Nishokudon

Pinga's mom made nishokudon for dinner. Nishoku means two colors in Japanese. Yellow is from egg and brown is from minced chicken. Red line is made by pickled ginger. It was very tasty. Stuffed mushroom was also delicious.

Hamburger lunch

Pinga and her mom had a tasty and voluminous lunch in town. Momo-chan was sleeping when they get there but woke up while they were eating. It must have smelled tasty too.

Dinner at Örenäs castle

Pingu and others had dinner at a castle restaurant as Pinga's mom is leaving on Saturday. Both main dishes and desserts tasted delicious.

On the way to Glumslöv Pingu stopped and took photos. It was good weather for taking photos but windy as usual.

At a supermarket

Pinga's mom came up with an idea to put Momo-chan on a shopping cart. Momo-chan got sleepy soon after he got on it. He was dressed warmly as it was just 10C degrees today.

Quiche

Pinga mother made tasty food today (as she does everyday in fact). This tasty quiche has broccoli and bacon in it.

Mother's day cake and gifts

Pinga was busy yesterday with preparing for mother's day. Pinga mother got this cake, flowers, chocolates and a card. Nicely made cake decoration Pinga!

Tick number two


Pinga's mother noticed that a tick had attached to my neck. This is the second one this year. I can not remove it myself so Pingu did it with some help from Pinga. Looks scary don't you think?

Shiroi koibito

We received these tasty snacks from Tokyo. Pingu and Pinga likes them a lot. They are called shiroi koibito (white lovers) and it is white chocolate inbetween crispy wafers. They are a speciality from Hokkaido in Northern Japan.

Skyping together


We skyped with Pinga father in Tokyo this weekend. Momo-chan and I was also in the call. I don't feel that comfortable being so close to Momo-chan but Pingu was holding me tight so I had no choice.

Mother's day waffles

Yesterday it was mother's day in Sweden and Pinga made waffles. Yum!

Smiling Momo-chan

Momo-chan is smiling a lot these days. You can also see that he has a double chin. Babies at around this age get rather rounded so nothing to worry about.

Wedding anniversary

On May 23rd Pingu and Pinga was celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary. Pinga made a cute and tasty cheesecake. And no it is not alcohol in those wineglasses but non alcoholic cider.

Momo-chan at Ikea

It's Momo-chan's first time to be at Ikea. Pinga and her mom had meatballs for lunch.

Home made gyudon


Pinga mother has been helping out a lot around the house during her stay. Pinga has been learning how to make many dishes from her mom. Today it was time to try out gyudon (beef bowl). It was very tasty and tender!

Music mobile


Momo-chan showed a lot of interest in the music mobile that is attached to his bed. He was staring at it a lot.

Tonkatsu


For dinner, Pinga mom and Pinga made a Japanese pork dish, tonkatsu. It was crispy outside and soft inside.

2 month health check


This is Momo-chan sleeping while waiting for his turn at the health care center for his 2 month check up. He became 10cm taller than when he was born and is 59cm and 5.1 kilos now.

Gyoza and shuumai


Pinga mom and Pinga made gyoza and shuumai. They turned out to be very tasty.

We had strange weather today. Cloudy, sunny, windy and sudden rain. Momo-chan, Pinga and Pinga's mom went out to do grocery shopping while the weather was ok. They made sushi dinner but they got too excited and missed taking a photo.

Quaint London back street

Pingu just finished work meetings for today. On the way to dinner he passed by this street and took a photo. The typically British houses look kind of small and cute.

Pingu is now on business trip in London. He checked into a hotel close to Waterloo station. The room is quite large and it feels lonely without Pinga.

Momo-chan was waiting for Pinga's mom at the station together with Pinga and fell asleep. It was nice and warm (18C) spring weather today.

Pinga's dinner


Pinga's dinner looked like this. Asparagus was delicious with slight sweetness to it!

Pinga received these giant asparagus from her former colleague today. It looked even bigger than the ones she received last year. They are not only good looking but very tasty!

A lounge with a view

Pingu is for the first time using his eurobonus gold status and spending some time in the SAS lounge at Copenhagen airport. There is of course danish beer here.

Sharing with Momo-chan

Because Pinga's mother is coming over soon, Momo-chan's bed was moved into the living room. I am very curious and it looked comfy so I decided to try it out. I was a bit surprised when Momo-chan came to lie in it too. I want to have it for myself!

Momo-chan received some nice clothes as present from a friend of Pingu and Pinga. Today was the first time for Momo-chan for trying on this T-shirt. It says Jolly Toddler and is quite cool.

Bathing

Momo-chan rather likes bathing I think. He is not screaming and he even smiles sometimes.

Through the cat door

I enjoy sleeping on Pingu and Pinga's bed until quite late in the day. On the other side of this cat door is the rest of the apartment and I run the risk of bumping into guests or screaming Momo-chan so I like to stay on the safe side.

Babybjörn babysitter

Pingu just got home with something new for Momo-chan. Well, it is actually used but anyway. It is a Babybjörn babysitter which is a kind of a rocking chair for babies. When Momo-chan moves the seat rocks gently and soothes him. Hopefully he will like it.
