Tempura soba

Following Japanese tradition, they had noodle for dinner. Pinga's tempura got good reviews from the family. Momo-chan mostly are noodle and twins almost just ate tempura.

Frog Keroppa

QP-chan drew this frog named Keroppa.

Baby shark colouring time

As it was raining heavily, they were at home playing and colouring. They immigrated one of the sharks in the picture.

Ice skating

While Momo-chan is at a day camp at the community centre, twins and Pinga went to ice skating. They met up with their nanny and had a lot of fun. They were skating for about 2 hours with 3 snack breaks.

Boxing day

As usual, Coco-chan woke up first. Pinga made french toast for him and he sat down together with his bunny. Coco-chan named his bunny "Coco"! So here are double Coco-chan.

Christmas socks

They all had cute Christmas socks on.

Presents time

They took turns and opened the presents. Momo-chan received headset and iPod froknPinga and Pingu. Also received need gun from Santa. Twins got this cooktop set from Pingu and Pinga.

Stuffed animals

QP-chan found Anna from Frozen and Mickey mouse. Coco-chan received brown bunny and Minnie mouse.

Christmas Day morning

Coco-chan woke up first and found these presents next to the Christmas tree. He got so excited and very happy. Here's the video of the kids in the morning.

Drawing Santa Claus

He is a designer and can draw really well and doesn't take much time at all. He drew robots for Momo-chan and Coco-chan. QP-chan requested Santa Claus.

Christmas Eve lunch

They had Italian friends over for lunch. They brought those pastries and spaghetti with sauce. Pings made sushi. They had fun time together.

Bear by QP-chan

Pings came back home from work and QP-chan wanted to show this to her. It was very nicely drawn and Pings wondered if it was done by Pingu. Pingu said it was just QP-chan. Wow, good job QP-chan!

Long queue for gondola

Around 4:30 pm, there was this long queue to the gondola. The plan was to meet Santa but there was a like as well and the latest they could get was at 6:30 pm. So they gave up and joined the gondola queue for going down the mountain.

Sleigh ride to ski school

As kids ski school is a bit of a walk from the gondola station, they take kids and parents to the school with this sleigh.

Ski school for the first time

Twins joined ski wee at Grouse Mountain. They enjoyed it. Coco-chan was not as willing as QP-chan but it seemed like he enjoyed it more than her. Here's Coco-chan skiing.

Momo-chan at the movie theatre

As Momo-chan's school ended yesterday, he was off and Pings took him to see Frozen II. He likes the movie and wanted the songs from it in his playlist.

Christmas performance

There was a Christmas performance and party at twins preschool. Here are they dancing to Joy to the world.

Christmas market

In the afternoon, they went to Christmas market. They were excited to be on a carousel but shortly after they tried it, they said it's scary and got off. They had chocolate marshmallow for a snack and liked it.

Sharing an umbrella

As there was no church playtime, they went to community centre for a playtime together with their friend. On the way back home, they were sharing an umbrella like this.

Gingerbread houses

They went to see gingerbread houses in the afternoon. They had fun watching different kinds of houses.

To the preschool

Its been raining everyday for more than 10 days or so. Heres twins walking to the preschool in the morning. Coco-chan woke up in time but QP-chan needed to be waken up.

Playtime at church

Twins got those Christmas cookies as it was the last playtime at church this year. They are having cold but they could have fun.

Arrived at preschool

Here are Twins just arrived at their preschool. They undress and wash their hands then start playing.

Whistler Blackomb

Momo-chan and Pings were in Whistler for skiing. Weather was good but there was not much snow. There were small stones on the slopes and bushes here and there. But they were happy to ski anyways.

Biome project

Momo-chan is learning about biome at school and he had this homework to create biome. With Pinga's help, he finished it around 9pm. Good job Momo-chan!

Dessert plate for Momo-chan

Momo-chan was happy with his dessert plate. It had cookies and mini cakes from work, home made chocolate banana cake, and dried mango. Momo-chan finished about half of it.

Advent calendar time

After dinner was advent calendar chocolates time. Pinga almost forgot but Momo-chan remembered it. 

Hello Dashi

Pinga went to pick Momo-chan up at his friend's place where Dashi lives. He reminds Pinga of me. He does look a bit like me but don't you think I'm more handsome?!

Is picked up by his friend. The photo looks like it's not dark but it was not in reality at 7:20am. He was happy though.

Cheese advent calendar

Pinga found this advent calendar with cheese. As it was the 3rd day, they tried three mini cheese from the box. Momo-chan and QP-chan gwnerally like cheese whereas Coco-chan doesn't. As usual, Coco-chan didn't like it and other two were eating it.

Parade continues...

This is a Port of Vancouver mascot penguin. There was fire department, police, TV station, nurse association, dance clubs, etc.

Rain deer QP-chan and bear Coco-chan said hi to this rain deer.

Pre Santa parade event

Santa parade was from 12 and there was this pre parade event at the art gallery square. They wanted to do face painting but the line was soooo long. They coloured Christmas cards and said hi to gingerbread people.

Advent calendar start!

Today is December 1st and kids got their Advent calendar. Yesterday Pinga and twins decorated the (non real) Christmas tree.

Cotton candy

They were giving cotton candies for free. Twins were happy to receive one each. Pinga thought about bringing one home but it was too difficult. Momo-chan should have gone with them! Pinga asked many times but he was determined not to go...

Hello gingerbread man

Twins were in Yaletownnfor the Christmas event called Candytown. There were Christmas themed shops, gingerbread persons and cotton candy stand.

Parade started

Parade started at noon and they could find a decent spot to watch it. There were a couple of pipe bands participated in it.

Community education

Pinga attended community education session at Momo-chan's school in the evening. The topic was about executive functions. It was good for Pinga to recapture those so that she can deal with Momo-chan better.

Waiting and waiting...

Here are twins waiting to get flu shots at the clinic. The appointment was at 3:30 but they are still waiting. Now it's 3:55.

Christmas wreath

They arrived at the preschool and noticed that there are these wreaths. As you can see, QP-chan is more sooperative when taking photo. Coco-chan usually doesn't really care about photo shooting and continue what he is doing.

Unicorn

Their friends came to visit them with many toys and one of them was this unicorn. QP-chan likes it much and put pajama on it and brushed its teeth. Good job QP-chan!

Sunday morning

They slept in and woke up around 9. It was unusual Coco-chan slept in. Maybe because Pinga stayed in the bed as well. Here's Coco-chan checking on still sleeping QP-chan.

Cirque de soleil

As part of Pingu's birthday celebration, Pinga took Momo-chan and Pingu to Luzia by Cirque de soleil. It was much fun watching the show.

Renting ski boots

They came to rent twins ski boots at a ski shop in North Vancouver. QP-chan feet are 16cm and Coco-chan's 17cm.

To the preschool

Momo-chan does not have school today so all of them left together like this. Pinga was biking her bike and took this photo. Momo-chan went to Pingu work. Twins were dropped off at their preschool.

Momo-chan’s classroom

Pingu and Pinga has a meeting with Momo-chan's teachers. It was good to hear how he is at school. His classroom has ocean theme. Nice and colourful.
