View of Lund

Pingu and Pinga took Pinga sister and her husband to St. Hans hill to see a view of Lund town. They got excited to see wild rabbits there.

Nimis

After a rather adventurous walk they all reached the treesculpture on the beach called Nimis. It is quite unique.

View of Mölle

On the way down from Kullaberg, they stopped to enjoy the view of the coastal village Mölle.

Kullaberg

They are now at the northwest tip of Skåne. It is a nice view and the wind is almost still.

Iitala outlet

Pinga's sister and husband is visiting at the moment. They came yesterday evening. Right now they are in Hōganäs. There is a famous ceramics company there and they have an outlet store. Moomin goods are sold which Pinga loves.

Tiny

The kitten at Pingu and Pinga's friend is so tiny. Look at Pingu's hand and compare.

Midsummer?

It's called midsummer but it rained and hailed! Pingu and Pinga are at their friend's place and they were grilling.

The nameless kitten

Pingu and Pinga are visiting a friend to celebrate midsummer. This little kitten is a temporary tenant at that friend. Ain't she a cutey?

Guarding

Pinga is reading a book and I am making sure I am close in case something would happen to her.

I want out

Pingu and Pinga have had me locked up since they moved to the new apartment. It is getting boring and I am trying to show them by staying by the front door and meowing. They don't seem to understand. Once I managed to escape into the building hallway but Pingu caught me.

Exclusive strawberries

Pingu and Pinga's friends brought Swedish strawberries for dessert. Due to recent night frost many berries were destroyed. Therefore are Swedish strawberries rare and very expensive right now.

Almost midsummer sushi

Pinga made tasty sushi rolls again. Pingu and Pinga's friends liked it a lot.

Fish hassle

As Pinga and Pingu planned to make sushi and invite friends, they went to buy fish during lunch time. Lunch break was short and there was a line at the fish wagon. Many people were there to buy herring for Midsummar. Pinga was unhappy with the service she got from one of the guys at the fish wagon but in any case she got the fish...

In chains...

Pingu and Pinga got something for me that I don't like. They have a plan to go walking with me but I can't walk comfortablly with this thing on. I tried to back out of it but it didn't come off.

Sunbathing

Yes, i am a Swedish cat. When it's sunny, I run for the sunny spots.

Asparagus pie

Pinga got these very big asparagus from her colleague again. This time she made pie with them. I want to taste them too!

I love my birthday present

Hmm comfortable...it's even better if Pinga or Pingu pets me.

Hen party

Pinga is in Malmö with her friends celebrating her friend who's going to get married next month.

Nitzer ebb live!

Second time this year, Pingu got the pleasure to see one of his musical heroes live on stage. Nitzer ebb played in Malmö yesterday. Today Pingu is extremely tired but glad.

Buffet dinner

After the wine tasting, Pinga went to a nice restaurant for dinner. It was Swedish buffet style. Pinga and her colleagues enjoyed it a lot. This is a photo of a cold meet table. Meet meet meet! Pinga thought Pingu would be very happy to be there.

At the pet shop

When Pingu and Pinga were looking for presents for me, they found this piggy that sounds just like the real one. Scary...glad that they didn't choose this.

The second present is tough to figure out. There is cat candy coming out of a plastic ball but I don't know what to do. Maybe sniff it?

Pingu and Pinga gave me birthday presents two days late but that is ok. I took liking directly to this nice blanket. Comfy!

Happy birthday to me!

Today is my 11th birthday. I am glad to be back from the cat hotel and since Pinga is working from home today I get to use her as my pillow. Great present!

Relaxing at home

Pingu came to get me this morning and I am back at home. It's a pity Pinga parents are leaving tomorrow. I miss being with them while Pingu and Pinga are at work.

Back in Skåne

Pingu and Pinga with the family are on their way home. They will come and get me tomorrow morning.

Dixi begs for cup cake

Pinga was targeted by Dixi in order to get some cake. Pinga gave in to the pressure as you can see.

Pingu's dad made a tasty cake for everyone.

Lots of balloons

At 1 pm thousands of balloons were released close to the palace. Swedish colors of course.

Guard change at the palace

Today is Sweden's national day. Pinga and Pingu with family visited the royal palace and caught a glimpse of the guard change.

Sunny but cold

It's sunny today but cold like in April. Pingu and Pinga are now heading for the Royal Palace.

Scary grafitti

Pingu found this huge grafitti painting on the side of an old building. Doesn't it look a bit scary?

Lunch with a view

Pingu and Pinga was treated to a very nice lunch at the Gondolen restaurant. It has a great view as you can see.

Swedish souveniers

While walking through Stockholm's old city they came across many shops with Swedish souveniers. These hats looked funny.

Stockholm city hall

Pinga's parents went for a tour of the city hall. Pingu and Pinga was standing in line for climbing the tower but the line was too slow. The tower is 106 meters so it is quite high.

Noisy students

At the moment, high school students all across Sweden are graduating. They celebrate by going around town on trucks with loud music playing. In Stockholm they cause a lot of traffic congestion.

Baby cat?

In the same building as Pingu's sister they found this cat sleeping in a baby stroller.

On the balcony

Pinga thought Lovis looks like maneki neko with his leg up like this.

Clever Lovis

Lovis jumped onto the table and started drinking milk from a glass using his paw. Pinga noticed and moved the glass to the floor. Clever Lovis right?

Waking up with Lovis

Lovis is getting used to Pingu and Pinga. Right now he is lying on the bed next to them.

Fika with a view

Unfortunatelly it's rainy, they are at a cafe with a great view of Stockholm.

Lovis says hi

Pinga and Pingu is staying at Pingu's sister's place. The sister has a cat called Lovis. This is him looking up at the breakfast table.

Dixi

Pingu's dad has a dog whose name is Dixi. This scene reminds Pinga of her parents' dog Deja-vu.

Approaching Stockholm

Pingu and Pinga are approaching Stockholm after seven hours of travel.

Polkagris in Gränna

Polka pig?

Gränna town is well known for its polka candy. It is often called polkagris which means polka pig. Pingu don't know why.

Brahehus view

They stopped to have lunch at Brahehus ruin which is by the lake side and with a great view.

Halfway to Stockholm

Pinga and family is driving up to Stockholm to meet Pingu's family. Right now Pinga is at the wheel.

Pub night

Pingu and Pinga are at the pub with their friends and Pinga parents. They've all met Pinga parents before in Tokyo so it's a reunion in Lund.

Gaming on the balcony

My family is playing game on the balcony. Pingu and Pinga dad became happy with ice cream as a game snack.

New carpet

Pinga parents gave this rug to us. It is very soft and comfy and I enjoy sleeping on it.
