Cozy Saturday morning

All three of them came to the Pingu and Pinga bed and had a cozy moment. 

Exploring the lobby

Pingu works at this building and while they waited Pingu, they watched fish and automatic door that opened and closed. Then Pingu came but they wanted to explore more of the lobby so they refused to go back on the stroller. QP-chan walked away and Coco-chan followed. 

Koi (carp)

They were at Telus garden building. At the lobby, there are these koi fish. They enjoyed watching them. 

Good morning QP-chan

Coco-chan usually wakes up earlier than QP-chan but today QP-chan woke up before him. She woke up and walked to the door and stood like this. 

Soccer Momo-chan

Momo-chan joined soccer session at the community center this afternoon. The instructor was Japanese. He liked it and said he would come back next week. 

Hello seagull!

After the playground they moved to the beach. Twins had fun with sand. 

Indian summer?

Pinga learned recently about a phrase "Indian summer" which means unseasonably warm, dry and calm weather, usually following a period of colder weather or frost in the late Autumn. Well, it's not late autumn but anyways...  It has been chilly and rainy but it was warm and sunny like summer today with the temperature of 25 degrees. So Pinga decided to take twins to Second Beach. 

Playtime in the gym hall

Twins went to a playtime at the community center this morning. Thid time, it was more for bigger toddlers. There were many vehicles and mini sliders. They had a lot of fun. 

Little helpers?!

As usual, twins wanted to help out emptying the dishwasher. Coco-chan started it and QP-chan joined. Coco-chan really helped but QP-chan was half helping and half playing. No, please don't put it in your mouth QP-chan! 

Where to?

QP-chan likes to put things on. She found hats so she tried them on. Coco-chan was inspired by QP-chan and put on a hat as well. 

Fall color

Since last week, it's getting colder and some of the leaves have turned red and yellow. 

19 months old

Twins turned 19 months old today. They can say "mamma" and they seem to understand sentences like "can you pick that up?" or "where is Momo-chan?" 

Swinging

They went to Coal Harbor park in the afternoon. It's getting chilly these days but it was 18 degrees then. QP-chan likes to be on a swing. Coco-chan is usually not interested in it. 

Racoon!

Vancouver is full of squirrels and Pingu sees many every time he walks to Stanley Park. This is the second racoon he has seen since coming to Vancouver so he was happy to get a photo opportunity. 

At the pier

After having dinner, they walked around the pier a bit. Momo-chan was concerned about twins safety and said he'd keep an eye on them. But he got so easily distracted. Good try Momo-chan though. 

Mac & cheese and pakora

Pingu went to order macaroni and cheese. Pinga went to buy pakora with Momo-chan. They received sample to try and Momo-chan liked it. Here's Coco-chan pointing and demanding more food. He likes both dishes. QP-chan liked mac & cheese more. 

Sea bus to North Vancouver

Momo-chan had no school today because of teacher training. They decided to go to night market in North Vancouver. It was 6pm so the sea bus was full of people.

Immunization tiredness

After dinner, twins fell asleep like this on the sofa. It seems like the immunization spot made them tired and drowsy.

Photographer QP-chan?

Twins got 18 months immunization shot this afternoon. It d planned at 13 but there were other patients and it became 1330. So the twins hem asleep and woken up to get a shot. It went on but QP-chan couldn't fall asleep again. QP-chan wanted to play with Pinga's phone and she somehow unlocked the phone and took some photos. This photo is one of them. 

At a school yard

They went to pick Momo-chan up at his school today. Twins had fun with Momo-chan's friends. It was not raining but just 14 degrees and kind of chilly.

Mermaid QP-chan

QP-chan was trying to put her pants on by herself but Boothe legs went into one and she likes like a mermaid. Pinga took a video too.

Drawing time

Just like last week, Coco-chan wanted to draw. QP-chan is not so much into drawing as Coco-chan. 

Story time again

They went to nearby library's story time again. It would be more suitable if they are older but they say it's from 18 months and older.

Plan after the story time was immunization shots at the clinic but they called 15 minutes before the appointment and canceled it. Pinga found it annoying but there was not much she could do so it was rescheduled to Thursday. 

