It was difficult to wake QP-chan up in the morning. As a result, they were a bit late for preschool but they were happy and waved god bye to Pings.

Christmas tree
After Halloween is Christmas. Aquarium gift shop already has Christmas trees decorated with sea animals.
Octopus Coco-chan and beluga QP-chan
They went to their favorite kids corner. Coco-chan was walking around with the octopus and QP-chan put on beluga outfit on her.
To the aquarium
As it was rainy, they went to the aquarium. Pings wanted Momo-chan to join but he didn't want to. QP-chan wanted to use the stroller but Pings convinced her to walk. They walked well going there and back.

Arrived in Vancouver
Around 7 am, they reached Vancouver airport. To Pinga's surprise, QP-chan woke up with no problem. Momo-chan was very sleepy and Coco-chan was not so happy. Momo-chan went directly to school from the airport.

Mini suitcase
Momo-chan liked to carry this mini roller suitcase. He asked if QP-chan wants to be on it and of course, she did.
At the airport
As the flight was at 11:40 pm, by the time they got to the airport Coco-chan was sound asleep. He didn't wake up until one hour before landing to Vancouver. Coco-chan slept from 9:30 to 4:30. QP-Chan and Momo-chan fell asleep at midnight when the flight took off.
Beach fun
They had fun playing with sand and water. QP-chan enjoyed being in the water and Coco-chan liked more building stuff with sand. Mono-chan enjoyed both activities.
Strong current
Shortly after they got to the beach, life guards were removing the signs as it was time to go home. Pinga thought if they got here a bit later, there were no signs and could be tough to know the condition.
Ho’okipa beach again
They arrived around 4pm to the turtle beach and found out that the condition was not good again with strong current signs. There were turtles and one was very close to the people.
Artist QP-chan
After colouring this page, QP-chan came to Pinga and asked to use her phone to take photo of her work. This is what she took. Nice and colourful hearts. It's sometimes difficult to get the telephone back from QP-chan though.
Last day
It was not much activities on the last day. Twins were colouring and watching Netflix. Mono-chan was playing on iPad. Too much indoor seems to be not so good for kids, Pinga reconfirmed it through observing.

Body boarding
Momo-chan tried body boarding for the first time. He liked it and even switched to as bigger board towards the end.
Kamaore Park III
After late lunch, they got to this beach and it was around 4pm. It was supposed to be a calm beach but it had special condition and dangerous. Lifeguards were announcing how dangerous it is and then left around 4:30. They had fun playing with sands and water.
Wild chickens
Kids were surprised to see chickens running around at parking areas and other places. TRhis rooster was very big and was with his family.
Beach brothers
After a late lunch they went to Kamaole Beach park for some beach fun. Momo-chan and Coco-chan played nicely together building this turtle house and saving it from the waves. The conditions were unusual and the waves were extremely large and strong so it was not snorkeling or swim friendly.
Macaroon time
Coco-chan was up early as usual. While waiting for his siblings to wake up, he had macaroons. Not really a breakfast but it's vacation... He picked orange chocolate one.
Komoda bakery
Close to the house is this bakery with tasty donuts and malasadas. Today they bought breakfast there for the third time.

Relaxing
Yesterday, Pingu spent all day at the house. Pinga did some shopping and went out with twins to a mall with a playground.

Ice cream time
After the play area, Pinga's plan was to take them to Tasaka guri guri. They got to Maui Mall around 4 pm but it was already closed. So they went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. Coco-chan decided right away that he wanted chocolate one. QP-chan wanted to have cotton candy but she tasted it and didn't like it. So it became Strawberry and Mississippi mud. They are good at sharing.
Play area at the mall
Twins and Pinga drove to Maui's largest mall for some play area time. Mono-chan didn't want to follow and stayed home. The play area was not big at all but twins enjoyed it.
Iao Valley State park
Yesterday they went to visit the small but nicely located Iao Valley State park in rainforest area. Momo-chan thought the "needle" more looked like a thumb.
Hawaii ouchi
This is the Airbnb that they are staying at on Maui. It is spacious and rural, quite different from there one in Honolulu. They do miss nearby shops and extra kitchen stuff though. Maui is also more expensive than the already expensive Honolulu.
Post meltdown milk shake
Momo-chan has been having difficult times lately. Yesterday was extra hard with not wanting to sit at our table, not wanting to eat lunch etcetera. A kind old man at the restaurant became concerned and gave Momo-chan a milkshake.

Car team
They are spending quite a bit in the car and are generally doing well. QP-chan sometimes complaints and says she wants to get off though. Snacks helps 😅.
Nakalele blowhole
After an hour of driving on winding and narrow roads they got to Nakalele blowhole on the north west part of Maui. It was high tide so they got to see the cool sprays.

Finally arrived
They finally got to Twin Falls. 3km hike was a bit tiring for 3 years old. Pingu windered if there's another waterfall. Pinga explained this was it. Amount of water changes depending on the water anount.
To the Twin Falls
Hiking to the Twin Falls took longer than Pinga thought. Momo-chan and Pinga were bitten by bugs but others were fine.
Pineapple breakfast
They started a day with pineapple breakfast. There was banana bread too but no one was interested other than Pinga.
Water dam
Momo-chan enjoyed the beach and spent time where small pools of water formed. He was excited to find tiny fish there.
Gecko lizards!
After lunch, Momo-chan found these gecko lizards where they had parked their car and got very excited.

Turtles
They went to Hookipa beach hoping to see turtles. It was like 4:30 pm. There were many big sea turtles. They got so excited.
Piñata
Mono-chan told Pinga that he wants to have a piñata at his birthday party. He said he wants llama or buffalo. Hmmm they are bulky, those piñatas.
Up early Coco-chan
As usual, Coco-chan woke up early at 7 am. He was happy with the veranda and sitting on a chair outside for a while.
Arrived at Maui home
After midnight, they leached a house where they will stay for this trip. Here's Momo-chan happy to find those chocolates.

To YVR airport
As usual, twins and Pinga went by bus and train. Mini-chan and Pingu drove to the airport. It's been a while since twins were on the stroller. They decided to bring it as the returning flight is close to midnight.
No Coco-chan
It was unusual that QP-chan was not with Coco-chan. As he had fever, he stayed home and only QP-chan cane to preschool. Let's hope Coco-chan feels better soon!
Made an octopus
Coco-chan has high fever since Sunday and he is at home this morning too. He made an octopus with his nanny. Here you can see him putting on eyes.

Halloween cupcakes
Two days late but they made Halloween themed cupcakes. Halfway through decorating, they started to eat sprinkles though.
Bumblebee, wolf and tacos
This dog had a nice costume and the owner was dressed as a witch. Halloween fun!
Candies at the entrance
It was close to 9pm and not so many kids were out any longer. Twins came by just when people by the candies left. They said feel free to take some candies.
Trick or treat!
After the Halloween at Pingu's work, they had quick dinner and went out in the neighborhood for trick or treating. Some houses have amazing decorations and QP-chan got scared of them.
Getting ready for Hawaii
Twins are excited about travelling to Hawaii. They found this swimming goggles and took turn to try them on. Coco-chan became sick with high fever though. Let's hope for quick recovery for him.
