Blue raspberry cotton candy

Momo-chan saw some people having cotton candy and found the wagon that sells them. He was so happy getting this big cotton candy. There were flavors like pink vanilla, apple, cherry and Momo-chan picked blue raspberry. It didn't taste much of raspberry but he enjoyed it. 

Very long queue at Stanley Park

This was the line to buy tickets for Easter activities such as egg hunt and Easter train. The queue was just too long, Momo-chan and Pinga decided to go to the aquarium instead. Momo-chan has chocolate in his mouth that's why his cheek is popped like this.

Egg shaker

Another thing she made was these shakers. There are red beans and rice inside so they make noise when they shake. As Pinga suspected, QP-chan started to peel the tape and opened the egg by the time they got home. Coco-chan did the same.

Easter craft time

Pinga was at her friend's place decorating egg like this. Twins fell asleep just before arriving so she had a calm moment with other moms. 

Last day at Aqua camp

As Friday is a holiday, it was Momo-chan's last day at Aqua camp. It was costume day so Momo-chan was dressed in storm trooper outfit. And his group leader had a shiny fish hat on. Momo-chan seemed to enjoy Aqua camp and made some new friends.

Woodblock twins

To the aquarium

Momo-chan is participating aqua camp at Vancouver aquarium this week. Here's Momo-chan biking to the aquarium. Both yesterday and today, it was raining heavily when they were on the way. Momo-chan had fun looking at sea otters and other animals yesterday. Today's highlight according to Momo-chan was dissecting herring.

In the morning, twins usually come to the elevator hall to say good bye to Momo-chan and Pinga. 

Samurai swords and shuriken

Here's Momo-chan so excited to find these swords from Pinga's parents. They even came with two shuriken and kunai. 

One book each

Not only Momo-chan but also twins for to open presents. They are all so happy thanks to Pinga's sister. 

Happy birthday Momo-chan

Momo-chan turned right today. They celebrated with a cake. Momo-chan didn't like the NY style cheesecake a lot though. 

Happy hour with Momo-chan

Momo-chan likes mussels dish at this restaurant. So Momo-chan and Pinga went for happy hour. Because of the periodontal surgery on Wednesday Pinga couldn't drink but she enjoyed quality time with Momo-chan. He was happy with the mussels and he wanted to order another one. 

Music event

After the office visit, they came to this music event called Hear it live at Robson and Howe. It was close to 4pm but twins still didn't fall asleep. 

Foosball for the first time

They took a walk and visited Pinga's work. There was a foosball table and off course Momo-chan wanted to play. He was playing with Pinga's colleague and twins joined a bit too. 

Japanese noodle lunch

Momo-chan went to visit his friend for lunch so they came back and had some lunch. Twins ate soumen with egg and furikake well. 

Cookie decoration

As usual, there was a station to decorate cookies. Today's cookies were egg shaped. Here's Coco-chan about to put on some more stuff on his cookie. They were OK with decorating but not interested at eating them. 

Easter carnival

They were at Coal Harbor community center for the water kids event. Here's Momo-chan playing a game called bunny ear drop. Twins had fun too. 

Morning hug

Just when Momo-chan and Pinga was about to leave, QP-chan woke up. She was sleepy but hugged Pinga and then Momo-chan. Very sweet!

Ukulele fun

Nanny for twins is taking ukulele lessons. She let the twins play with her ukulele a bit.

Twins are like me. When there's a box, they go in. Pinga was a bit surprised when the train boots came out from the box though. 

Spring break started

Momo-chan is off from school for two weeks. It was his first day at day camp. As it was sunny, they went to Stanley Park. Momo-chan was busy and didn't eat much snack. 

Spring is here!

Pinga is suffering from ceder pollen. But twins had fun walking around English Bay.

Bubble machine fun

They went to see a house in North Vancouver. After that, they had fun at the Quay market square hunting for bubbles.

One year since the move

It has been a year since they moved to Vancouver. Here are some photos from last year when they flew via London to Vancouver. They have grown a lot. 

Sunny Friday

It was their fifth day with their new nanny. As it was sunny, they went to English Bay. Here are they enjoying snack on a bench. 

Relaxed Leo

Pinga is happy to pet shibainu Leo from time to time at work. He is quite peaceful. 

Italian class

Pinga has Italian lessons on Wednesday evenings. At the back of the textbook is this map of Italy. She was thinking of her Italian friends. Intermediate Italian course is getting more and more difficult by the way. Today she learned Come rimaniamo? Hai già...? Etc. 

Lego twins

Twins can build with Lego dupro now. Coco-chan came to show Pinga what he built. Pinga told him to show it to Pingu so he did. QP-chan can do it all too. 

Matching pajamas

Twins are getting bigger. Now they can wear size 92cm. They were happy with these matching Star Wars pajamas this evening. 

House showing fun

As they need to move our from the current apartment, they have been trying to find a place to move to. This morning, they went to see a townhouse in Burnaby. It's a three stories house and kids had fun on the stairs. 

Trying to get ready

QP-chan is getting better at dressing herself. When they were about to go out, she went half in to the overall like this. Unfortunately she didn't need to put on an overall this time. 

Sunny day

It was very rainy yesterday but today, it was sunny like this and you could see Noth Vancouver. Pinga got to walk more today as she had periodontic surgery in the afternoon. It was a minor surgery but she needs to ice every hour, no hot drinks, no alcohol and no exercise for a week.

Mini Husky Evy

Here is the second dog at Pinga's work. Evy is very protective and does not like new people. After two weeks, she is finally fine with Pinga and stopped barking.

100 years old Momo-chan

There was a mini International Women's day event at Momo-chan's class. As Momo-chan was away from school for 3 days, he did not have drawings for the occasion but he had this one that he drew last week. This is Momo-chan as 100 years old. He will be looking young, stylish and shiny!

At the top of 7th Heaven

It was great weather. They took Peak 2 Peak gondola and went to Blackcomb side. Pinga wanted to take the 7the Heaven lift. On top of the lift was a great view and this stone person.

Sleepy twins in the morning

It's last day in Whistler. Twins were sleeping side by side like this.

Speed demon Momo-chan

Today was their second ski day in Whistler. Momo-chan was very energetic and enjoyed skiing a lot. It was nice and sunny and Momo-chan tried ski jumps several times.

It was cloudy but not very many people and good skiing. Pinga was feeling very cold in her hands and toes though.

After dinner, they took a walk to gondola station. QP-chan enjoyed walking but for some reason Coco-chan didn't want to walk and wanted to be carried. He walked at the end and enjoyed throwing snow balls.

They left Vancouver for Whistler Sunday afternoon. Twins are very curious taking things out from the suitcase. When it was closed, they were standing and sitting on it like this.

Funny face Momo-chan

Momo-chan was holding Pinga's new ski poles. He enjoyed using them in many different ways. 

Foggy afternoon

Momo-chan and Pinga went skiing at Grouse Mountain again. In the morning, there were less people and sunny. It was like this and very difficult to see in the afternoon.

They went to Grouse mountain to exchange their lift passes. Twins were quite curious about these grizzly bear photos and did vow vow. Coco-chan does this dog noise when seeing sea otter too.

Momo-chan was watching cartoon after dinner and twins just went and sit together with him like this. 

Day 3 with nanny

Twins are with nanny since Tuesday. As it was sunny she took them for a walk. They seem to be enjoying time with her.
