Åre bergbana

There is a funicular called Åre bergbana to go down to Åre village. So they took it to have lunch in the village.

Long queues at lifts

It's Monday but many people on the slopes. They all came to Åre side from Björnen. Åre side is nice as there are chair lifts. Björnen side has almost all T-bar and single person bar. As you can see in the photo, queue was long everywhere.

Last run

While Momo-chan was skiing with Pingu on Åre slopes, twins and Pinga practiced on Björnen side. They took an afternoon break but back on the slope again at 15:30. The lifts stop at 16:30. This photo was taken at 16:15.

Day one of skiing

Twins were a bit scared at the beginning but after a couple of slopes, they were fine.

Ready to go to bed

The compartment can take up to six people. Momo-chan decided to sleep up above and QP-chan in the middle. Coco-chan insisted that he sleep with Pinga on the bottom bed. Momo-chan got warm and came to the bottom level in the end.

Snälltåget

It was stormy and Pinga was worried if the train ran as planned but it came. So they got on this night train and now on their way to Åre.

Preparing for ski trip

Here are twins trying out goggles. They are very excited for the trip.

Stockholm central station

Pinga was done with the intense two day SAFe course and finally on the ay home. She thought the station is nice and colourful and took this photo. But the trip home was a tough one as the x2000 train was shakey and Pinga got seriously motion sick.

Stockholm from up above

Pinga was flying to Stockholm from Copenhagen. When approaching to Stockholm, she could see icy water and fjords. But it was unusually warm with 6 degrees in Stockholm.

Football twins

As usual, Sunday starts with football training. They were in Södra Sandby joining the training. They sometimes became mischievous but overall, they did a good job.

Japanese school

As usual, twins were at the Japanese school. Pinga observed lessons today. This was their lunch break. They were watching a video clip of Shogi cats.

Forehead tattoo QP-chan

QP-chan loves to go and play with her friends who are twins. She came back with this tattoo on her forehead.

Dinner time

Pinga looked back and Inez was sitting together with Coco-chan. Coco-chan was making space for her as she doesn't move. Dinner was udon noodle and maybe she wanted some?

Two teeth gone

QP-chan came back from gymnastics course with one less tooth. She was eating lunch with very unstable tooth. So Pingu pulled it out. Then she looked like this. They were the third and fourth child teeth that came out.

Icy playground

At the Japanese school, twins were playing with their classmates at the break. It was sunny but very cold and puddles were frozen.

To Copenhagen

It's Saturday so they are on their way to the Japanese school. Breakfast on the train and then homework.

Ceramic studio again

Momo-chan and Pinga went to paint ceramics again in Malmö. It's run by Pinga's friend. Momo-chan did excellent job painting this pot. Pinga is thinking of using it in the kitchen. They are looking forward to seeing their work after being baked.

Origami teacher QP-chan

QP-chan said to Pinga she'd like to teach her how to make a box. Here she is showing her how to do it. She was a good teacher and Pinga was impressed.

Cute demons

February second is Setsubun in Japan. It's to celebrate one day before the spring. They throw soybeans to demons to keep evilnout of the house.

Here are twins sharing a cookie in a funny way.

Walk with Astrid

Pinga took a long walk with her friend and her dog, Astrid. She is a happy and friendly miniature schnauzer. It was cold but they walked for an hour and a half.

Almost home

As they need to wake up early, they are quite tired after the Japanese school. Coco-chan fell asleep on the bus and QP-chan was very sleepy too.

On the way to Copenhagen

Here are twins on the train to Copenhagen. It was still dark when they left home. While Coco-chan was working on the homework until the last minute, QP-chan just gave up and put the books away.

Foam objects pool

Not sure what this is called but twins had fun jumping into this space. They spent almost two hours at this trampolin park.

At a trampolin park

Twins were at a trampolin park called Jump with Pinga. Probably because it's Friday, it was crowded. Pinga was jumping with them but noticed that there were just a couple of adults jumping around.

Sending a letter ✉️

Twins wrote letters to Pinga's parents at the Japanese school. So here's Coco-chan putting them to the post.

Playing with cousin

QP-chan had fun playing with her cousin. She is two years younger than the twins but she is now about the same size as them.

Birthday cake

It's Pinga's birthday so they had relatives over and had dinner together. Then it was time for the cake. Coco-chan liked the passion fruit chocolate cake but QP-chan didn't like it. Momo-chan just said he didn't like it and didn't even taste the cake. Coco-chan liked it a lot.

Tiger Momo-chan

Twins friend forgot this tiger tail and Momo-chan wanted to try it on. You know that Momo-chan was born in the year of tiger.

Chess with Momo-chan

It was Pinga's first time playing chess. Momo-chan said he could teach her and he did a good job.

Birthday flowers

They came back hole from Copenhagen Japanese school and found this flower at the door. Pinga's work sends flowers on birthdays. Very nice!

Stop motion movie

When Pinga came to pick twins up, Coco-chan was making a stop motion movie. He was moving Lego persons big by bit. Pinga saw the short movie and it was very well done.

Shopping helpers?

They went shopping after badminton. Coco-chan wanted to ride the shopping cart and Pinga got a bit annoyed.

Badminton twins

Sunday afternoon is badminton for twins. Pinga and other parents got explanation about their coaching method, Best on court. So the parents will try to support the kids get better at it.

Semla Momo-chan

Momo-chan chose semla. Then he bought a milkshake with coffee flavor saying he likes coffee.

Milkshake time

They went to have doft ice cream but the machine was broken. So they tried the milkshake. QP-chsn first said she didn't want it but she drank it well too.

Presents from Tokyo

Twins were pleasantly surprised by these big tea coushions coming out from one of the suitcases. Momo-chan and Pinga came back with three of these. They are presents from Pinga's dad's cousin family.

To Haneda airport

Momo-chan and Pinga are on their way to Haneda airport now. Pinga's parents are so nice and giving them a ride even though it's very early in the morning.

Shabu Shabu dinner

The last dinner in Tokyo was shabu shabu. It was to celebrate Pinga and Pinga's dad's birthday but Momo-chan decided the dish. They were at a Japanese restaurant for 90 minutes wat as much as you can shabu shabu. Everyone enjoyed it and became very full.

Whale shark blanket

Where is Momo-chan? Oh no, he is eaten up by the whale! He received this whale shark blanket by the neighbor family and was so happy.

Hotpot Momo-chan

Momo-chan went for swimming with Pinga this afternoon. They had hotpot for dinner. Momo-chan liked mentaiko, chikuwa and noodle.

Sendai fish market

The hotel gave them a ride to Sendai station. Then they went to a fish market. Momo-chan was fascinated by different kinds of fish.

Breakfast Momo-chan

Momo-chan had breakfast in yukata. He just ate two croissants. Pinga wanted hin to eat more varieties of food but he was not interested. Then he went to bathe in onsen and checked out of the hotel.

Akiu waterfall

It's lot easy to see but there's waterfall behind Momo-chan. It is chosen as one of the 100 beautiful waterfalls in Japan.

Dinner Momo-chan

It was Japanese dinner and Momo-chan ate very well.

Onsen Momo-chan

Here's Momo-chan on his way to onsen. He can put on yukata by himself.

Destination Sendai

They took Shinkansen to get to Shinkansen and then bus to Akiu onsen. Monorail was excited to be on Shinkansen.

Sumida aquarium

After the sky tree, they went to Sumida aquarium. They had fun looking at jelly fish, eal, penguins, fish, etc. They had to quickly leave as Pinga needed to work in the evening.
