Let's go home

Pinga picked twins up later than usual as she had doctor's appointment. They were happy as they wanted to eat afternoon snack at daycare. There was not enough time to go sledding before leaving for dance class.

Ice skating again

Twins and Pinga went ice skating again today. They had fun but QP-chan got frustrated as she couldn't skate like other kids. Let's hope they'll get the hang of it soon.

Ice skating

After sledding, they went to this frozen pond to join their friends ice skating. It was their first time this winter. They had fun.

Sledding again

As usual, they went to a nearby hill for sledding. Then they found out their friends are ice skating.

Ice cube by Coco-chan

Coco-chan made this ice cube at daycare. It has glitter, leaf, and other things in it.

Sledding twins

It was cold today as well and the snow is staying. So they went to a nearby hill for sledding. There were no other kids although it was not snowing.

Long walk in town

Pinga had an hour and a half walk with her friend and her dog Astrid. It was a beautiful day but very cold with the highest temperature of the day being minus.

To the post

They walked to a post to put in a letter for Pingu. Mono-chudid a good job leading twins and keeping them safe.

Cat lover Momo-chan

All the kids love the cats. Coco-chan is very careful with them but Momo-chan and QP-chan loves to hold them and pet them. So here is Momo-chan holding Totoro.

Minus temperature all day

It didn't get to plus temperature today. So it was very cold but good for sledding. After daycare, they had fun at a nearby hill together with their friends.

Snowy afternoon

It started snowing heavily in the afternoon. They went sledding after daycare. Momo-chan was already there having fun with sled.

Setsubun demons

One day late but they did throwing of soy beans to welcome spring and wished for family health. Momo-chan and Coco-chan volunteered to become demons. All others threw soy beans saying "Demons out, happiness in!"

Sleepy QP-chan

Pinga made waffles for breakfast but only Momo-chan was up. Coco-chan was sleeping on Pinga's bed and QP-chan was in dreamy land as well. Pingu placed dragon like this but QP-chan didn't react and kept sleeping. Zzz...

Sledding fun

Coco-chan came back home from dentist but no one was at home. Coco-chan found them on a small hill nearby. It was getting dark but Momo-chan and QP-chan were having fun going down the slope. Coco-chan was a bit scared but joined QP-chan like this.

Dentist again

Coco-chan was at the dentist listening to dental hygienist talking about the tools they use and how they sound. She also took x-ray of his teeth. It went all well up until she did anesthesia shot. He cried and they decided to do this rehearsal again before fixing his cavity.

Sledding Momo-chan

Momo-chan loves to go down the hill with a Sleige. They wanted to buy one but it's sold out everywhere. Luckily he could borrow from neighbours.

When Pinga came to pick them up, QP-chan was pulling Coco-chan. Snow brings so much fun to kids.

More snow

They woke up to white scenery three days in a row. There was even more snow this morning.

Dentist for QP-chan

Pinga took QP-chan to dentist this time. She has one hole to be fixed just like Coco-chan. Their next appointment is to learn the environment and tools dentist uses. Then after that, another appointment to fix the problem.

Cozy friend

Totoro likes to be by the office window. He was there quietly while Pinga sits by the computer.

Snowy morning

It was cold and snowy this morning. QP-chan said that she saw an animal. Coco-chan and Pings couldn't see it but then it came out again. It's brown and black, fluffy and size of a cat or medium sized dog. Pinga has not seen something like that before.

Social cat Inez

Inez loves to be around people. Also, she is very interested in human food. So the dessert time looked like this. Pinga wants her chair back though.

Walk with friends

Pinga had a birthday walk with her friends. One of the friends cane with this cute schnauzer, Astrid. They wslked for an hour and a half.

Black forrest cake

In the afternoon, they celebrated Pinga with this black forrest cake. Well, it's Swedish version so much more cream and not much cherries.

