Ready to go down

It was the last day of ski school at Felben for Momo-chan. So there was ending ceremony and medal giving. Here's Momo-chan ready to go down the hill. And the link to the video: https://youtu.be/wt2fM8sOscQ

Toboggan!

In the afternoon Pingu and Momo-chan did some toboggan riding behind the hotel. They both enjoyed it.

Horse drawn carriage

After today's pony ride there was another horse related activity; horse drawn carriage. Momo-chan got to sit on the driver's bench and was very happy.

There are many different activities for the kids at the hotel. There is pony riding almost every day. Momo-chan liked it at did at least 6 laps today.

Kite skiing?

On the way back to Mittersill, Pinga saw this person from the train. It's like Kite skiing. She has never seen something like this. Cool!

Walk along the lake

Pinga took a train and went to see her friend in Zell am See. They walked in to the center and along the lake. Pinga remembered it being frozen but her friend told her since a couple years back,  it doesn't get frozen. Global warming is here too.

Award giving ceremony

There was award giving ceremony afterward and first to third teams got medals. Then the photo at the end and Momo-chan just walked in and joined them. Momo-chan is used to the guy next to him as he takes care of kids as well.

Second round

Second round of the game is to move the disk upward this wooden board and get it inside of the drum at the end. Each person could throw 5 times and got 5 points each time it lands inside the drum. Pinga didn't get any in but Pingu did quite ok.

Curling game

Pingu and Pinga joined a kind of curling game after dinner. They were randomly paired as a team. You throw this metal disc with wooden handle towards point cards. You get the point of the card you hit. Pinga did well with this.

Walking in the woods

It was snowing but not blowing so they enjoyed refreshing walking in the woods.

Snow walk

The hotel organizes activities for adults as well. So Pinga joined snow walking this afternoon. There were six participants in total. It took 20 minutes or so to get to this starting point.

Ski school at the hotel

It was the second day at hotel's ski slope for Momo-chan. Here they are warming up before skiing. Unlike last winter, there were this many kids.

Clara the cow

The hotel mascot at Felben is this cow Clara. Pinga asked Momo-chan to do the same pause as Clara.

Tractor ride

Hotel has many fun activities. At four o'clock, they r did tractor ride. Pinga joined them too. It was heavily snowing but Momo-chan and others enjoyed it.

On the bus

Momo-chan was very tired from intense skiing and feel asleep on the bus like this. But shortly after the bus arrived at their stop and he woke up and could walk by himself. Good job Momo-chan!

How many eyes do I have?

Momo-chan still loves to try sunglasses on. He had four of them at once and asked Pinga 'How many eyes do I have?'

Good morning snowboard

Today Momo-chan stayed at the hotel to do ski school and other activities so Pingu was on the slopes by himself snowboarding. It started out with nice weather but at lunch it got foggy and heavy snowing. More snow is nice but it was tough to ski with reduced vision.

Even though they did a lot today,  Momo-chan still had a lot of energy and played a lot at one of the large hotel playrooms.

Good appetite

After all that skiing they bathed in the hotel pooland then they had dinner. Momo-chan had good appetite and ate a lot. Pinga was not so happy about her dishes and actually thought the kids selection was tastier.

Going down

After skiing,  lunch and more skiing they felt content and ready to return to the hotel. Momo-chan was skiing nicely but at the end it was very foggy and it was not easy skiing any longer.

It was quite foggy down by the gondola station but above the clouds, there was sun.

Snow cat

Momo-chan and Pinga made it into a cat snowman. It was not easy setting a nose.

Momo-chan wanted to lie on top of the half done snowman.

While waiting Pingu went back to get a lift ticket at the hotel, Momo-chan and Pinga did a bit of snowball fight and snowman making. Momo-chan knew how to do it well.

Ready for tomorrow

They have selected ski gears for Momo-chan at the hotel. He has new goggles and ready to ski tomorrow.

Train to Zell am See

Momo-chan didn't sleep on the flight to Salzburg. So he was a bit tired and wanted to take a nap. Here's Momo-chan trying to fall asleep on Pingu legs. He didn't succeed falling asleep this way but he did feel asleep soon after.

Arrived in Mittersill

They arrived at Mittersill station just before 4 pm. Then they selected so gear for Momo-chan. After that Momo-chan wanted to play with the other kids while Pinga took a bath and Pingu took a walk.

After several hours on the train Momo-chan was a bit bored.

Hello Austria!

After a short flight they arrived in Salzburg. Then they got on this train towards Zell am See and then change again.

Good bye old kitchen!

As they are saying goodbye to Lund since they are on their way to ski vacation they are also saying bye to the old kitchen. During the week they will be gone there will be a team building their new kitchen.

Time to eat

Then it's time to eat gyoza. Momo-chan liked it a lot but he was eating it in an interesting way. First eating contents, then the skin.

Momo-chan helped out with making gyoza for dinner. Pinga thinks it's nice to have a little kitchen helper.

Year of Monkey

As it's year of monkey, Momo-chan abs Pinga made this curious George in iron beads.

Playdate

Today Momo-chan went to an inside playground with a friend. They played non stop for three hours and had lots of fun.

Here are burdock dishes Pinga worked on. They turned out to be tasty.

Little kitchen helper

Momo-chan likes to help out Pinga. Today he helped her making meatballs and also removing hard part from suffer peas. Good job Momo-chan!

Pinga cooked burdocks this afternoon. Momo-chan was curious as he hasn't seen this vegetable before. Pinga was protecting her hand as it gets very sticky from burdocks. Here's Momo-chan holding Burdock sword.

Getting dark early

It still gets dark quite early around four o'clock so they drove home.

Climbing and so on

Momo-chan and his friend had fun running around and climbing trees.

Gangnam style!

If you have watched the Gangnam style music video you will surely now the horse riding dance moves. Here is Momo-chan and his friend dancing it out to the song.

Alnarp castle park

They took it easy today but finally went outside for a refreshing walk around the Alnarp castle. The park is quite big and nice.

Happy New year!

Momo-chan fell asleep at 23.30 but his friend woke up for the New Year midnight fireworks that they watched from the garden of their friends house. They stayed up afterwards and continued to chat and play games. It was a very nice evening.
