lost his knit hat. Pinga was happy to see that. Here's the video Pinga took in the morning.

There were these nicely decorated Christmas trees at the aquarium. Twins were very curious about them.

Momo-chan's friend came to visit from New Zealand. They were happy to reunite and has fun licking the remaining snow.

At the library
After dropping Momo-chan off at school, they went to one of the Vancouver public library branches. Pinga tried to read for them but it was not easy. QP-chan just sat down and started to draw. Coco-chan joined her. She draw something but Coco-chan was more like one or two strokes and no more.

Twins tried a music session this morning called "Jump into music." They liked having music instruments like bells and maracas.

Churros!
Momo-chan liked the churros a lot and didn't want to share it with his family members. But he shared it a bit and Coco-chan liked it too. QP-chan was just licking the sugar on top though.
Vancouver Christmas market
Vancouver Christmas market has European theme. You pay admission fee to enter and there are stalls, food stands, carousel and musician playing live music. It was Wednesday but there were many people. The queue to buy mulled wine was especially long.

Christmas at Canada place

Of course QP-chan wanted to try Momo-chan's ski helmet. She could put it on by herself. Well, first it was opposite side front so Pinga fixed that. Then she could do the rest.

As they skied nonstop, they got tired and had early lunch at 11:30. Momo-chan was this happy with his hot chocolate.

Momo-chan could get up early in time for a ski shuttle bus which leaves downtown at 8:15. There were not as many people as last Sunday.

Oven training?
Twins can have fun with many things and oven is not an exception. Here they are hanging from the oven handle.
Newly baked cookies
If you see closely you can see the ones done by Coco-chan and QP-chan. Coco-chan tried one. He had a small bite, then he took another one and made a bite mark. He kept taking new ones and not finish eating them. Eat properly Coco-chan!
At the school yard
They went to pick Momo-chan up at school around 15. Twins has fun with their friends too. They were observing, then playing a bit and eating snacks.