Birthday lunch

As it was Pinga's birthday, Pingu took her out for lunch. The restaurant has been renovated and the food was better too.

Happy Momo-chan

Momo-chan was happy to see twins and Pinga in the morning. He was also happy receiving some Japanese sweet and candies.

Dead tired

It was around 8 pm and they needed to get to the gate but the twins were very tired. Pinga woke them up and made them walk as she couldn't carry both of them. They were unhappy and cranky.. 

Rented cart

They were done with the Covid test before noon. There was 9 hours to the flight. Pinga rented this cart to entertain twins and walked around the airport.

Stranded in Frankfurt for half day

Just before boarding the flight to Copenhagen, Pinga found out that Denmark now requires all the people coming to the country to have negative Covid-19 test result within 24 hours. So they couldn't fly as planned and went to the test central. The result was negative but they had to wait until their changed flight at 9 pm.

In Frankfurt

They've landed in Frankfurt just around 5am. They were active as they could sleep 8-9 hours on the flight.

Sound asleep

Pinga sat in the middle and twins quickly fell asleep while the flight was leaving Haneda. As it was not at all crowded, Pinga moved one of them to the seats in front and they could occupy three seats each.

Not sleepy?!

It was 0:30 but twins were not so sleepy when they've just boarded. They wanted to watch movies and play games.

Leaving Tokyo

After five weeks, they left Tokyo. Coco-chan wants to stay in Tokyo forever so he was not that happy leaving. QP-chan on the contrary is looking forward to seeing the cats and the family. The flight was very late at 1 am and Pinga was concerned but twins were up when they boarded.

Birthday lunch

Pinga's best friend took her to birthday lunch to this Japanese restaurant. Dishes were beautifully presented and delicious as well.

Police Coco-chan

Coco-chan was happy with his new toy. Handcuff and a hand gun. Here he is arresting his favourite friend.

Serious thinking

There was a birthday dinner at a French restaurant. After dinner, kids were serious about choosing cakes. QP-chan chose raspberry cake, Coco-chan gateau chocolat, and Pinga Montblanc.

New family member?

They got this big polar bear from a gentleman that was at the game arcade. Pinga and her friend were looking at this gentleman trying to fetch this polar bear. He almost got it but not succeeded. Then he got it after 3 or 4 tries. Pinga went to check it out and he gave it to her. What a nice surprise.

Game arcade fun

Twins had fun at game arcade. This game required to jump to go forward.

Steak dinner

They went to a steakhouse for dinner. Unfortunately kids plate steak was tough to chew...

Karaage lunch

They had gone made karaage, fried chicken, lunch. It was so tasty!

Onsen

They went to onsen, Uhara no yu, in the evening. They had dinner and bathed in hot springs. It was very nice and relaxing.

Making sausages

Coco-chan tried making sausages with his favourite friend. They had good teamwork and did great job.

Dancing QP-chan

They went to KidZania two days in a row. They loved trying different things and learning new things. QP-chan did this dancing performance two days in a row.

Little firefighters

After being police officers, they became firefighters. They were on the fire engine and arrived at a building that was on fire. Here they are in action.

KidZania - soap factory

Twins went to visit KidZania to experience different kinds of occupations. They started off working at a soap factory.

Sushi chef Coco-chan

They went to KidZania today. There they can experience different occupations. Coco-chan tried making sushi while QP-chan joined dance activity.

Arima onsen

They've arrived in Kobe and Pinga's friend took them to Arima onsen. Pinga's friend has an 11 years old daughter that is so good with twins.

Shinkansen for the first time

Twins and Pings took Shinkansen train from Tokyo station. Their destination is Kobe. It would be a 2.5 hour ride.

Onsen area

Hawaiians has an onsen area where people go in with their bathing suits on. Twins and Pings went to this area on the second day.

Futon professionals

They were at their room after dinner. Then there came ladies to set up futon. They were very efficient and took no time to set up four sets of futons.
