Hinamatsuri themed origami

Twins had a Japanese class this afternoon. After reading out loud, they made these as March 3rd is Hinamatsuri. Left is done by Coco-chan and right, QP-chan.

Football practice

Wednesday is football practice for twins. It was outside and Coco-chan didn't go but they went and they did well.

Stuffed animal project

Twins made these stuffed animals at after school care. Coco-chan calls his stuffed animal "karate cat."

Practice matches

Twins birthday

Twins turned 8 today. They drove back from Strömstad and arrived in Lund at 16. Pinga baked an apple cake that QP-chan likes. Coco-chan's favourite chocolate cake is coming up next week.

Last day in Trysil

Unfortunately, the weather for their last day was not good. It was rainy and when they went up with the lift, snowy and foggy. Momo-chan didn't even want to ski. Stuck in the snowy road

They were on their way out of the cabin to the reception to check out. Then the road had thick snow and it was melting. So the car got stuck. They got out and pushed from behind, shoveled the road, and used planks. But it was not easy at all. This very kind Durch lady who was staying as a guest came out to help them out. Her husband came out towards the end and pushed the car too. They were all touched by the kind act of this couple. After an hour, the car finally went up the hill. Well, it got stuck one more time on the way out to the main road. Wow, that was tough.

Valle's show

Twins went to see Valle's show. It was actually the third time for Coco-chan. Two ladies and the snowman Valle sing and dance. They also explain about the skiing rules. Twins helping each other

Day 4 in Trysil

QP-chan wanted to ski with Pingu. So the rest of them were skiing together. Momo-chan and Coco-chan like skiing off piste and uneven surfaces. It was almost sunny in the morning and then fog, and snow.

On the ski bus

They have been taking a ski bus at 9 am to get to the mountain. They usually ski until around 14 and take the returning bus just before 15.

Magic show

After skiing, they went to see a magic show by a Dutch magician Rob Mollie. He showed many tricks by using coins, cards, Rubik's cube, etc. He was amazing.

Trysil sign

In the afternoon, Momo-chan, Coco-chan and Pinga skied together. They found this sign near the slope so went to take photos. It was another nice day of skiing.

Skiing twins

Coco-chan started to use poles today. QP-chan tried it too. Momo-chan just started skiing by himself and found friends to ski with so he didn't ski much with the family today. Day 1 of skiing

It was not sunny like yesterday in Trysil but it was a good day for skiing. It was cloudy and then snowy. They had fun skiing down and it was not crowded as in Åre last year.

Cabin for a week

They will stay at this cabin for a week. It would have been nicer close to the slope but they got unlucky and their original accommodation near the slope got cancelled a few weeks ago.

Arrived in Trysil

They rented Momo-chan's ski and sent QP-chan's ski to tuning up. They are ready to start skiing tomorrow.

Lunch break in Elverum

After three hours of driving, they took a lunch break in Elverum. Pinga took this photo as she has never seen this before. It's quite practical and faster than just walking. Same kind of vehicle was parked by the mall.

On their way to Norway

They are on their way to ski park in Norway. As it's 9 to 10 hours drive, they started driving around 15 and got to Strömstad at 21:30. Because of the construction, they had to take detour and it added an hour to their drive.

Happy Valentine's day ❤️

Kids were happy with Pinga's chocolate gift. Momo-chan was explaining which chocolate contains what. QP-chan had most number of chocolates. Momo-chan and Coco-chan just had one or two.

Borrowing ski gears

There is a place in downtown that you can borrow sports gear from. Pinga was not sure but yes, they have ski gear as well. So here is Momo-chan trying out ski boots. There were not many boots or ski left but they could find ones for Momo-chan and QP-chan.

Cozy morning

Momo-chan was lying just next to Totoro this morning. Totoro had his paw on him like this.

Preparing for ski trip

They were trying on ski socks, ski pants, etc. to see what fits best. They will be leaving for skiing ok Friday.

Momo-chan lost another tooth

Momo-chan chan wiggled and pulled his tooth out by using another tooth. He has five more milk teeth left.

Disco Coco-chan

While QP-chab went out with Pingu, Coco-chan did his Japanese homework and came to school disco. Older kids organize disco for fundraiser. It was Coco-chan's first time to join. When Pinga went to pick him up, he was very happy. He said that he won dance and stop competition.

Tooth number seven 🦷

Coco-chan lost another tooth today. He told Pinga it happened while he was eating an apple at school. He put the tooth in a glass for the tooth fairy. He lost two teeth last week. He has one more tooth that is loose. It's on the bottom left.

Letter from Santa Claus

They got a letter from Santa Claus saying that he forgot the wrapping paper and he wants them to place it by the window. QP-chan put it by the window right away. Let's see when he comes to pick it up.

Cat lover Coco-chan

Momo-chan loves cats but that's same with Coco-chan. He made these cute iron beads cats and hamsters at school.

Pinga was surprised to find Inez on Coco-chan's lap. Very cute!

It's Setsubun festival. So twins and Pinga took turns and became damons.

Momo-chan lost a tooth

They came back home from Copenhagen and Momo-chan told then he lost his tooth. It was unstable and he just pulled it himself. Oh, Momo-chan!

Ice cream, as promised

Twins wanted to eat ice cream in the morning. Pinga promised them to get them after school so here they are happy with ice creams.

On the way to school

It's Saturday but Japanese school for the twins. Coco-cham was working hard as usual whereas QP-chan didn't want to study.
