Chocolate melon bread

This time, Pinga decided to add chocolate flavour to melon bread. It was as good as normal melon bread but more easy to see when it's cracked.

Here's Coco-chan helping a bit with making chocolate melon bread. He got tired after doing sword fight with Momo-chan and came to the kitchen.

Pinga found Inez in the washing machine.

Yokan time おやつは抹茶羊羹

Pinga ordered some Japanese food from Germany and they arrived yesterday. Kids were so happy with matcha yokan and anko (red bean paste). Pinga thought she should have ordered more of them.

Coco-chan working on his tree

QP-chan has runny nose and had to stay home. Coco-chan was at daycare but there were just four kids today. His teacher said he didn't have as much fun as usual as he was missing QP-chan and also his favourite friend. When Pinga went to pick him up, he was by this tree as usual for this week.

Found a ladybug

QP-chan is still good at finding a ladybug. She found one at daycare this afternoon and got so excited.

Zip lining Momo-chan

Momo-chan is off this week so he is spending time with Pinga. They went to see their friend and near his place was this playground with zipline. He was happy to be back at this place.

QP-chan at dentist

Now it's QP-chan's turn to fix the hole in her teeth. It was more difficult for the dentist as she didn't like a lot of water in her mouth and also she was afraid of the noise. But she did it. Good job QP-chan!

Birthday fika

After daycare, they celebrated twins with birthday cake. Coco-chan wanted chocolate cake and QP-chan wished for strawberry cake. She was thinking of strawberry cream pie in Vancouver. It became chocolate mousse cake and bother liked it. Momo-chan made iron beads arts for them.

Birthday waffle

Pinga made waffles with birthday decorations for twins. They ate happily.

Birthday morning

Coco-chan woke up happy this morning. He knew it's his birthday. They watched TV together until waffles were ready.

Big playground again

They went to the big playground again as Momo-chan wanted to go there. As the weather was not that great, there were not as many people as this weekend. They had a lot of fun together.

Garage in the making

These carpenters are working hard and the garage has walls now. Kids were checking on them curiously when they came back home.

Ducklings, follow me!

Here are the kids on their way home. Pinga asked Momo-chan to lead the way and he said to the twins, "Ducklings, follow me!" You can see them in the movie here.

At the playground

They biked to a bigger playground nearby around 3pm. As usual, they had much fun together.

Garage project continues

Two carpenters came and worked on building garage today. It seems to be a lot of work and Momo-chan and twins got very curious. There were much materials removed from the car port and they needed to throw them away to city dump. Then Pingu hurt his back. So Momo-chan and Pings helped loading them to the wagon and throwing them away at the dump.

Big swing

Coco-chan didn't want to be on it but to push. They had fun for an hour and a half and then had to leave as QP-chan needed to go to toilet.

City park

Twins were at the same playground as yesterday but this time with Momo-chan. It was 11C and sunny so there were very many people. Can you find all three of them in this photo? Momo-chan is high up.

Trampoline fun

There was a trampoline and they liked jumping on it a lot.

City park

After having cakes, they went to a city park to play. They had a lot of fun and stayed an hour and a half.

At the cafe

Pinga was ordering birthday cake. Then Coco-chan came and said that he wanted to eat the cake on cafe's web site. Pinga decided to take them there. QP-chan chose chocolate semla and Coco-chan picked chocolate mousse cake. They ate well.

Building project started

Carpenter came and started carport conversion project. It will be a closed garage. Twins were very curious about what he was doing.

Coco-chan and Inez

Inez is very curious and friendly. So when they have meals, she wants to join. She was sitting in front of Momo-chan when he had breakfast. Then Coco-chan woke up and came to the table and she was right by his side.

Sledding on the wet snow

It got plus 1C degree and the snow started to melt quickly. Pinga took the kids to sledding as it could be the last time before the snow is gone. The snow was wet and heavy and they went down slower than expected.

