Indian dinner

Pingu and Pinga went to Malmö after work today. They looked in some shops and then had dinner at an Indian restaurant. Much more tasty than the London one.

Sleepy...

Pingu and Pinga are up and preparing to go to work but as you can see, I'm sleepy... So Pingu's bed became mine.

Tired Thatcher

Thatcher became tired from walking and playing with Thelma. So she was resting next to Pinga.

Pingu and Pinga met this little one, Thelma, this evening. She is Thatcher's new room mate. She is 8 weeks old now and just came from Stockholm this weekend. They are ok as long as they don't get excited seeing me and lick me.

Sniff sniff クンクン

Going out for a walk became my new routine. It was with Pinga today. When I'm outside, I am curious of many things and like to take a sniff at them.

散歩に行くのは新しい日課になりました。今日はピンがと一緒に行きました。外に出ると僕はいろいろなものをクンクンしています。

Waffles ワッフル

Pingu made waffles today. Their friend made a homemade strawberry jam and the waffle tasted very good with it.

今日はピングがワッフルを作りました。友達が作ったいちごジャムとウィップドクリームと一緒に食べるととても美味しかったです。

Kitesurfing

While Pinga and Pingu was having dinner, this person was kitesurfing. Wikipedia is helpful. "Kitesurfing": a surface water sport that uses wind power to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard. Pinga and Pingu were not sure what this sport is called and saying that it's parasurfing. Looked like a fun sport to do!

Dinner in Fortuna

Pingu and Pinga went to have dinner at Fortuna strandkrog. Pinga has ordered fish soup this time and she liked it a lot. Pingu was happy with his chicken dish too. This restaurant reminds them of Pinga sister and her husband.

ピングとピンガはフォルチュナのレストランに夕飯を食べに行きました。ピンガは初めて魚のスープを注文しましたが、美味しかったとのこと。ピングもチキンのお料理が気に入っていました。ピング達はピンガのお姉さん夫妻を思い出していました。

Doughnuts

Pinga got doughnut mold from her sister so she tried making doughnuts for the first time today. The difficult part was flying them without getting them burnt. Pingu liked them.

今日はピンガがドーナツを作りました。ピンガのお姉さんが持って来てくれたドーナツの型を使ったんです。焦がさずに揚げるのが難しかったようです。

Out in the rain

Since I meowed a lot, Pinga took me out for a walk before dinner. I was very happy to be outside and didn't care much that it was raining a bit.

ミャーミャーした甲斐あって、ピンガが夕飯の前に散歩に連れ出してくれました。外に出られたのが嬉しく、小雨が降っていたのはあまり気になりませんでした。

The Muffin Man in London

It's raining outside and I'm just sleeping on the sofa. So Pinga decided to be retro active and blog an image from London.

This is Pingu and Pinga having English muffin and scones at the Maffin Man. It's located close to the High Street Kensington tube station. They went there on Sunday morning. Pinga wanted to eat good scones and found this place. Pinga has eaten there once before with her then colleagues in 2006. It was cozy, quiet and the food was tasty! Pinga had scones with devon cream and strawberry jam and Pingu had English muffin with ham and egg.

Hyouketsu 氷結

"Hyouketsu" in Japanese means to freeze or ice-up. It's a name of a Japanese cocktail drink that Pingu likes a lot. Well, Pinga likes it too but Pingu really likes it. Pinga's sister and her husband have carried some cans to Sweden so they opened one of them today. There are many flavours such as lemon, grapefruit, plum, green apple and so on. It was grapefruit today and they say it has a refreshing taste. I want to taste too!

「氷結」はピングの大好きな日本のカクテル飲料です。ピンガも好きですが、ピングほどではないようです。ピンガの姉夫妻が東京から持って来た氷結のうちの一つを開けて飲んでいました。ピング達はすっきりした味と言っていたけど、どんな味がするのかな〜？

Don't I look good?

I jumped onto Pinga's desk so that I could get her attention and be petted. Pingu thinks I look good in this photo. What do you think?

Teddy bear soup

Pinga was happy eating this teddy bear pasta soup. Pingu didn't react much to it though.

Raspberry panacotta

Pingu and Pinga had friends over this evening. They brought this very tasty raspberry panacotta cake. Raspberries used are from their garden so it's ecological. Pingu had three pieces. I wish I could taste it too.

