Winter wonderland = Småland?

Pingu left me at the cat hotel yesterday. I even got a ride there from the owner. SInce I don't like cars I meowed a lot on the way like usual. Pinga and Momo-chan are now in Sunny California and Pingu drove to Stockholm today. Pingu found a rental car that needed driving back to Stockholm so it was free! On the way it became all snowy and white. Småland is usually colder and snow filled even when the rest is not so maybe a good winter wonderland don't you think? 

Arrived at day care

It was not rainy so Momo-chan's shoes were fine but he wanted you use this dirt removing equipment.
He went into the main play room happily as usual.

In the laundry drying cabinet

Momo-chan is small so he can go in many places. He was supposed to help Pinga put in clothes to the laundry machine but instead went into the drying cabinet and started to play.

Wiping Momo-chan

Momo-chan likes to clean. He was wipingthe millor yesterday.

Homemade gingerbreads

Pinga baked gingerbreads this afternoon as Pingu's feather, his wife and his brother came foot afternoon tea. It turned out to be good!

Christmas present

Momo-chan received an early Christmas president from his friend. Opened it and he became very happy as it was a mini car. Very nice!

Flashlight in the washing machine?

Momo-chan likes the flashlight. Yesterday he put it in the washing machine and closed the door. Pingu caught it in this photo. A bit scary don't you think?

Tylösand breakfast

Yesterday morning Pingu and Pinga slept so well at the spa hotel that they almost missed Pinga's massage appointment. Pingu went to breakfast and brought some for Pinga as well. This is the view from the restaurant.

Baked Alaska

A the beginning of December, Pingu went out to celebrate an award he received together with some other people for a short film they did. They ate at a restaurant in Lund called Meat. It was very tasty and here is the dessert, Baked Alaska. It was huge and the outside is meringue with ice cream on the inside. Yum!

Playing together

There were 4 years old girl and 2 years old boy. So Momo-chan had lots of fun.

Visiting Laotian family

They got invited for dinner at a family from Laos. It was very tasty and Pingu and Pinga have eaten too much!

I've posted before too but Lund town center is nicely decorated for Christmas and new year.

Momo-chan and Rally

Patient Rally

Rally is not like me. She doesn't run away from Momo-chan. She is very patient and kind to him.

Curious...

Both Momo-chan and Rally were curious about what Pingu's dad was doing.

Very friendly dog

One of the dogs, Rally, is very friendly. She came to Pinga and did a pet me attack.

Two dogs

Pingu's dad ad his wife took care of Momo-chan as Pingu and Pinga were away in Tylösand. Momo-chan had fun there as they have two dogs.

Christmas party

Pingu and Pinga are at Pinga's company's Christmas party this evening. They are having typical Swedish Christmas board.

Moshi moshi Pingu?

Momo-chan actually talked a bit on the phone today when Pingu called Pinga. But then he touched screen and hang up twice.

Pinga's shoe

These days if you leave Momo-chan just a while abs he starts to do things. Today he tried Pinga's training shoe.

Stockholm by night

Pingu is visiting Stockholm this week. It is cold and dark as in the the rest of Sweden but this view is very beautiful.

Water stream

It was raining a lot on the way back home but Momo-chan was in a playful mood chasing a water stream the rain has made. Here he is walking towards day care. So at the end Pinga carried him back home.

On the way to day care

Momo-chan likes branches. He picked them up and started playing. But Pinga wanted to take him to the day care as it was time for him to be there. Pinga carried Momo-chan at last.

Momo-chan the artist

Left top one is done by Momo-chan. Teacher said that he enjoyed painting. When he tried same kind of activity last time, he didn't draw much so Pinga felt that Momo-chan is growing.

Saint Lucia's day 聖ルシアの日

Pinga went to see Lucia event at day care this morning. Some kids were dressed in a white robe, Santa Claus clothes or gingerbread person costume. Momo-chan had a Santa Claus costume. Here they were lined up and doind their morning doll ritual. Then they sang songs.

Don't wanna go home

Pinga went to pick up Momo-chan but he was not in a mood for going home today. He went away from Pinga wanting to play some more.

Skumtomte = foam Santa Claus

Christmas is approaching and in Sweden, contractor companies provide Christmas candies at work. Pinga found this pink Santa Claus candy at a tea break room. It was like in between marshmallow and gummy. Sweet and chewy texture.

Homemade ginger bread

There were homemade ginger beads and Momo-chan liked them a lot. Here he is eating a rabbit shaped one.

New friend

Momo-chan met a one and a half month old baby this afternoon. He looked so small compared to Momo-chan. They have prepared a very nice afternoon tea for Pingu, Pinga and Momo-chan.

Many kids

Fiver kids including Momo-chan were at our place this afternoon. It started off calm as you can see in this photo but became noisy afterwards. I don't understand why kids are always interested in me and chasing me to pet me...

Cozy evening

Since Pinga's Swedish class was over yesterday, we're taking it easy. It's very windy and rainy outside.

Momo-chan got excited when Pinga came back home. He found her ID card and played with it. His favourite part is this extendable code attached to the card.

Fire alarm

Pinga had to evacuate as the fire alarm went of this morning. It was cold and felt like a long time being outside. 15 minutes and they could go back inside. It was caused by craftsmen doing renovation work on an elevator.

It looks like in the evening but pinga took this photo at 7:30 am when she arrived at work.

Pingu's reflector vest

Momo-chan found this vest and put it on and walking. It looked a bit like clothes from Roman period but with a super bright color.

It was tasty! Isn't there more? says Momo-chan... Well, he can't say that yet but he expressed that by body language.

Playing together

There were 13 kids at the fika. This boy is closer to Momo-chan's age. They were holding same kind of toy and smiling.

Advent fika

It's second advent today and Pinga and Pingu went to friends place for afternoon tea. Homemade saffron buns and glögg were very tasty.

Resting

Momo-chan is taking his lunch nap so I decided to do the same. It is at the top of a arm chair so I am safe if Momo-chan wakes up and comes chasing after me.

Out for a walk

So Momo-chan puts on his winter gear before he goes out to pay.

Anpanman socks

Momo-chan was starting at his new socks just before Pinga took this photo. He seemed to recognise Anpanman from the animation.

Maroon 5 concert

Pingu took Pinga to her favourite band's concert tonight. They missed the first song but they made it to the second song. Pinga was very happy.

New clothes Momo-chan

Pinga managed to capture Momo-chan before going to work. He is wearing new pants and socks that he received from Pinga's friend. Difficult to see from this photo but they are Anpanman socks!

Package from Pinga's friend

We received a package from Tokyo again. There were presents for Pingu, Momo-chan and Pinga. In the letter Pinga's friend wrote "sorry there's nothing for Scotch." That is sweet. Don't worry, I'm happy that you thought of me!
