Ice cream time

Summer is back in Lund with 26C degrees. So they had ice cream in the terrace. Momo-chan was very happy with his melon and chocolate flavored ones.

Orange honey

They had French toast for breakfast. Momo-chan received this orange honey from Pinga's friend yesterday. He tried it this morning and he liked it a lot. Pinga's friend liked French toast too.

Afternoon nap

While Momo-chan was chasing Pokemons, the twins slept well like this in the stroller.

Momo-chan's favourite activity

Guess what is Momo-chan's favourite activity these days is? It is to go out and do Pokemon Go game. Here they are trying to catch another Pokemon.

QP-chan meets cats

Pinga went to see her friends as they are leaving for vacation and their cats will be taken care of by Pinga and Pingu. Coco-chan was sleeping in the stroller so just QP-chan went inside the house. As you can see both cats were very curious about QP-chan. They got scared when she started to cry though.

Please bite on this!

As they bite on their hands, Pinga have them this bee to bite on. QP-chan didn't really bite on it but Coco-chan actually was biting on it a bit. But he dropped the bee and went back to his hands a bit later. Hmm difficult to get them not to chew on their hands...

New pajamas

Here are twins in new pajamas. Pinga thinks it's not easy with kids clothes sizing add it all depends on makers. These are pajamas for 9 months babies but they fit quite ok for them. Little bit big now so they can use it for a while.

Brothers

They had guests for afternoon tea. Coco-chan was very happy and smiling back a lot so Pinga wanted to take photo of him. Momo-chan wanted to join the photo so it turned out to be like this.

Funny Momo-chan

Momo-chan likes to entertain the twins. Here he is trying to make fart noise. QP-chan and Coco-chan were looking at him curiously.

Sleeping situation these days

Momo-chan sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night and migrates to Pingu and Pinga's bed. But QP-chan sleeps in between Pingu and Pinga. Momo-chan wants to sleep on Pinga side but there is no space. So he ends up sleeping in the middle below QP-chan. But this morning, QP-chan kicked him and Momo-chan complained and the situation was not good. But they fell asleep again like this.

Siblings

This was just before Momo-chan left for daycare. The twins were up as well so Momo-chan just placed himself in between them.

Spot the rabbit!

Pingu took a walk the other day to the store with the stroller. On the way back he saw this rabbit and could get pretty close before it ran off.

Angelic babies

Coco-chan and QP-chan took a bath yesterday. Don't they look very cute in their towels? Makes me think of Mother Theresa.

White wild strawberry

These days Momo-chan play a lot with one of his neighbours. The other evening they ate some of these white wild strawberries that they found in the garden.

Tasty sweet sparkling wine

Pinga brought home this sweet sparkling wine last week. Pinga also prepared a very tasty meal to go with it. I believe the meatballs were actually prepared by Pinga's mom during her visit.

Let's plant!

Pinga found this plant kit for Momo-chan. They are basil, parsley and peppermint. Momo-chan got most excited for peppermint. Here's Momo-chan holding compacted soil.

Sleeping and gliding down

QP-chan kept sleeping while she was moved from the stroller to the car chair, then to the mattress. Here you can see how she moved down while sleeping.

At Ikea

They went to Ikea as they needed a new frying pan and other minor things. While QP-chan slept through the entire visit, Coco-chan woke up while they were having lunch.

Cherry jam

Pingu went to pick cherries and Pinga made jam. It's time consuming to pick the seeds out but she enjoys it. To her surprise, they sell suger with pectin in Sweden for making jam.

Training time

They are getting stronger with their necks. But Coco-chan is still having tough time when it comes to looking to his left.

Matching clothes again

Their outfit was like this but it didn't last for a long time as one of them pooed and it leaked.

Woke up happy

QP-chan usually wakes up happily without crying. This morning was no exception. Coco-chan on the other hand usually makes unhappy noise when he wakes up so no time for Pinga to paparazzi him.

お揃い Matching clothes

Pinga put on matching outfit for twins. They are gifts from pinga's best friend in Tokyo. QP-chan was not happy as she got hungry though.

Cake time

Pingu's sister came with cakes in the afternoon. Momo-chan and his friend were happy with all the good stuff and ate well. Momo-chan played with him from the morning to after dinner. He had lunch and cake at Momo-chan's place and Momo-chan had dinner at his place.

Brooklyn baby wear

They had guests from Brooklyn and they brought these nice Brooklyn baby clothes. She was Pinga's class mate from UCLA. It was very nice that they could be reunited and catch up after almost 13 years.

Stomach and neck training

Coco-chan and QP-chan are working hard every day to strengthen their stomach and neck muscles.  QP-chan is doing really well while Coco-chan needs more practice.

