Kobe Oji Zoo

Momo-chan was at the zoo today. It was very sunny and warm and they were there from 11 to 13.

First time rollerblading

Momo-chan tried rollerblading for the first time. Luckily there were Momo-chan size rollerblades. He enjoyed it.

Playing together

Momo-chan usually plays together with about the same age kids but today he played with this two year old. They played well although Momo-chan had a bit of difficulty understanding his Japanese as he spoke some baby words.

Udon dinner

Momo-chan got happy when they came back home from school and prep school. They went to have udon for dinner.

うみえ Umie in Harbor Land

They went to a mall Umie in Harbor Land today. As it was not weekend, it was not crowded but on weekends, there are so many cars and people.

バットマン Batman Momo-chan

Momo-chan found this at the entrance of Toys'r'us. He likes bats and Batman.

At a flower shop

Momo-chan is in Kobe having fun. Pinga's friend has three kids (10, 8 and 6 year old) and they are very nice and friendly.

With Shinkansen conductor

Momo-chan got to take a photo with Shinkansen driver/conductor while waiting for his Shinkansen arrival. He and his colleague were so nice and Momo-chan got a conductors hat on.

新幹線 Shinkansen trip

Momo-chan got so excited to see different kinds of Shinkansen. Pinga and Momo-chan are traveling to Kobe to visit their friends.

Funeral services

Pinga's mom's younger brother died last Thursday. There was a funeral services yesterday with relatives and his colleagues. It was Momo-chan's second funeral after Pingu's mom. Pinga explained how it is done in Japan which is to cremate compared to burial in Sweden. Then Momo-chan asked how it is done in China. Momo-chan behaved well.

Hello Godzilla

Near Ochanomizu station, there was an art event and there was this Godzilla. Momo-chan wanted to touch him.

Ski goggles

Here's Momo-chan trying kids helmet and goggles. It was a good fit for Momo-chan and Pinga got this goggles for him.

Ski shop

Ochanomizu is well known for three things. Music instruments shop, book shops (new and second hand) and then sports shops. Pinga's friend is a professional ski teacher. They went to check out skis.

Momo-chan and Pinga were in Ochanomizu to meet their friend this afternoon. Here's Momo-chan watching trains from Ochanomizu bridge.

鴻巣花火大会 Fireworks

They went to see two hours of fireworks in Kounosu this evening. It was really beautiful. Momo-chan almost lost his interest after an hour but he made friends with a young couple nearby and had fun.

They could try making their own caterpillar and butterfly at the experience corner. Blue butterfly is done by Momo-chan. Pingu did caterpillar and Pinga did purple toned butterfly. They enjoyed it much.

はらぺこあおむし展 The very hungry caterpillar exhibition

They were at an exhibition of the Very hungry caterpillar this afternoon. It was not so big but well organized and interesting for kids and parents.

池袋 In Ikebukuro

They were in Ikebukuro for window shopping/shopping. As always, very many people. Pingu and Momo-chan went to Toys'r'us but Momo-chan didn't get another Ultraman character figure this time.
