Pingu arrives in Phoenix

Pingu is in Phoenix for a work trip. It is quite flat as you can see and many of the houses have their own pool. It was 34 degrees centigrade upon arrival but didn't feel so bad since it is low humidity.

When they went back, it was still raining much .

Vet Coco-chan

Here's Coco-Chan checking on injured sea otter. He was walking around holding it for a long time and said good bye when leaving kids area.

Aquarium fun

It was very rainy so they went to the aquarium. They had a lot of fun. Here's twins favourite place by the sea otters.

Pink QP-chan

QP-chan likes pink and she selects her clothes often herself. Today is no exception and she looks like this. Coco-chan is not so picky as QP-chan but he likes to have cars on his clothes.

Stanley park walk

After the shoreline walk, Momo-chan went to a birthday party at the aquarium. Pingu went out walking with the twins and picked Momo-chan up after the party. They walked slowly home and twins were mimicking everything Momo-chan did like usual. 

Nature kids shoreline walk

On Sunday morning, Pingu and Momo-chan went to Stanley Park with Nature kids club to look at the beach during low tide. They found many crabs but mostly small ones. This was the biggest one they found. 

Dead tired QP-chan

Pinga suspected Coco-chan must be very tired  without a nap. But it was QP-chan fell asleep on the sofa like this just after dinner. She was woken up by Coco-chan after a while.

Tired QP-chan?

Twins must have became tired as they sat on the stroller volunteerly just before 5 pm. Then QP-chan got off from the stroller and Coco-chan wanted to do the same. But QP-chan lie down like this on the way home. Creative QP-chan...

At the schoolyard

Pinga took twins to schoolyard around 3pm. Twins didn't take a nap but they were active. As usual, QP-chan played with many older kids and Coco-chan mostly stayed close to Pinga. It was sunny for once!

Fun in the bath

They had fun bathing together after dinner.

Cleaning helpers?

Pinga was sweeping and of course, twins wanted to help out. Coco-chan moved chairs and was really cleaning but QP-chan was more like checking the tools out and walking around with it.

Good night Momo-chan

Momo-chan hugs everyone before he goes to bed. In this case, they were hugging but also watching a movie. That's why they are looking at one spot.

Pinga got hockey game tickets from her work so Pingu and Pinga went to see the game. Pingu got excited to find a Swedish player, Elias Pettersson. Also there was Granlund whose name sounds Swedish but he is from Finland.

Twins had fun trying things like this at science world.

Science world again

Their nanny took them to science world this morning. They were happy riding a bus and tried many things at science world. They were not on their stroller. They are growing!

Little helpers

They didn't take a nap this afternoon and became a bit cranky after dinner. As Coco-chan wanted to take a walk, Pinga took them to grocery shopping. After coming back home, they wanted to help out transferring eggs. Pinga was afraid of them breaking them but she decided to let them try. They did well and not breaking any of the eggs. Good job!

Momo-chan + Coco-chan = ?

Giant pacific octopus! Pinga and Momo-chan were surprised that there's an octopus of that size.

Science show on bubbles

As it was rainy they went to science world in the morning. They started the visit by watching this science show on bubbles. Can you see there's a actuate bubble inside the tool she's holding?

Picking up Momo-chan

Twins went to pick Momo-chan up together with Pinga. Even though they have already walked much going to aquarium and also Coal Harbour park, they walked well. They were happy following Momo-chan on the way back.

Craft time

 As it was raining outside, they did some craft with their nanny. What were they making?

Getting organized!

Momo-chan has just started school again. Pingu bought a whiteboard to help him get organized. Hope it helps! 

Small kids corner -Climb

There's a corner aimed for age 1 to 5. Twins enjoyed trying out some things. They tried the climbing themed one and QP-chan went up and down quickly. Coco-chan went up too but had trouble coming down as his legs didn't reach the lower level easily. Pinga asked QP-chan to go to Coco-chan and help him. Then she quickly went back in there and rescued Coco-chan. Pinga was very happy to see that.

Ready to go out in the rain

 It was a rainy Sunday. Here are the twins dressed up with rain jackets, rain pants and rain boots. Pingu took them out so that they could fall asleep after lunch.

Nap time

After lunch, QP-chan put those stuffed animals on the sofa, put a towel on and petting them. Mom QP-chan!

T-Rex Stan

 After trying out the electric bike in East Vancouver, Momo-chan and Pinga went by Science World. Science World has many different sections and at this corner, there were live bugs, a stuffed beaver, microscope, etc. This T-rex is named Stan after the person who discovered the fossil in the riverbank.

Hugging twins

Their nanny said that they hugged each other a lot this morning. It was the first time they were hugging so many times.

Second beach

 As it was nice and sunny, their nanny took them to Second Beach in Stanley Park.

 They were doing a group hug. Can you see QP-chan in between Momo-chan and Coco-chan?

Walk after dinner

 As it was a nice day, they took a walk around the seawall after dinner. Summer is ending and it starts to get dark before 8 pm. 

Driving twins

 There was a driving corner as well. Here they are with their vehicles. Towards the end, there was a parachute time that they hold parachute together and kids go under it. QP-chan joined that for the first time. Also, she was more interested in story time than the snack. Coco-chan was still shy and didn't join the parachute activity.

 While QP-chan was happy with pink things, Coco-chan enjoyed playing with cars and other vehicles.

Church playtime

The summer vacation is over and the playtime at church is back. There were not so many kids and twins enjoyed playing with many different toys. QP-chan was very happy with a pink cart, a doll with pink clothes, and a pink blanket.

Street art

It's nearby their home but Pinga did not notice this wall paint is there. Twins were curious about it too. QP-chan recognizes totem poles after the Victoria trip.

New bike for Momo-chan

It was labour day holiday. They went to a bike shop that is closing soon and bought this bike for Momo-chan.

3.5 hours of tree canopy adventure

Momo-chan loved this activity and did it nonstop for 3.5 hours. Pinga joined and did two rounds with him. Momo-chan was very quick. The bottleneck to this kind of activity is when someone is very slow, that could make people queuing after him or her.

Ropes adventure

Momo-chan and Pinga went up to Grouse Mountain to do the ropes adventure. It's like an athletic course up in the air in between trees. Momo-chan loved the kids course. Unfortunately Pinga was not that happy as there were so many people and had to wait ten minutes or more at each station.