The twins were on their stomach training their neck muscle. Momo-chan came and joined them like this.

First time turning 初寝返り

ここちゃんが初めて寝返りをした時の写真です。この少し後にキューピーちゃんもうつ伏せから仰向けになりました。
Coco-chan turned from his back to stomach for the first time this afternoon. He is 4.5 months old. In the evening, QP-chan turned from her stomach to back as well. Good job twins!

Following butterfly 蝶々を追って

Momo-chan became fine so he went to daycare today. On the way back home, he found a butterfly and followed it around like this.

Momo-chan and Coco-chan

Momo-chan was at home today as well to rest and get better from his hip injury. Here he is holding Coco-chan. Do they look alike?

Coco-chan = Momo-chan brother

Nickname for Momo-chan's brother is Coco-chan. Fruit related name just like Momo-chan. Momo-chan's "momo" is peach in Japanese. Coco-chan's "coco" is from coconut.

QP-chan = Momo-chan sister

Pinga and Pingu decided nickname for Momo-chan's siblings. As she looks like kewpie doll, she will be called QP-chan.

Mentaiko udon

Today's lunch was udon noodle with spicy cod roe. As you can see, now Momo-chan can finally eat with normal chopsticks. It had been not easy to move from little kids training chopsticks so Pingu and Pinga are happy about it.

Good morning little sister

As Momo-chan couldn't really walk because of the pain, he was at home today. Momo-chan's sister slept very well and wine up at 11. Momo-chan wanted to hold her to say good morning. Momo-chan's brother was up just before 9.

Like a boss

Finally done

Yesterday Momo-chan and Pingu went to the hospital due to Momo-chan pain in the hip.  After a total of 6 hours they were finally done.  It takes time because there are not so many working on a summer Sunday.  After both x-ray and ultrasound they could conclude that he has coxitis simplex,  fluid buildup around the hip joint. Momo-chan needs to rest a bit but should recover after some days. 

Hospital visit

Momo-chan woke up saying his leg hurts and that he can't stand on it.  After talking to a nurse on the phone they were recommended to visit the hospital.  It is almost empty here but since it is Sunday there are not many doctors either.  So right now Pingu and Momo-chan are waiting patiently. 

Today's neck training

Momo-chan knows they need to work on their neck muscle and he asked Pinga if they did it. This is their second round of neck muscle training.

Big birthday party

Their neighbor turned 40 and his wife organized a surprise birthday party for him. It was a very nice party with many guests, both adults and kids. Here is the strawberry birthday cake.

フレンチトースト French toast

Pinga's mom made French toast for Momo-chan and he likes it a lot.he had it with Nutella and Pinga had it with cherry jam she made last night.

Phone stolen

Pinga couldn't take photos to blog until the evening as her phone was stolen.
She was on her way to meet Pingu for lunch. She sent last message to Pingu 100m away from the restaurant. Then she arrived at the restaurant and realized her phone was not there. She went back the way she came but it was not there. Tried to locate the phone by using "Find my phone" function but it didn't work. They've concluded it has been stolen. It was in the center of Lund. I guess whoever took it saw Pinga using the phone and where she put it. They reported it to police. Not a fun day...

Cherry jam

Pinga is making cherry jam using the cherries picked in the neighborhood. It smells very nice.

Presents!

Pinga's mom left presents fire Momo-chan when she left. As he has been accessed this boy, he could receive them today. Momo-chan became very happy with Shinkansen and Pokemon goods. Very nice!

Momo-chan was very excited to eat this Pikachu noodle. Can you see the fish cake he is holding is shaped as Pikachu?

お昼寝後 After afternoon nap

Here's twins after the nap. Momo-chan's sister slept all morning up until 1pm so she just slept 1.5 hours from 15:30. Momo-chan's brother didn't sleep much in the morning so he slept from 15 to 18. He woke up happily like this.

Momo-chan was active as usual from the moment he woke up. Here he is with twins on their way to daycare.

Picking cherries again

They went to pick cherries again after the daycare. Momo-chan and Pinga found a couple of trees that have tasty cherries.

Agewonton

Inspired by her mom, Pinga made agewonton for dinner. She put pork and cheese inside. Pingu and Momo-chan liked them.

Physiotherapist appointment

The twins went to see physiotherapist this morning to check the head form. Momo-chan's brother still has problem as he tends to look mostly to the right. The physiotherapist suggested stretching neck muscle like this twice a day. She also mentioned Pinga and Pingu need to really work on this now as it will be more difficult when they get older. Momo-chan's sister is a bit flat on the left and a little bit flat on the back but nothing major.
