Last day at school

It was twins last day at school. They were happy receiving letters from their classmates. Pinga found their teachers being very nice and kind.

Funny Coco-chan

After the swim test, they found Coco-chan's classmate and started to play together. Although Coco-chan wanted to pee, he wanted to play more. So here he is climbing.

Driving simulator

Their definite favourite of the day was these driving simulators. Here's Coco-chan driving to get to the destination.

To the science museum

Science museum is within the imperial palace park. So here they are going through the Shimizu gate to get there.

Little helper QP-chan

Pinga's Mom Pinga and QP-chan went to a supermarket to catch the special egg sale this morning. QP-chan was helpful and she carried a shopping bag afterward as well.

In Ikebukuro

They were in Ikebukuro to meet Pinga's friends. They used to work together and lunch gathering brought back old memories. Twins had fun meeting them too.

Two more days left

Twins are enjoying going to the elementary school. But they have two more days left as they will leave for Sweden next Friday. They made made friends.

Water guns fight

It was sunny with 26C degrees. After the snack and homework, they went out to play with water guns.

On the way to swim lesson

They had swim practice on the weekend with Pinga. They seem to come to like water and swimming. Here they are taking QP-chan pose.

Making miniature sushi 🍣

Twins love these sweet kits to make some food items. Today, it was sushi. It tastes like soda and other sweet flavors.

French toasts breakfast

Pinga's dad made french toast for kids This morning. All the kids loved them and ate very well.

Shabu shabu dinner

They had shabu shabu dinner and thought of Pingu as it's hus favorite dish. After the dinner was dessert. Coco-chan picked this one with matcha mousse and brown sugar jelly tipped with ice cream.

Off to school

Twins leave for school at 7:55. Coco-chan is usually faster and leave a bit before QP-chan. Here's QP-chan ready to go. They backpack is so heavy with books and a borrowed laptop.

Beniiro flamingos

As the name suggests, these flamingos were more red than usual pink ones. While Coco-chan was checking them out, QP-chan got disappear not being able to see bats as their building was already closed.

Twins and twin pandas

So here are twins with the twin pandas. It was 26C degrees and they, especially QP-chan, were tired and wasn't so interested in walking around seeing animals.

Hello lemurs

They went to Ueno zoo as they won the ticket to see giant pandas. Pandas were mot moving much and just showing their back. But they got to see other animals that were active.

Loose tooth

Coco-chan came back home saying my tooth is very loose. Pinga checked and sh could see an adult tooth just behind it. She asked him if they should try to pull it out. The answer was no so she booked a dentist on Friday. Coco-chan said he cannot eat hard things like rice crackers and apples.

Hello again guinea pigs

There were goats and guinea pigs brought to the botanical garden from the kids zoo that they've visited a few weeks ago. Here are twins petting them again.

Key chains done

QP-chan was done with a pot painting and made this keychain with the help of the staff. Good job, QP-chan!

At the botanical garden

They left hone around 9 to come to this botanical garden. There's an event called green fair. They painted plant pots and made key chains with dried flowers.

Jellyfish

As the guide person was in charge of jellyfish, they had a special session on jellyfish. It doesn't have brain, how it makes babies, how long it lives, etc. She also told the guests there are four groups of staff. One is fish group that she's in. Second is sea animal, third is diver, and the fourth is a facility group.

Backstage tour

They joined backstage tour of the aquarium at 11. It was just for 14 people and the staff showed them backstage of the aquarium. Here they are standing on top of the biggest fish tank that holds 1500 fish.

Curious Coco-chan

Pinga was watching penguins. Coco-chan came excited and said he wanted to show her something. It was this staff cleaning the tank by using a playing card. He was watching her close for a while.

In Ikebukuro

It was raining. They were on the way to the aquarium.

Art exhibition of Lizzi Rix-Ueno

Pinga hasn't been to an art museum for a long time. Her friend took me to this exhibition bad it was very interesting. Interesting design work somewhat western and Japanese at the same time. Made her think of Marimekko's textile too.

After the swim lesson

Here are twins on the way home from swim lesson. It was raining a bit.

Second jab done ✅

Twins got the second shots of Covid-19 vaccination. They were very calm and no problem getting the shots. They looked this happy after visiting the clinic.

Sleepy morning

In order to leave for school at 7:55, they need to be up around 7. It's not so difficult to get Coco-chan up but QP-chan is the tough one.

Hiragana homework

Here's QP-chan's homework for the day. After writing, she drew this flower circle to indicate good job. It was supposed to be done by the teacher though.

Tai sashimi

Coco-chan is discovering foods in Japan. Sashimi is one of them. Here he is enjoying sashimi of tai, porgy.

Little helpers

As it's mother's day, Pinga was making strawberry tiramisu. It's not easy finding raspberry, it became strawberry.

Cute together

They had photo sessions alone and together.

Shichigosan photoshoot

Twins were at the photo studio taking photos for Shichigosan. They had kimono and Håkan for the first outfit and then dress and suits for the second.

Ready for swimming

Here's Coco-chan getting ready for a swim class. QP-chan quickly ran into the changing room but Coco-chan wanted to say good bye to Pinga.

Street performer

They went to Kinuta park together with Pinga's friend. There were street performers taking turns to perform. Coco-chan was so fascinated by them.

Water pistol fight

They had a picnic and twins found new friends. They had fun running around with water pistols.

It was 24C and so they could play with water pistols. They were out in the park and at a library from 11:30 to 16:30.

Pokémon hats and balloons

Twins became happy with these hats and balloons from the lottery. Then they bought water pistols and went back to a playground.

Free lottery

They were at a supermarket buying a drink. There were mobile operator company doing a campaign. So the twins entered a draw.

Hello guinea pigs

Here they are petting guinea pigs. As it was very crowded, they had limited time to have them on their laps. They names were Heart and Zara.

Pony ride

As it's a national holiday, they went to a nearby animal park to ride a pony and pet guinea pigs.

Spicy udon

Pinga ordered this udon dish last time and Coco-chan liked it a lot so ge ordered it for himself this time. QP-chan enjoyed kids meal while he enjoyed this.

Time to leave

Just before 20, they were ready to leave for home. It was a lot of fun and Coco-chan fell asleep on the train.

Time to shine

At 15, there was a show called Time to shine. They expected something major byt it was just this one ship with Mickey and the friends on it.

Disney Sea

They stayed at a hotel nearby and went to Disney Sea the second day. Luckily it was sunny. The end of the visit on Saturday was so much rain and wind abs they got soaked.

Popcorn time

They were there with their former nanny from Vancouver. She was very kind and offered to buy a present for twins. They picked these popcorn with containers. They said after eating popcorn, they'd use them at Halloween.

Scared QP-chan

QP-chan doesn't like rides that are in the darker place. This Winnie the Pooh ride was not scary but she was very scared so Coco-chan took her hand like this.

Disneyland for the first time

Twins were at the Disneyland for their first time. It started off with just a bit of rain.
