Steak dinner

Yesterday evening was steak dinner. Momo-chan and his cousin sat opposite each other and was talking and enjoying themselves.

Coconut leave art

Their Japanese guide was very friendly and also very good at making shapes of coconut leaves.

Lookout spot

After the snorkeling they visited this nice lookout spot and took some photos.

Coconut drink break

They went into the jungle to this fruit farm and was served fresh coconut drink. They also ate the white fruit meat with some soy sauce, tasty! There were birds around and they eagerly awaited the coconut leftovers.

Japanese command post

They briefly visited the last Japanese command post from the fighting in world War two. Here Momo-chan is sitting on top of a Japanese tank.

Best Saipan view

Last visit was a visit to the highest spot on the island. It has a great view and here you can even see their hotel sticking up in the town of Garapan below.

Their guide also made these decorations for Momo-chan which are worn by local boys when they dance traditional dances.

Eco adventure tour start

Early this morning they went on a tour that started with snorkeling in a grotto. Momo-chan was a bit scared at first but the guides were very kind and it was very nice and beautiful. They were the only customers on this tour so it felt very luxurious.

Close to six o'clock, the sun was setting.

Here's serious swimming Momo-chan. He had swimming practice in Seattle and this time, he could swim like this alone for a short distance. Good job Momo-chan!

As it was close to their hotel, they went to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. It is really humid and warm.

Saipanda

Arrived in Saipanand they went to have dinner at a nearby building that has shops. There they found this big panda. Saipan panda -> Saipanda!

Haircut

Momo-chan went to a hair salon with Pinga to get his hair cut. It got much shorter. He got complement from the hairstylist as he was sitting well without moving much.

Driving back to Tokyo

Here's Momo-chan a bit bored with more than two hours drive back to Tokyo from Yuzawa.

Maitake tempura

As Momo-chan liked maitake tempura, Pinga ordered it again for the lunch next day. All three of them enjoyed this tasty dish.

Soba dinner

They went to have dinner at their favorite soba restaurant, Tabataya. Momo-chan ate noodles quite well. He liked maitake mushroom tempura too.

Disc golf in Maiko

Pingu enjoyed it much and is thinking of buying discs so that he could play it again in Lund.

Disc golf

They tried playing disc golf for the first time. Ski park is turned into disc golf hauls until winter comes. Momo-chan enjoyed it too. He could throw the disc very well sometimes.
