Relaxing together

Coco-chan has been sock with fever. So he was taking it easy on the sofa. Momo-chan came back and joined Coco-chan. Then Totoro came to join them. It was unusual for him to come out from his usual place under the bed to be close to the boys.

Eel day 土用の丑の日

According to Japanese calendar, today is the day to eat eel to combat very warm weather. Momo-chan was happy to have his favorite dish for dinner.

Little helpers

They were asked to peel these corns and did a good job. Dinner was bacon asparagus together with these corns.

Beach after dinner

As it was still warm in the evening, they came to Bjärred. But the water wasn't as warm as they hoped it would be. Brave QP-chan took off her shirt and became like this but boys didn't take their shirts off.

Rubber band bracelets

Twins are into two things now. Aqua beads and rubber band craft. QP-chan made these two bracelets in no time.

Aqua beads for the first time

They tried away beads for the first time. It was interesting just to spray water instead of ironing them.

Sick Coco-chan

Coco-chan was at home as he had fever during the night. He was warm in the afternoon as well.

After daycare

Twins wanted to pick cherries then came to this playground. QP-chan likes to climb up and Coco-chan was doing something else.

さくらんぼ狩り Cherry hunting

They went out to pick some cherries after dinner. Twins have done it with Pingu before so they took Pinga to the tasty and bigger cherry trees.

Water flight

They got this backpack type water pistols from Pinga's parents. They wanted to try it and had much fun. Coco-chan firstly played with QP-chan then with Momo-chan.

ぐりとぐらの絵本にも出てくるカステラが日曜日のおやつでした！

Momo-chan and Pings came back with lots of souvenirs. They had castella for afternoon snack.

Sprungli store

Pinga knows where to get excellent sweet. Momo-chan wanted raspberry flavor one but they didn't have any fruits flavoured macarons today. They got a box of 16 macarons.

At Zürich airport

After 11.5 hours flight, Momo-chan and Pinga arrived in Zürich. There were not many people at all when on the train to go to gates. But once they got there, most of the shops are open and many more people than at Narita airport.

Empty airport

Not many people at all at the airport as it is Covid time. The flight has maybe 30 people onboard.

To Narita airport

Momo-chan woke up at 5 am to catch the train and his flight from Narita. It was extra quick and comfortable with Keisei Skyliner express from Ueno station.

Swim test Momo-chan

It was 6th and last swimming lesson for Momo-chan. He passes the test and he passed it. So proud of Momo-chan! Pinga and Pinga's mom were watching him swim.

Candy factory

After getting driving license for KidZania, it was time for Momo-chan to make candies. He made these soft candies.

Vending machine operator

The second activity Momo-chan picked was vending machine operator. They got to fill in the bottles, press buttons many times and clean the machine.

KidZania Tokyo

It was Momo-chan's first time to visit KidZania. First acctivity he chose was bakery. Can you find Momo-chan here?

Cat cafe

Momo-chan wanted to go to cat cafe so they went to one in Ikebukuro. It was very first time for Pinga to visit cat cafe.tjere were 8 cats.

Gyoza and Peking duck

Momo-chan was happy as Pinga's mom took him out for a lunch with the dishes of his wishes. Here he is eating Peking duck, ramen and gyoza.

Gacha gacha Momo-chan

Momo-chan likes to do this gacha gacha thing. Put coins that's worth 200 or 300 yen and turn the non to pick up a ball looking like this. Momo-chan got a lizard this time.

Origami Momo-chan

Inspired by his cousin, Momo-chan made origami ball with 12 origami papers with the help of Pinga.

Shinjuku skyscraper

Momo-chan and Pings went to Shinjuku to see Pinga's best friend. They had lunch on the 12th floor. Here's Momo-chan looking like he's flying.

Driving Momo-chan

After lunch, they went to a game arcade for some fun. He enjoyed driving experience. Also, they got to catch these mini ocean creatures. Well, they spent quite many 100 yen coins on them though...

Whale bread

Momo-chan and Pings went to Ikebukuro after a visit to skin doctor. They had light lunch at a bakery. Momo-chan ate this melon bread shaped as a whale and mango bread. He liked both a lot.

Leaving Ishiuch

They left for Tokyo this morning. The weather was so so but it was a great stay with onsen, nature and good food.

Fireworks

It was not raining much so they decided to do fireworks. They had just 10 it so it went pretty quickly. Momo-chan enjoyed it and it was a while ago Pinga did this too.

Hello froggy

Momo-chan is very good at spotting frogs and also catching them. He found frogs just outside the supermarket as well.

Noodles ready to eat

So these are the noodles Momo-chan and Pinga have worked on. Some of them were extra thick but they were tasty.

Cutting soba

Here's Pinga cutting soba dough to noodles. It was not easy making it thin but using special soba knife made it much easier. Then the soba making teacher boiled soba and served it to them.

They went to experience soba noodle making today. It was first time for Pinga as well. Here's Momo-chan doing the step of round soba dough to thin circle so that they could cut it to noodles.

Momo-chan and Pinga went to a swimming pool. There was a slider and Momo-chan liked it a lot. Here's Momo-chan in action.

Hiking up to the tree house

Momo-chan and Pibga hiked up a long way to get to this tree house. There was a zipline as well and here is Momo-chan trying it out.

On their way to Niigata

As their 14 days quarantine has ended, they are on their way to Niigata now. After an hour of driving, they took a break in Kamisato. Momo-chan chose miso ramen for lunch and he liked it.

Swim lesson: session 1

It was the first time for Momo-chan to go to swim lesson. They said they'd adjust a class accordingly but Momo-chan ended up being with the very beginner group. As Momo-chan can actually swim a bit, both Momo-chan and Pinga were not happy with the decision. But Momo-chan did his best and proved that he could be at one class higher. So the instructor told Pinga after the class that he would go to the class one above next time. Good job Momo-chan!!

Tokyo prefecture election

Pinga and Momo-chan went to early vote for Tokyo metropolitan government election. As it was at the Itabashi science hall, there were fish, birds and a turtle. While Pinga voted, Momo-chan was checking this turtle out.
