Birthday party

Momo-chan was invited to his favorite friend's birthday party. There were five boys and they all love Pokémon. So here's Pokémon themed game. Blind folded Momo-chan trying to put Pokémon ball close to Pikachu.

Shopping helpers

Twins wanted to go out with Pinga after dinner. Destination was Safeway. Here's twins pushing the cart.

Breakfast Coco-chan

As usual, Coco-chan woke up first. Then Momo-chan woke up. Pinga called for breakfast and Coco-chan lined up his cars and placed his favorite key chain and Winnie the Pooh. He ate well and finished two slices of French toast.

Come geese come!

Twins were at Stanley park. They saw lots of geese and called them to come closer.

Feeding Moomin and Pingu

Twins like to take care of their little friends. It was mainly QP-chan doing that before but Coco-chan does that too these days.

Yakisoba lunch

Coco-chan is getting more and more opinionated. He refuses to eat something he doesn't like that day. But he loved yakisoba lunch and asked for more.

Playtime at church

As usual, they were at church for playtime. They liked to draw, play at a kitchen and take care of Elmo.

Stanley park

Their nanny took them to Stanley park this morning. It's not so great weather but not raining so they can still enjoy outside. When QP-chan didn't want to walk, Coco-chan cheered her up and said Mii aaku. Aruku is walk in Japanese. Good job Coco-chan!

Good morning Coco-chan

Coco-chan woke up happy. He likes this Pingu and goes to bed together these days. Also he picks up Winnie the Pooh in the morning and put them in front of him while he eats breakfast.

Crazy hair day

Momo-chan's class has events this week. To start off, it was crazy hair or hat day. Pinga made this spiky hair and colored it with red and green color.

Lighthouse park

As it was sunny, they decided to drive to the lighthouse park in West Vancouver. It was not an easy walk with the stroller. Also, this was the closest you can go to the lighthouse. They met two Swedish families and Momo-chan had fun with their kids looking for flowers. He moved so fast that Pinga couldn't take photos of him. The weather changed and it started to rain on the way back to the car.

Swedish/Scandinavian sweets

At the midsummer event, there were vendors selling Scandinavian sweet. Momo-chan wanted Per Tutti but it was sold out. Pinga bought this marmalade jellies thinking of her friend who likes it a lot.

Midsummer pole rising

After the midsummer pole was raised, Pinga and the twins danced around it to their favorite song "små grodorna". 

Train ride to the midsummer festival

The sky train comes in causing a strong wind and smiles on the twins. They are on their way to the midsummer festival at the Vancouver Scandinavian community Centre. 

Rising ringettes

The second game was to pick up rings with hockey sticks. Momo-chan quickly picke a ring up.

Sports day

It was sports day at Momo-chan's school. Students were wearing black, red, green and blue colors. Momo-chan was in green team. Here they are carrying egg on a spoon. Momo-chan was good and quick.

After the church

Twins had fun at church but they were tired like this afterward.

Water park fun

Twins were at the water park in Stanley park. They had a lot of fun.

Summer weather

As it was still warm like 25C degrees after dinners, they went to the water park. They had much fun.

Sunny and happy

It was very sunny. They were out walking and went to the water park. On the way back home, Coco-chan was talking. Here's the video.

New word from Coco-chan today was "kawaii", cute in Japanese.

Farewell party

They were invited to Pinga's friends farewell party. They are from Italy but leaving Vancouver to Christ Church in New Zealand. It was perfect weather for outside party and kids had fun too.

Step experiment?

Pinga's colleague had an idea to experiment. That was to put A step counter on one of the dogs and see if the count increases. Eevie was selected as she is more active than Leo. Can you see Pinga's step counter on her harness? She walked about 5000 steps during the day. Good job Eevie!

Puppet show at the library

Twins were at the library for a puppet show and story time. Coco-chan was very interested in the show whereas QP-chan was more interested in kids and people around her.

Sleepy QP-chan

Coco-chan usually wakes up before QP-chan but today, QP-chan woke up first. She was holding the bear and called Pinga. As it was before 8 am, after cuddling with Pinga on the sofa, she fell asleep like this and slept for a while.

Hello butterfly

It was rainy in the morning but cleared up in the afternoon. They went to see horses at the Stanley park. On the way back, they saw this butterfly. They seem to use the easiest words among three languages. For example, butterfly is in Japanese, "choucho". Other Japanese words are "Koko" here, "acchi" there, "nai" not here, "atsui/achi" hot, and QP-chan started to say often recently "hai" yes. A car is "bil" which is in Swedish. They use English words as well such as mine, come, and bye.

Coal Harbour park in the morning

They met their friend on the way to the playground. So they decided to play together. Twins had much fun with their one year older friend.

Are you ok bear?

QP-chan brings the bear with her even when she goes potty training. She put the bear just next to her like this.

New way of swinging?

It was sunny so they were at Momo-chan's school this afternoon.they like to do this like bigger kids.

After dinner

They were happy together after dinner. QP-chan learned to do peace sign somehow.

Sleepy twins

Coming back from a walk with Pinga, the twins are still not ready to wake up. 

Coal Harbour

They were expecting rain but it was not raining. Pings took twins out for a walk as Momo-chan was still recovering from stomach sickness. It's usually Coco-chan who falls asleep quickly. But today it was opposition and QP-chan fell asleep and Coco-chan was up another half an hour. QP-chan enjoyed watching Harbour Air airplanes landing.

Swing it, Coco-chan!

Pingu took twins to the school playground this morning. They had fun and started playing by the swings. Coco-chan helped QP-chan. Good job! 

Upside down QP-chan

QP-chan and Coco-chan can do another thing with Pingu. She wanted to do it again and again.

Drawing time

As it was rainy, they did drawings with their nanny.

Little helpers

As it was not raining, Pinga took twins for glocery shopping. They wanted to go to the library so they stopped by there and then to a supermarket. Pinga was surprised that QP-chan could carry very heavy backpack. Strong QP-chan!

Mother QP-chan continues

QP-chan continues to take care of this bear. This time she was trying to put a diaper on it. Pinga helped her and here it is, the bear with a diaper!

Best part of me

Can you guess which one is Mono-chan's?

It is the hand. The reason is that he can hold onto the zipline with his hands.

Writing gala

There was this writing gala event at Momo-chan's school. Twins followed Pinga and came to the gym as well.

Water park

Twins were at water park and there was water this time. So they were happy.

Coco-chan started to do this happy face with two fingers. Their nanny filmed him singing happy song as well.

English bay

They took a walk with their nanny to English bay this morning. It was cloudy but they enjoyed the walk.

This is three of them just before Momo-chan leaving for school. They were happy after nikuman breakfast.

Before the haircut

Pinga cut QP-chan's hair as it grew very long. Here's how it looked before.

QP-chan wanted to help out too but the bag got a bit heavier by nattou and tofu.

They went to While Foods to buy some things after dinner. Coco-chan wanted to help carrying. Good job Coco-chan!

Meeting Jasmine

They had lunch guests and one of them was this dog Jasmine. She is a mix of schnauzer and poodle. She is calm and good but curious. All the kids got very excited to have her.

Morning kiss

After Pinga brushes her hair, QP-chan brought the hair brush and went to the bear. She brushed its hair, or more like head, and kissed it.

Balloon cat

There was a fundraising festival at Momo-chan's school so they went. There were hotdogs, popcorns, bouncy castle, ballon art and other things. Pinga got cat for Coco-chan and bunny for QP-chan. QP-chan broke here in no time but the cat is still almost in tact.

June started today but the weather is not that great. But it was ok weather in the morning and twins went out for a walking with sunglasses.
