24 months clothes

QP-chan tried on this. It was not very big but little bit loose and long. It has cute detail on the back. 

New friends

Those cute talking toys were in the box. Twins were very curious. Very nice! 

Package arrived

Package from USA arrived this afternoon and the twins were very curious. Coco-chan wanted to lift it by himself but it was a bit too heavy for him. 

QP-chan wants to climb

QP-chan wants to go up to the sofa. She can almost do it herself but not completely. 

Scrum master course

Pinga is working hard on job search. She is taking a course related to software development method. When she's done with this two days course and pass the exam, she will be certified as a scrum master. Good luck Pinga!

They were at a lounge at Fairmont hotel Pacific Rim thus evening. QP-chan fell asleep on the way but Coco-chan was exploring. One of the wait staff came and talked to Coco-chan. It looked like Coco-chan was ordering something from the menu. 

Happy together

These are twins after lunch. They were happily sitting together on roles carpets. Yes, they still have many boxes... 

English Bay in the evening

They took a walk to English Bay after dinner. There were so many people. QP-chan fell asleep on the stroller but Coco-chan was walking around together with Momo-chan. 

After school

After school is fun for not only for Momo-chan but also for the twins. They get to walk and play with older kids. Japanese or half Japanese kids especially girls are very kind and good at taking care of smaller kids.

For some reason, QP-chan and Coco-chan like to be in this shelf. They took turn and went into this shelf. 

Anniversary flowers

Not only did they enjoy a tasty tonkatsu dinner yesterday, because it was Pingu and Pinga anniversary Pingu brought flowers. There was a large bouquet and three small ones for the children. Coco-chan was using it mostly to hit the sofa so hard to take a photo. 

15 months old

Today they became 15 months old. QP-chan was hugging Coco-chan so Pinga wanted to take a photo but then they noticed her and crawled to her like this. Coco-chan can walk quite well. QP-chan can walk quite ok if you hold both her hands. They normally sleep once a day. They usually wake up once or twice during night. Coco-chan started to have runny nose today so let's see how well he can sleep tonight. 

Playground fun

As twins slept well after the playtime, they were awake when they went to pick Momo-chan up at school. They were there until around 17. This 11 year old girl took very good care of both of the twins. She took care of Coco-chan before too while QP-chan was taking a nap.

Playtime at church

Pinga heard from one of the Japanese moms about this toddlers gathering and decided to try it out. There were many kids and lots of toys. Circle time with singing was nice too. 

Physiotherapy Tuesday

Tuesday is Pinga's physiotherapy day. She gets laser treatment, massage, and low-frequency simulation like this. Her right thumb is moving much better now but still a bit stiff with some movements. 

夕飯はとんかつ Tonkatsu dinner

It was 11th wedding anniversary for Pingu and Pinga. They had sparking wine and tonkatsu for dinner. Momo-chan liked it and ate well. He had Calpis instead of wine. 

Wide awake QP-chan

It's 10pm but QP-chan is not sleepy and happily standing like this. 

King Coco-chan

Coco-chan loves this wooden honey spoon. He would not let go of it even when drinking milk. It looks like a spire for a king. 

Computer work

All the kids became interested in Pingu's laptop that was open on the sofa table. Coco-chan is especially quick and likes to hit as many keys as he can.

Big blue ice cream

Momo-chan chose thus blue ice cream. The flavor is "cotton candy". He chose mini marshmallows and gummy bears to blend in. It was a bit too big for him but he enjoyed it. 

Linking up for ice cream

After the park, they went to have ice cream. There was a long line and also stairs inside the ship. Pinga wondered what to do with twins in the stroller. Then a kind mom with a toddler offered to look after them while they shop.very nice ! The line was long but they came back before the twins woke up. 

English Bay

Just like yesterday, Momo-chan wanted to go into the water while the twins were taking a nap. He had two friends to play with urstark but he was alone today. Pinga kept close look on him though. 

Watch out for bikers

They took a walk to Stanley Park and add usual there were geese families. They were out of the pond strolling around and went onto a bike path. Be careful for bikes! 