Taking a nap

Pinga was reading on the sofa so I went just next to her. I started to sleep and that made Pinga sleepy too.

Home sweet home

It's very nice to be back at home and sleep together with Pingu. Zzz...

Super pet me attack

I just came back from a cat hotel but Pingu and Pinga didn't give me enough attention. So I decided to come in between Pinga and computer. As she couldn't reach the keyboard, I got a lot of petting. I stayed there until I was satisfied:)

Resting in Regent's park

After a tasty and heavy lunch they decided to take a rest in a park. Many dogs here and they saw a Deja-vu look alike schnauzer too.

Michelin two star lunch

Pingu and Pinga went to their fourth and last London lunch. So far the places they had booked were only so so. Therefore they were unsure about today's one. They were nicely surprised with an exquisite meal.

Japanese street performer

Pinga and Pingu were surprised to see this guy playing guitar and singing just with fundoshi (old style Japanese guy underwear). Pingu wondered if he's Japanese or not but according to Pinga, he's Japanese as he's singing in Japanese.

Covent Garden

Pingu and Pinga are in Covent Garden now. There are markets of different kinds to look at.

The National Gallery

Pinga wanted to see the temporary exhibition about impressionism. There were many people at Trafalgar Square and inside the museum. Pingu liked the exhibition too.

Squirrel in Kensington Park

Pinga got excited to see many squirrels in Kensington Park. This one came very close to her.

Top gun

Pinga and Pingu thought about Pinga dad when they saw this clothes shop as it's his favourite movie.

Picadilly circus

Pinga took this photo on the way back to the hotel from China town. They had dinner there.

Hairdresser on fire

Pinga is happy. She is having her hair cut by a Japanese hairdresser close to Tottenham court road underground station. Pinga is always worried about getting her hair cut by non japanese. The results in Sweden have not been very good. Always a good reason to visit London.

Pingu and Pinga are thinking of Pinga dad while drinking beer in a London pub.

Dinner in London

Pingu and Pinga started their London stay with Indian dinner. This place, Spices got very good reviews and their expectation was high but they thought Indian restaurant in Malmö is a bit better.

Left luggage...

Pinga was so happy to come to London so she forgot to pick up her checked luggage. Now Pingu that was on another flight and terminal has joined Pinga while she is talking to the airport staff about the bag. The door says staff search where Pinga is waiting for assistance.

Trapped again

Pingu and Pinga left for a London weekend so they put me in a cat hotel again. I really dislike being in this cat transport!

Outside again

I went for a walk twice today. When Pinga Took me out, I saw a big dog came out from one of the apartment buildings. Scary...so I ran fast and then Pinga carried me.

Rönnspirea

Mjukglass=Soft ice cream=ソフトクリーム

Pinga var förvånad att se vilken gigantisk mjukglass Pingu hade köpte. Den smakade jättegott.

Pinga was surprised to see the gigantic soft ice cream Pingu had bought. It tasted very good.

ピンガはピングの買って来た巨大なソフトクリームを見て驚きました。この大きなソフトクリームはとてもおいしかったそうです。

Nice big desk!

I thought I haven't gotten enough attention from Pingu and Pinga. So I threw myself on Pingu's desk so that both of them could pet me while they were typing on the computers. Pingu's desk is wider han Pinga's so it's good for me.
Also, I went out for a walk with them for my second time at the new place. It was quiet and I didn't encounter any cats or dogs so that was good. Well, I heard a dog over the fence but I didn't get scared. I sniffed many flowers and trees and I heard Pingu said "I didn't know that he's a flower lover."

Back home again

Pingu and Pinga left me alone all night while they were at the wedding. Now they are back home again and I get to be petted finally!

At a wedding

Pingu and Pinga are at their friends wedding. It's a perfect wedding weather!

Before the wedding

Pingu is done dressing up and is now waiting for Pinga like always. They are in a Helsingborg hotel and will soon go to Sofiero where the wedding ceremony and party will be.

Exploring the neighbourhood

Pingu and Pinga took me out for a walk this evening. It was very nice to be outside again.

Bbq with friends

Pingu and Pinga are at a friends' garden place to have dinner. It is not fair since I am not allowed out any longer.
