Watching song battle

After dinner was watching TV. It's a long tradition to watch song battle program. Momo-chan liked it and continued watch it up until 11pm.

Year end noodle dinner

Momo-chan had tempura noodle together with his grandparents, cousins and Pinga's sister. He likes soba noodle and tempura so he was happy.

Toy, doll and car museum

On the way to Maebashi from Ikaho, they stopped by at this museum. There were so many things collected at this museum. Momo-chan had fun looking around and playing a retro game.

View of the mountains

It was worth walking up the stairs as this view was waiting for them from the observation deck.

Going further up

They decided to go further up to the observation point. It was more steps than Pinga thought.

To Ikaho shrine

They went up 365 stairs to Ikaho shrine. There was many tourists walking up.

Chocolate fountain

Hotel breakfast buffet was so many choices. Pinga was surprised to see this chocolate fountain as it was in the morning. Momo-chan went twice.

Pingpong Momo-chan

Momo-chan loves pingpong. He was very happy to see the pingpong table and played for half an hour. Very serious matches!

Hello Gunma-chan

Arrived in Takasaki and found Gunma-chan, the horse mascot for Gunma prefecture.

Joetsu Shinkansen to Takasaki

Momo-chan and Pinga took a Shinkansen to Takasaki. Momo-chan was very excited. It was just half an hour ride instead of taking one and a half hour with two local trains. One of the local trains, Joetsu line, was not running because of the cautions for heavy snow.

Skiing with cousins

Pinga was leading three kids at a ski park. The weather was perfect and the kids had fun together. It was minus 1C degrees in the morning and then got to 2C degrees so the snow was melting.

Skiing Momo-chan

They enjoyed skiing and skied more than four hours.

Sushi lunch

Momo-chan had leg pain and didn't ski today. So they went for sushi lunch. Momo-chan liked ikura and this shirasu.

Pingpong cousins

After dinner was pingpong time. They played about an hour.

So much snow

It continued to snow a lot. Momo-chan abd Pinga were on the chair lift abd snow just fell onto them.

Skiing Momo-chan

Just in time for their arrival, their usual ski resort opened. Here's Momo-chan skiing down the slope. Despite of the heavy snow and strong wind, Momo-chan was in good spirit.

Asakusa

They went to Asakusa to see Sensoji temple and the street leads to it. It was many people but not as bad as Pinga thought. Momo-chan was very tired and not willing to walk but they reached the temple.

Taiyaki

Momo-chan saw Taiyaki model at a food model shop and he wanted to eat it. Pinga told him if they find a ship, shed buy one for him. And there it was, Taiyaki shop! Momo-chan chose match paste, their friend chose red bean paste, Pinga chose sweet potato. They were freshly made and good.

In Kappabashi

After sushi breakfast, they went to Kappabashi to check out some kitchen utensils. Here's Momo-chan sharpening a knife at a knife store.

Sushi Dai

They went to have sushi breakfast after watching tuna auction. There was a long line at this sushi place but they decided to wait for cancellation. Luckily, some people didn't show up and they got to go in just before 8am. Sushi was so delicious.

Tuna auction in Toyosu

They woke up at 5am to get to Toyosu fish market and see the tuna auction. It was interesting with huge frozen tunas. The auction ended just before 6:30am.

Making frozen fried rice

Here's Momo-chan making frozen fried rice by freezing it at minus 179C degrees. The fried rice was tasty with lots of veggies and shrimp.

Pizza chef Momo-chan

The second activity was to become a pizza chef. He did a good job and the pizza came out from the oven was delicious.

Kidzania Momo-chan

Momo-chan was at Kidzania in Toyosu. His first job activity was to be a glasses shop attendant. There he made original sunglasses.

Nabe dinner

Momo-chan went to dentist and haircut today. Here he is happy with dinner with his new haircut.

Birthday party!

Today QP-chan and Coco-chan went to a birthday party. Coco-chan became sick Friday and was very happy to be fully recovered so he could join the party. The party was at this indoor play park with lots of fun activities including trampolines.

In Frankfurt

They waited for more than four hours in Frankfurt. Momo-chan wanted to eat a pretzel so here he is. He made friends with a German boy and had fun playing mobile phone games with him.

At Copenhagen Airport

They were at Copenhagen Airport. It's nicely decorated for Christmas. Their flight was delayed for half an hour so it was good they had a long wait time in Frankfurt.

Badminton Christmas party

Today, the local badminton club had their Christmas party. During the party you could play on the 12 courts. Pingu and QP-chan played together. QP-chan (and Coco-chan) has definitely improved this semester, good job!

On the way back from Japanese school

Coco-chan was sick at home so it was just QP-chan who went to the Japanese school. On the way back home, they needed to wait for half an hour at Copenhagen main station as the train to Sweden was cancelled. So they had a snack time.

Ice skating

After dinner, they went skating at the main square in Lund. Twins had a lot of fun. Pinga was surprised to see how much they improved from last year. Here's the video.

Gingerbread Coco-chan

Coco-chan picked this outfit for today. Very cute!

Big Eevee completed

QP-chan has been sick at home. She was working on this big Eevee iron beads almost all day today. With the help from Pinga, she has completed it. Good job! Coco-chan was eating saffran bun.

Decorating Christmas tree

Twins set up the Christmas tree after dinner. Many decorations were things they made from before and brought back memories.

Minus 7C degrees

Here's Coco-chan biking ro school in the morning. QP-chan and Momo-chan were sick at home. Let's hope for their quick recovery and for Coco-chan to be continuously healthy.

Package from Japan

Their friend who used to live here sent a Christmas package to them. They found all kinds of things they like and became so happy.

Snowy morning

It was a cold morning. They woke up to a white world.

Last session of gymnastics

After Momo-chan's keyboard lesson cones twins' gymnastics. As it's the last lesson for the autumn term, they showed the parents what they can do. After that was fika.

Raspberry tiramisu

Here's Coco-chan giving Pinga a double thumbs up for the desert. Pinga made it as Coco-chan wanted to eat it.

QP-chan is Peko-chan

Pinga bought this hair clip for QP-chan as she looks like this character, Peko-chan. QP-chan fixed her hair by herself and came into the kitchen and said "Look! Peko-chan!" to Pinga.

Yoga QP-chan

QP-chan woke up with much energy even though she's having a cold. She wanted to do some exercise so Pinga found a kids yoga session for her.

Coco-chan's Crafts, etc.

Here's Coco-chan showing Pinga what he has done for Swedish, numbers, pictures, etc. Twins were doing well for both Swedish and Japanese learning.