Bird's and dogs footsteps

It was snowing heavily in the morning. On the way home from daycare, they could find footsteps of dogs and birds. Coco-chan was very interested in them and told QP-chan and Pings to not to step on them.

Snowy morning

It snowed during the night so they woke up to the white scenery. It's not as cold as last week with the temperature of minus 3 degrees.

On the way home

Pinga picked up Leo as he needed to go to dentist appointment. Then Momo-chan found them. Coco-chan got very happy.

Gateau chocolat

Pinga baked gateau chocolat as it's Valentine's Day. It received good reviews from all of them.

Popular Momo-chan

Momo-chan joined sledding as well. He was popular among smaller kids. He went down with one of them and not all of them like this.

To the sledding hill

As you can see, twins friends are twins as well. After receiving presents, they went sledding at the nearby hill.

Valentine's Day gifts

Twins prepared Valentine's Day gifts for their friends yesterday. They gave them this morning at a football lesson and they became very happy and came to return the favour with gifts for Coco-chan and QP-chan. Very sweet!

Sledding in bigger scale

They drove to Lund's highest point, St Hans hill, to do sledding. There were so many people, both kids and adults. It could get very fast going down. Here's Coco-chan going down the hill with his older friend.

To the pond

After eating afternoon snack, they left for the frozen pond to do ice skating. They pulled each other like this. And then Pinga pulled bother of them.

Heart day

Twins were talking about day of heart, Valentine's Day. Today Coco-chan made this at daycare. Good job Coco-chan!

Let's go home

Pinga picked twins up later than usual as she had doctor's appointment. They were happy as they wanted to eat afternoon snack at daycare. There was not enough time to go sledding before leaving for dance class.

Ice skating again

Twins and Pinga went ice skating again today. They had fun but QP-chan got frustrated as she couldn't skate like other kids. Let's hope they'll get the hang of it soon.

After sledding, they went to this frozen pond to join their friends ice skating. It was their first time this winter. They had fun.

As usual, they went to a nearby hill for sledding. Then they found out their friends are ice skating.

Ice cube by Coco-chan

Coco-chan made this ice cube at daycare. It has glitter, leaf, and other things in it.

Sledding twins

It was cold today as well and the snow is staying. So they went to a nearby hill for sledding. There were no other kids although it was not snowing.

Long walk in town

Pinga had an hour and a half walk with her friend and her dog Astrid. It was a beautiful day but very cold with the highest temperature of the day being minus.

To the post

They walked to a post to put in a letter for Pingu. Mono-chudid a good job leading twins and keeping them safe.

Cat lover Momo-chan

All the kids love the cats. Coco-chan is very careful with them but Momo-chan and QP-chan loves to hold them and pet them. So here is Momo-chan holding Totoro.

Minus temperature all day

It didn't get to plus temperature today. So it was very cold but good for sledding. After daycare, they had fun at a nearby hill together with their friends.

Snowy afternoon

It started snowing heavily in the afternoon. They went sledding after daycare. Momo-chan was already there having fun with sled.

Setsubun demons

One day late but they did throwing of soy beans to welcome spring and wished for family health. Momo-chan and Coco-chan volunteered to become demons. All others threw soy beans saying "Demons out, happiness in!"

Sleepy QP-chan

Pinga made waffles for breakfast but only Momo-chan was up. Coco-chan was sleeping on Pinga's bed and QP-chan was in dreamy land as well. Pingu placed dragon like this but QP-chan didn't react and kept sleeping. Zzz...

Sledding fun

Coco-chan came back home from dentist but no one was at home. Coco-chan found them on a small hill nearby. It was getting dark but Momo-chan and QP-chan were having fun going down the slope. Coco-chan was a bit scared but joined QP-chan like this.

Dentist again

Coco-chan was at the dentist listening to dental hygienist talking about the tools they use and how they sound. She also took x-ray of his teeth. It went all well up until she did anesthesia shot. He cried and they decided to do this rehearsal again before fixing his cavity.
