Trick or treat?

Momo-chan was with Pingu found trick or treat. So Pinga took the twins out for that. Here are twins doing their very first trick or treat session. They walked quite well. The stairs at entrance of the houses were tough though. 

Cookie monster by the fish tank

Some of the staff were wearing costumes at the aquarium. Pinga's favorite was this cookie monster. She was explaining how they feed and which fish are what and so on. Can you see a diver in the tank feeding the fish? 

Hello duckies!

Twins were very curious about these ducks. Most of them were sleeping. Coco-chan wanted to watch them from a safe distance. On the contrary, QP-chan wanted to step into the pond and be close to them. 

Japanese Canadian War memorial

From the Google map, Pinga learned about this memorial for Japanese Canadians just by the aquarium. 

Let's go to aquarium

The playground was so close to aquarium and they needed to go to a bathroom, they decided to go to aquarium again.

As it was sunny, Pinga took them to a playground at Stanly Park. 

Halloween morning

It's twins first Halloween. They dressed up as a pumpkin and tiger. Their friends was a bee. 

Happy Halloween!

Pingu and Momo-chan decorated the balcony last night with two carved pumpkins. Pinga thought Momo-chan's design, on the right, is cute. 

Tsunami debris

There was a display on tsunami debris from 2011. It was quite interesting for Pinga as she is from Japan. 

Vending machines

Of course, they checked out vending machines too. 

Public telephones

For the twins, everything seems to be interesting. They just checked public phones. Somehow they understood they are telephones. 

Penguins

Pinga noticed some penguins like king and emperor penguins are taller than Coco-chan. There were African penguins there at Vancouver aquarium. 

At Stanley Park

First Pinga thought of playground but she couldn't find it so they changed their destination to aquarium. So here they are on their way to aquarium. QP-chan got tired but Coco-chan walked quite a lot to the aquarium. 

Dracula Momo-chan

This was taken on their way to Momo-chan school this morning. Momo-chan said his jaw got tired after a while though. 

At the playground

While waiting for Momo-chan, twins were at the playground. QP-chan wanted to seeing as usual. This little girl came abs started to push her. She is five and she has a little sister who is seven month old. Very nice but sister she has. 

Rhythmic gymnastics

Momo-chan tried rhythmic gymnastics session today at community center. Twins and Pinga saw the last ten minutes and they were jumping rope like this. Momo-chan liked it and said he wants to come back. 

Huge leaf

Momo-chan got this scar gave painting at the Halloween event. Coming back home after playing at the school playground he found this huge leaf and he wanted to keep it. 

Seawall afternoon walk

Pingu took the twins for a walk this afternoon. It was great weather and he even walked just wearing a t-shirt because it was so warm in the sun. 

Pumpkin QP-chan

We are a couple of days away from Halloween. Pinga came home with this pumpkin costume. QP-chan likes to try things on and did so with the outfit. The hat was a bit small though. 

Zombie cookie

Here's Momo-chan decorating a cookie with bug gummy and so on. He ate just a bit and gave it to Pinga. She thought it's quite tasty. 

Mommy bowling

There were activities and one of them was this mommy bowling. Momo-chan knocked all of them off with one throw. Good job Momo-chan! 

Halloween event

Momo-chan and Pinga were at the community center for Halloween event this morning. Halloween is a bug thing in North America. Here is Momo-chan at the entrance of the center. 

Sunny but wet

After dropping Momo-chan off at school, they went to Coal Harbour Park to play. Although it was sunny, all the things at the playground were wet from morning dew and the twins didn't like it. They need to touch them with their hands when they go up the stairs and so on and they just did not enjoy it. Also, the playground was in the shade and not warm so Pinga decided to leave for home. They are recovering from cold but still runny nose and coughing.

Beautiful yellow colour

There were very many fallen leaves and also still on the trees.

Learning about birds?

They checked this important birds area notice board together. 

Swinging together

Not only QP-chan but Coco-chan wanted to be on a swing as well. 

Sunny = playground

It was very rainy last week. It's ok weather this week but the twins have been sick. They were recovering so Pinga decided to take them to playground by Second Beach. 

QP-chan and red leaf

As red leaves were beautiful, Pinga picked up some and gave them to twins. QP-chan started to bite on it. Were you hungry QP-chan? 

Go canucks go!

Pingu went to watch the local ice hockey team, Vancouver canucks, play Washington DC capitols. It was a work event and the seating was in the VIP area. Excellent food and drinks! Pingu enjoyed it a lot and the canucks won 6 to 1. 

Bouncy castle

Craft was at the same room as playtime. So twins tried the bouncy castle for the first time. It was a bit too early for them and they stayed like this for a while and came out. 

Halloween craft

Pinga registered Momo-chan for Halloween themed craft time at community center. Momo-chan enjoyed drawing and twins were curious what ge was doing.

Autumn colors

On the way back from Momo-chan's school, they passed under purple and red leaves. Coco-chan was feeling better than yesterday and had more energy but the rash appeared on his body so Pinga took him to the doctor. The diagnosis was viral rash after high fever. No need to worry but to back to see him if his condition gets worse. 

Sick twins

Out stayed with QP-chan having runny nose. Then Coco-chan got it too. He had fever and couldn't sleep well Sunday night. Today QP-chan started coughing. Let's hope Momo-chan doesn't get sick as well. 

Being cozy or?

Coco-chan was on top of QP-chan like this on the sofa. QP-chan didn't like it much though. 

Shark Momo-chan

Momo-chan was wearing this shark costume for a while. He tried on penguin one as well.

Shark feed

There was a shark feed show so they went to see it. There were sting rats and sea turtle in the tank as well. 

Aquarium again

Momo-chan and Pinga visited the aquarium two days in a row as he loved it. The first thing he wanted to see was, of course,  these stung rays. Can you see Momo-chan in purple t-shirt? 

Matching pajamas

Twins had matching Mickey pajamas. Momo-chan had one of them one day and the other, next day. But they use them at once so it's a but different. 

Momo-chan's highlight - stingrays

At the ray corner, you can touch the stingrays. Here's Momo-chan touching them with two fingers. He told Pinga his favorite was stingrays. 

Pinga's highlight - sea otter

While twins were taking nap, Momo-chan and Pinga saw the staff training sea otters. They ate lots of squids during the training. 

Dolphin and orca

The sky cleared up in the afternoon. They watched a bit of dolphin and orca show. 

Jellyfish

Animal rescue junior staff

Here's QP-chan with animal rescue staff apron. Later they heard from the aquarium staff they are taking care of 77 seals and other animals. That is quite many.

Fascinated Coco-chan

There are nice kids area in the aquarium. You can just park a stroller and be in this kids corner called crown fish cove. There is mini fish tank, animal rescue corner, touching star fish, and so on. 

To the aquarium

Add Momo-chan had i ni school today, they went to aquarium. Yellow and red leaves are nice but it was raining heavily on the way there.

Momo-chan drew these at after school activity place. Pinga thought unicorn cow is quite interesting. Also the wizard, upper left corner, is very well drawn.

Twins had soumen noodle for lunch. They liked it and ate well. Here's Coco-chan saying he wants more.