Bath time

All of them took a bath together this evening and they had much fun. It was 15 degrees and cold today so warm bath was nice. 

Yoga mat

Therea something about yoga mat that attracts kids. 

Yoga family

Pinga came back from yoga session and Momo-chan wanted to do some yoga. So they were doing a bit of yoga and the twins were on the yoga mat as well. 

At the playground

Twins are at the playground twice today. In the morning they were at Second beach. As usual, QP-chan enjoyed swinging. 

Squirrel

Pinga took twins out for a walk in the afternoon and found this squirrel. Can you spot it from the photo? 

After the noodle lunch

Momo-chan was sick and stayed home today. He gradually felt better and by the lunch time, his smile was back. They had soumen noodle for lunch. Coco-chan ate extra well. Twins had noodles all over their body. 

At the school yard

There was BBQ and teacher introduction event at Momo-chan's school this afternoon. Twins visited there as well. QP-chan really likes to hang like this these days.

They found out Momo-chan's teacher to be will be hired in any minutes. So Momo-chan has a teacher retired this summer but called in for help. He had very good reputation but he will be replaced with the new grad teacher soon.

Momo-chan painted this picture yesterday. He asked Pinga to take his friends paintings as well. 

Hanging twins

QP-chan loves to hang. Here Coco-chan was doing it too. They were at the playground around 17 and it was not so warm as it was entirely in the shade. 

Drawing time

After the story time, Coco-chan wanted to draw. So they did that a bit. Then they started to throw crayons on the floor so Pinga decided to leave. 

Story time

Pinga took the twins for a story time at the library. It's their first time being at a library and not in the stroller. As you can see, QP-chan and Coco-chan were sometimes looking at wrong directions d doing something else but they had fun being there. 

Swinging QP-chan

QP-chan likes swing a lot. She went on and off the swing for four times or so. Coco-chan was in it just once. This playground has four baby swings which are many! 

At the playground

Momo-chan has played here but it was twins first time to play here. They met their friend and he was kind to them. 

From Coco-chan to QP-chan

When Pinga asks Coco-chan to share things with QP-chan, he does. He delivers snack for her. Here he is handing a small baby cookie for QP-chan. 

Getting dark earlier

They went to the playground after dinner. It's getting dark earlier so just before 8pm, it got quite dark. Momo-chan wanted to play more but they came back home as it was difficult to see. 

Spider on Momo-chan

Balloon unicorns

Pinga asked balloon person to make two unicorns for twins. Here's QP-chan with them. Unfortunately unicorns didn''t keep their shape for a long time as they are squeezed by the twins. 

Face painting

Next to the balloon corner was gave painting. Momo-chan wanted to do it but his friend didn't.

Then they had some juice and went to balloon corner. Momo-chan and his friends asked for balloon swords. 

West End fest

There was a community festival today. As it was rainy, it became indoor at the community center. First they enjoyed bouncy castle. 

Bath duck fun

QP-chan started doing this with a small duck. Then she did it with a big duck as well. They had fun for a while like this. 

Two little admirers

Here is Momo-chan with his little admirers. Twins are very interested in whatever Momo-chan is doing. 

Raamen twins

Today's lunch was raamen. They seem to like noodles. Coco-chan are cleaner and a lot more than QP-chan. 

Nap time

After playing, twins slept very well for almost two hours. 

Baby time at community center

They attended baby time session at Coal Harbour community center this afternoon. They arrived sleepy but they got active and enjoyed playing there for an hour and 45 minutes. The person responsible for the session was Japanese and there were two Japanese moms with their kids there too. 

Coal Harbour Park

After the water park was playground at Coal Harbour Park. Twins woke up from their nap and had fun together. Pinga met a mom and two sons who moved from Tokyo in April. They exchanged info regarding daycare situation. Her kids are two and three years old. 

Water park

Momo-chan couldn't sleep well last night so Pinga wanted to have lots of activities for him today. They went to water park. There was no one except for Momo-chan playing with water but Momo-chan did.
