A visit to a Hansa town?

No this is not an old German type of town but an area of the nearby Hjärup called Jakriborg. Today they all went there to visit friends.

Train car exhibition

Two old train cars have been converted by Brio and there you see Märklin train models,  some old game consoles and Barbie dolls.

Santa Claus toy factory

The basement of the Brio Lekoseum is filled with Santa Claus toy factory where you can watch Santa and his helpers make toys.

Trains everywhere!

Momo-chan and his friends enjoyed the large train play area.

The Brio Lekoseum in Osby

Pingu and Momo-chan went with some friends to visit the Brio Lekoseum in Osby, an hour away from Lund by train. Brio are a famous Swedish toy manufacturer.

Large boots

Momo-chan, those boots are too big for you. Momo-chan put them on when Pingu came to pickup him up from daycare.

Game evening

Pinga played game with colleagues this evening. It happened to be her favorite game Carcassonne. Pinga won it.

Bathtub haircut

Momo-chan's hair is growing longer so Pinga decided to do some cutting while Momo-chan was taking a bath. Why is Momo-chan sitting so still you wonder? Well, there is an Anpan-man animation playing.

The lightning ship

Momo-chan's daycare has a a ship-shaped play area which they have named lightning. Yesterday when Pingu went to pick up Momo-chan they ended up playing there for a while.

Baked sweet potato 初めての焼き芋

Together with Pinga, Momo-chan ate yakiimo. He liked it a lot. He watched Pinga peeling potato skin off and he wanted to try too.

Curry udon カレーうどん

Momo-chan likes Japanese style curry. Dinner was udon noodle with curry on top. He ate well.

After the lunch they went to this gallery. There was this very friendly dog Elton that liked Momo-chan. Momo-chan was a bit afraid or didn't really know how to deal with him.

Cebiche lunch

They were invited to their friends home for Peruvian lunch. He is Swedish but he lived in Peru for a long time and he knows much about Peru. Cebiche he prepared was delicious. Pinga was extra happy as there was no coriander in it. Momo-chan liked it and also the side dish cooked sweet potato. As it was very orange and the the texture was somewhat similar, he thought it's pumpkin.

Play station 3 game

They had guests for dinner. As there were two older kids and they wanted to play game, Momo-chan tried playing a game on play station 3 for the first time. At the beginning it was ok but it was a bit too difficult for him avd he started to do something else soon after.

Surprise dinner

Pingu's sister planned surprise birthday dinner for Pinga. Pinga had no idea and very much surprised. She enjoyed her time with her friends and Pingu's sister a lot.

Swan with raspberries

Pinga made this for Momo-chan. Well, swan choux is baked by her friend. Momo-chan was happy but he was mostly interested in raspberries.

Noren from Tokyo

They got this beautiful noren from Pinga's parents in Tokyo. Pinga has been longing for it so she is happy. So as Momo-chan and Pingu!

I want to watch some more

It was too exciting and Momo-chan didn't want to leave for daycare. But he biked on soon after.

What is this noise?

Momo-chan and Pinga were wondering about the noise while they were biking. They turned the corner and found this truck working. Very exciting for Momo-chan. He asked the guy who was working "What are you doing? (Vad gör ni?)" and he explained what he was doing.

Shinkansen

Pingu brought this shinkansen for Momo-chan. It's from Japan but it can move on Swedish BRIO rail. See how happy he is.

Sunny morning

It is unusual. There is sunshine four days in a row.

餃子作り making gyoza

Momo-chan know how to make gyoza. He came by to help Pinga.here he is putting water around the edge of the gyoza skin. He tends to put too much water but today he didn't. Good job Momo-chan!

Tarako = cod roe

Pingu came back home from Japan this evening. Pinga's mom bought so many things for them. One of the things Momo-chan got excited was this tarako. He opened it and wanted to taste it at once.

スーパーにて at a supermarket

Momo-chan helped Pinga at a supermarket. Shopping cart for kids was just the right size for Momo-chan. He helped by he also wanted many things that were not on Pinga's last. They met Pinga's old colleague there.

Pine cones 松ぼっくり

After lunch they went to a botanical garden. Arrived there and he found these pine cones.

Pilot Momo-chan

Momo-chan found these trees and he said he will fly to somewhere. Pinga asked him to fly to Tokyo.

Mischievous Momo-chan was hiding under this blog leaf.

Banana trees

In the warm house, there were banana tree, cacao tree and cinnamon tree. Not only Momo-chan but Pinga was curious. Their friend is very knowledgeable about plants and specially tropical plants as he lived in Peru for many years.

Huge cactus

In one of the rooms there were many different kind of cactus. Here's Momo-chan just after touching one of those big thorns.

Playdate

Momo-chan was at his friends place by himself this morning. As they spend much time together at daycare, Pinga thought it shouldn't be a problem leaving him at his home with his family. They had fun together.

Bike helmet

They went to check out bike helmets as Momo-chan had been saying he wants a red helmet. Here he is trying out Paul Frank one.

Ducks and pigeons

After the playground they went to check out the birds. Momo-chan wanted to feed then but they had no bread with them.

New playground

It was fantastic weather today. They were at Stadsparken. They have redone the playground and they did good job. Momo-chan had fun. There were so many people as it was sunny.

Playing outside

When Pinga went to pick Momo-chan up, he was playing outside with his friend. Pinga had been worried worried but his cold didn't get worse so that was good.

Dorarmon

Momo-chan found a new favorite animation. That is Dorarmon. He's watching ones online with Vietnamese subtitle with it.

Okonomiyaki Swedish variant

The restaurang at Pinga's work had Okonomiyaki for one of the lunch choice. As she talked to the personel at the restaurant about it, she dudecided to give it a try. Before start eating she removed coriander leaves a they are not her favorite. It tasted ok but definitely not really traditional or typical Okonomiyaki.

Mono-chan at daycare

Pinga found these photos posted on the wall of the daycare. It's not easy to know how he is doing at daycare but from the photos he seems to be enjoying it much. Well, we already knew Momo-chan likes daycare and his friends there.

Mono-chan likes to check out flowers. Here he was stopping to check out the snowdrops by the road.

Beating egg

As usual Momo-chan helped Pinga in the kitchen. Today he beat egg for the first time. He is doing more and more things.

Fried green banana

In the afternoon they went to see their friend in Eslöv. Their friend prepared this fried green banana, chifles, for afternoon snack. Pinga was very curious as she never tasted one before. It was crunchy and tasty.

Fishing candies

Att the end of the party, there was this fishing activity. Birthday girl's brother was behind the picture and he set candies or sandal on the fishing pole. All the kids asenjoyed it.

Birthday party

Neighbors daughter turned three so there was a birthday party. There were eight kids and one baby.

Hair dryer Momo-chan

As Pingu was not at home, Momo-chan tried blow drying his hair by himself. He did an ok job according to Pinga.

Big slider

After lunch they went to a playground nearby. Momo-chan enjoyed big seeing and then this blog slider.

Octopus

All the dishes there were delicious. Here's Momo-chan enjoying octopus. Pinga liked this seafood dish a lot too.

Inca kola

It was Pinga's first time to try Inca kola. It was very yellow, sweet and had unique flavor.

Peruvian restaurant

They were at this temporally Peruvian restaurant this afternoon. They open this restaurant at a community hall once every four week. Here's Momo-chan checking out Peruvian flag.

Flowers started to come out

Momo-chan was happy to find these flowers. There were orange one among all the white ones.