Lynn canyon suspension bridge

Today they met up with some friends visiting from Finland. They have twin boys that are a year older than Momo-chan. They started out visiting Lynn canyon Park in North Vancouver. Excellent weather and a long weekend meant a lot of people in the park. The suspension bridge was the most crowded spot. It was swinging a bit when they walked across.

What's in the oven?

Two days in a row, Coco-chan took a nap at 10am and QP-chan fell asleep at 15. They are in a different cycle. So while Coco-chan was asleep, Pinga did her first baking project. She made this pumpkin cake. Momo-chan and QP-chan likes it but Coco-chan didn't. 

At the park

It's getting more and more difficult for Pinga as Coco-chan walks around and QP-chan stands up and crawl. In this picture, Pinga was with QP-chan and Pinga's friend was with Coco-chan. Momo-chan was throwing Frisbee with his friend on a small hill behind QP-chan. 

Picking Momo-chan up

Twins and Pinga need to be at school at 15 to pick Momo-chan up. Then he usually plays at the playground at the school. Then they leave for home. He played about an hour as he had a play date at Coal Harbor park.

Coco-chan is improving his walk day by day. He was actively walking around at the playground. Momo-chan took QP-chan and Coco-chan for sliding. 

Dropping off Momo-chan

Thus is where Pinga and twins say goodbye to Momo-chan at school. Can you see Momo-chan in the yellow pants by the Wall? Monday and Thursday start with gym class for Momo-chan. 

In the morning

This was taken judt before leaving home for Momo-chan's school. Twins were in the box and Momo-chan was pushing it. They seemed to like it. 

Bathing together

It was their first time bathing together. QP-chan was in the bath and Coco-chan came and seemed to want to join. So Pinga made them bathe together and they had fun. 

Playground fun

While QP-chan was sleeping in the stroller, Coco-chan had lots of fun with Momo-chan and his friends. He enjoyed going down the slider and walked or crawled around.

Finally internet connection!!

A guy from Shaw communication came this afternoon and they finally got connected to Internet. The twins were really curious and checked on him all the time. 

After one hour

They came back like this. The twins were quite unhappy and after a while of complaining, they feel asleep. 

Let's go bike ride

After dinner, twins followed Pingu and Momo-chan for bike ride. It's their second time sitting in this wagon thing. They were very curious. 

Go Momo-chan!

Tuesday is Momo-chan's indoor hockey day. Twins were curiously watching the boys play.

Canada geese family

Near the pond of Stanley Park, Pinga saw this geese family. Twin babies were fluffy and still a bit yellow. Happy mother's day! 

Stanley Park

It was rainy and cold this morning but got much beget in the afternoon. So Pinga went for a walk with twins. Coco-chan quickly fell asleep but QP-chan was wide awake for a while. She fell asleep 45 minutes after Coco-chan. 

Climbing take 2

Momo-chan loved climbing the other weekend so they went back again this weekend. Momo-chan climbed faster and higher than last time. Good job!

This is the view from their new place. When is clear, they can see lights of North Vancouver as well. 

Scenic bike ride around Stanley Park

Pingu, Momo-chan, Coco-chan and QP-chan biked around Stanley Park after dinner tonight. It was fantastic weather and they made it around the park and back to the apartment in one hour. The twins were a bit unhappy towards the end but they were ok.

Walking Coco-chan

Pinga came back home and found Coco-chan walking towards her. He walked more than ten steps! Pinga wants to capture a video tomorrow.

It was the last day of course for Pinga. The course was held at the sixth floor of British Columbia Institute of Technology and this is the view from there. Now Pinga needs to study more and take the PMP exam soon.

Momo-chan came out of the community center and called Pinga as he found a rainbow. 

Aikido Momo-chan: part II

Aikido Momo-chan

Momo-chan tried aikido for the first time at the Coal Harbor community center this afternoon. Momo-chan is the one wearing black t-shirt. It's a good opportunity for him to learn manners and disciplines together with some aikido movements. 

QP-chan, the fashion model

QP-chan has started to do this thing where she puts a piece of clothing around her neck. Looks like she is styling herself and showing off. Cute!
