Super baking evening

As both Pingu and Pinga invite their colleagues for afternoon tea tomorrow, Pinga baked a lot this evening. Hope colleagues like them.

Mooomin cookie

Mooomin cookies

Pinga received yet another birthday present from her close colleague. It was a cute mug and mooomin cookie cutter. So she baked these. It was a bit difficult to keep one of the boxes mooomin feet and also arm. Momo-chan got excited about it too.

Jamberry nail wraps

Pinga was at her friends place to try mail wraps for the first time. They are very nice but applying and trimming them on the right hand was indeed difficult. End results look like this.

Much bigger Polo

Pinga visited her friend who used to have 4 kittens. Now she has two of them and the mom cat. Marco and Gandalf were adopted together so they were no longer there. Kittens have grown much bigger than before.

Raamen Momo-chan

Momo-chan likes noodles and he is good at eating them. He ate a lot of raamen.

Taking care of flowers

Momo-chan noticed that Pinga received some flowers. Here's Momo-chan putting special liquid into the vase so that flowers live longer.

Gold medal of kindness 「とっても優しいから金メダルあげるね」

Momo-chan said to Pinga this morning that he would give her a gold medal as she is very kind. So he made this gold medal. Very nice Momo-chan!

Fishing done

Momo-chan did fishing second from the last. Can you see the candy bag fallen on the floor?

Att the end of the party, there was fishing activity. Kids fish for a bash of candies. They were all very excited.

Lego Momo-chan

While other kids were playing outside Momo-chan was focused building Lego car together with Pinga. Here's the end result. Good job Momo-chan!

Birthday party

Momo-chan's friend turned 4 and there was a birthday party. 6 kids and 2 babies were there.

雪だ！ Remaining snow

Snow from yesterday quickly disappeared. Here's Momo-chan enjoying walking and stamping on the remaining snow.

Trains are fun!

Boys had fun with Shinkansen together.

Little kitchen helper

They had two visitors after all others went back home as they thought it would start at 18 instead of 14. So they had dinner together instead. Pinga cooked mabo dofu and Momo-chan's friend helped her just like Momo-chan usually does.

サプライズお茶会 Surprise tea party

Pingu planned surprise birthday party for Pinga. Pinga thought there will be three guests but instead 22 people came. Pingu baked semla (those buns with cream and marzipan in between) and guests liked them.

Vollmers

Pingu had a birthday surprise for Pinga as well. He took her to this very nice restaurant in Malmö for 8 courses dinner. This is the very last dish. Apple doughnut with citrus thyme fudge on it. Mmm delicious!

Birthday celebration at work

Pinga colleague celebrated Pinga with cake and presents this afternoon. They knew Pinga likes Mooomin so she got those nice Mooomin things. It's because of a Swedish tradition to celebrate birthday with 0 as a milestone birthday.

Pinga brought pretzel home from Frankfurt. It was tasty.

Transferring in Frankfurt

Pinga changed plane in Frankfurt. As there were 4 hours, they had nice lounge time.

Cebiche by the beach

Pinga's last meal in Mexico was fish cebiche. It was tasty and the portion was big. So Pinga shared with her colleagues and they were happy. Quickly went back to hotel after this lunch got on the ferry, taxi and arrived at the Cancun airport around 5 pm.

Hello iguanas

Can you see there are two iguanas in this picture? It's just outside of Pinga's hotel room.

Daiquiri

Pinga is a big fun of margarita but she found mango or strawberry daiquiri more tasty. She ordered mango one this evening.

No clear sunset

Unlike yesterday they couldn't see beautiful sunset. It was a bit too cloudy like this.

Heavy rain

It started to rain all lot at lunch time. Here beach club Tarzan staff are seeing even more parasol. They have special tool for digging a hole to put the parasol and Pinga got curious.

Coconut drink

Pinga got this coconut tequila drink. It was mostly coconut water and very tasty!

イグアナ Iguana at the hotel

This iguana was at their hotel. If you don't scare them, they are mostly static so you can take a good photo.

Beach day

Pinga and her friends have been doing many things. Today they will take it easy on the beach doing nothing. They are just by the beach and in the shade. Let's hope Pinga doesn't get skin problem.

Sunset

Pinga is concerned about home as Pingu is having fever. But she will be away from home for two more days. They were at the beach looking at the sun going down.

Hello Isla Mujeres

By the ferry from Cancun, they arrived to Isla Mujeres, beautiful small island.

Bye bye Tulum

Pinga and colleagues left Tulum for Island Mujeres by bus at noon. It was a nice town with nice restaurants.

Crocodile eyes

Yesterday while they were on a canoe looking for monkeys, they saw crocodile eyes surfaced on the water. Can you see them to the right of the canoe? It went down when they came closer.

Mexican breakfast

Pinga chose a Mexican dish for breakfast. It was this big and very tasty too. It is not unusual she chooses not so good dish compared to others, so she was very happy. She cannot recall the dish name but it's tortilla chips with sauce and beef. She  spent a bit of time removing coriander though...

Going down

After enjoying the view, they went down. As each step was quite high, it was scary...

Climbing...

Pinga and get colleagues climbed this 24m pyramid. Going down was more scary than going up, of course.

Kids bikes

They had kids bikes for hire as well. Pinga was thinking of Momo-chan.

Rent a bike

As the site was big and buildings spread in the site, they rented a bike and followed their guide person.

Cenote de Coba

After the archeological site, the tour took them to this cenote. It was not misanthropic people at all. They had cozy time jumping to and swimming in the cenote.

Punta Laguna

They had lunch and then went to see spider monkeys at Punta Laguna. There they saw many wild spider monkeys.

Mayan ruins of Coba

It was another day of Mayan ruin and cenote visiting for Pinga. Unlike chichen itza, people can still climb the pyramid in Coba.

Chichen Itza

Pinga rode bus for two hours and arrived at Chichen Itza. She and her colleagues were so excited about it. Here's their Mayan guide person explaining.

天文台 Observatory

Mayan civilization had so high technology. Architecture, mathematics, and so on. Here's observatory building.

Jaguar

There were many reliefs on the wall and some statues. Here is jaguar.

Ruins and ocean

Tulum ruins are just by the ocean. Mayan people must have enjoyed great ocean view.

Iguanas

There are many iguanas at the ruins. It was not so easy to spot them as they have similar colour to the ruins.

To Tulum ruin

This tractor train was bringing people back and force to Tulum ruin. Unfortunately timing didn't match abs Pinga couldn't ride it.

Big fish by the shore

Can you see there are big fish just by the shore?

Akumal beach

Pinga did snorkeling twice and saw the turtles, three sting rays and many fish. She wanted to take a photo to show Momo-chan but she was worried that the phone could be broken so didn't dare to bring it into the sea...

Breakfast tacos

Pinga choose tacos with egg, chorizo and mushroom as her breakfast. It was tasty and the restaurant was just by the sea.

Meeting turtles in Akumal

They took a mini van (collective transportation) with local people and reached Akumal. Akumal is famous as home for turtles.
