Writing gala

There was this writing gala event at Momo-chan's school. Twins followed Pinga and came to the gym as well.

Water park

Twins were at water park and there was water this time. So they were happy.

Happy face and happy song

Coco-chan started to do this happy face with two fingers. Their nanny filmed him singing happy song as well.

English bay

They took a walk with their nanny to English bay this morning. It was cloudy but they enjoyed the walk.

This is three of them just before Momo-chan leaving for school. They were happy after nikuman breakfast.

Before the haircut

Pinga cut QP-chan's hair as it grew very long. Here's how it looked before.

Little shopping helper-part II

QP-chan wanted to help out too but the bag got a bit heavier by nattou and tofu.

They went to While Foods to buy some things after dinner. Coco-chan wanted to help carrying. Good job Coco-chan!

Meeting Jasmine

They had lunch guests and one of them was this dog Jasmine. She is a mix of schnauzer and poodle. She is calm and good but curious. All the kids got very excited to have her.

Morning kiss

After Pinga brushes her hair, QP-chan brought the hair brush and went to the bear. She brushed its hair, or more like head, and kissed it.

Balloon cat

There was a fundraising festival at Momo-chan's school so they went. There were hotdogs, popcorns, bouncy castle, ballon art and other things. Pinga got cat for Coco-chan and bunny for QP-chan. QP-chan broke here in no time but the cat is still almost in tact.

They have a new nanny from this month. She took this photo as she thought it's sweet they fell asleep in the same pose.

June but cloudy

June started today but the weather is not that great. But it was ok weather in the morning and twins went out for a walking with sunglasses.

Eevie under the desk

Mini husky Eevie was under Pinga's desk this morning. She is usually at her neighbor but good to have her sometimes.

Serious building Coco-chan

Coco-chan was very focused on building blocks and didn't want to change to pyjama. You can see how much he has built.

“Mine” says QP-chan

Twins are already speaking three languages. They seem to choose easiest words to say. For example, car is bil which is in Swedish. Here is koko which is Japanese. And mine is mine in English as you can see in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_szTEpqfB4

Bumpy tree

Near the Stanley Park, there is this bumpy tree Momo-chan usually climbs. Twins enjoyed playing with it too.

Mother QP-chan

Today QP-chan started acting as mother for the stuffed animals. First she put them in the high chairs, then she fed them with a spoon. Later she put one on the toilet which did not go as intended. 

Therapy dog Meatball

While they were taking a walk, they met This bulldog Meatball. She is a therapy dog and goes to hospital with her owner. She is very friendly but as you can see, twins were nervous.

After dinner

Door to Momo-chan's room is usually closed so twins takes advantage whenever the door opens. Both of them notices small bouquet and pointed out. Then of course, QP-chan started to climb. So Pinga and Momo-chan has to get them out.

Pingu and Pooh

Business analyst event

Pinga went to this seminar after work. The speaker was good and it was good to network with professionals with similar interest.

Wedding anniversary

It was Pingu and Pinga's 12th wedding anniversary. Momo-chan and Pingu came home with lots of flowers.

Hanging twins

After dinner, they went out for a grocery shopping. On the way, there's this place QP-chan always hangs. Coco-chan joined her today.

My neighbour Totoro 隣のトトロ

It was twins' first time to watch Totoro movie. They were very excited and enjoyed it a lot. They could almost say "Totoro" too.

Afternoon tea

It was Momo-chan's first time having afternoon tea. The tea flavour he chose was vanilla ice cream and he liked it. He put sugar cube or honey and made it to his taste. He also liked scones.

Here's Momo-chan with penguins in the background. Penguins were just standing and not loving much.

Cat Momo-chan and Coco-chan

Momo-chan was playing as a cat whose name is Mochi and Coco-chan joined him.

To the aquarium

Momo-chan has no school today so Pinga took them to aquarium. Twins walked more than half way to there. Momo-chan was helping Pinga taking care of the twins.

Tangled twins

This was twins this morning. Coco-chan usually sleeps on his own but he moved to Pingu and Pinga's bed early morning. They sleep well together even though they are this close. Coco-chan usually wakes up early around 8 and QP-chan sleeps until later.

Squirrel!

Coco-chan was saying "Su! Su!" to Pinga. First she couldn't understand but she notices he was pointing to a squirrel which is "risu" in Japanese. Twins love animals just like Momo-chan.

QP-chan falling asleep

After the water park, Coco-chan quickly fell asleep but QP-chan demanded more snack. While she was eating it, she got very sleepy. Here you can see her falling asleep.

Water park

As they were active and not sleepy, Pinga took them to Coal Harbour water park. As it was sunny, there were many people. Twins and Pinga got unexpectedly wet walking through the fountains.

At Coal Harbour park

They went out for an afternoon walk and came to Coal Harbour park. Coco-Chan first sat on it and wanted QP-chan to come so here they are swinging together.

On the big kids swing

QP-chan took baby swing and Coco-chan wanted to be on bigger kids swing. To Pinga's surprise, he had almost no problem swinging on it. They are growing fast!

On the armrest

Pinga thinks me and QP-chan has many similarities. For example, while she's sleeping you can hear her heavy breathing almost like snoring. She's very cuddly. Also she likes to be like this on a couch!

Grocery shopping

After dinner they took a walk to a supermarket. Twins can walk much more these days. They wanted to help Pingu carry but pingu thought they were adding weight.

Helping QP-chan

QP-chan loves buttons. Mostly to unbutton them but tonight she wanted to help her brother button up his pajama. 

Measuring

Momo-chan wanted to use a steel tape measure. So he and Pinga took measurements of the twins. Coco-chan is 97.5 cm and QP-chan is 97.4 cm. Lastly, twins helped and measured Momo-chan. He is 129.5 cm tall. Twins liked the activity and wanted to be measured again and again.

Another sunny day

It was another's very nice day. They took a walk around sea wall.

Swinging together

As the bigger kids swings were occupied, Momo-chan came and joined baby swings.

Canada geese family

There were Canada geese families with babies. There were people feeding them and one nice lady gave Momo-chan and twins seeds for feeding. They enjoyed feeding them.

Rhododendron

It's sunny today as well so they headed for Second Beach in Stanley Park. On the way, many flowers were blooming and here's QP-chan holding light pink rhododendron.

Curry soba

It's usually curry udon but it was curry soba. Mimi-chan and twins liked it and ate well.

Dogwood flowers

It was very nice and sunny. Pinga made sandwiches and they went to Stanley Park. On the way there, these pink flowers were blooming. Pinga guesses these must be dogwood flowers her friend mentioned. She googled later and yes, they are dogwood flowers.

Bath time fun

Twins had extra fun with their new water guns this afternoon. They were tired from the trip and not in a good mood in the morning though.

Lunch in Chinatown

Pinga had very nice lunch with her Italian friend. They went to Pinga's Italian classmate's food place and she makes this delicious gelato. Pinga picked chocolate balsamic and her friend had toasted coconut.

Jacaranda

Last day in L.A. and they went to a park near by. It's jacaranda season so they saw lots of them blooming. This flower reminds Pinga of her UCLA days.
