Chicken mushroom gratin

Pinga made this gratin for dinner. It has three kinds of mushrooms in it and Pingu liked it a lot.

Big rainbow

As it rained on and off, there was a big rainbow after the rain.

Grilling in the rain

There were 14 people so they were using two grills and grilling meat, zucchini, and so on. It was ok sunny but then it suddenly rained. But they enjoyed grilling together anyways.

Rodel

Pingu and Pinga went together with their friends to do rodel. Rodel is a sledge in a rail. It was wobbly because of the rain but both Pinga and Pingu thought it's fun!

To the hill top

Pinga took this photo while she was on a rodel and pulled up the hill. You can see Pingu in front too. She was a bit scared how it was to come down as it was her first time.

Car bingo

This is not just a photo of a parking lot. These cars are participating car bingo. Pinga has never heard of car bingo and thought it's interesting. When they become bingo they honk to let other people know.

Pink sky

Pingu and Pinga were on their way to their friends place when they saw the pink sky.

Grilling in the garden

Pingu and Pinga are at their friends' place. Their friend prepared a nice grill dinner with big baked potatoes! It was very tasty.

Smultron=Wild strawberries=野いちご

While out with me, Pinga found those wild strawberries in the neighbourhood. It's much smaller than ordinary strawberries. According to Pinga and Pingu, it tasted good.

On the sand dunes again

Pingu and Pinga went to the quiet sand dune beach again. This is Pingu crossing shallow water to get to the sand dunes. Pingu was carrying parasol on his back so he could protect Pinga from strong sun light.

Out in the sun

It was very nice weather so Pingu and Pinga decided to read outside so I went along together. It was nice to be outside for a long time.

Kebab in the park

Pingu and Piga were in Malmö for food shopping. They decided to buy kebabs and eat it in the park. Unfortunately, Pinga spilled kebab sauce on her pants just like she spilled salsa from her hamburger last weekend.

Soft ice cream in downtown

Since it was nice summer weather, Pingu and Pinga went to have soft ice cream in downtown. They usually get one and share but today they bought two of them. Pingu got chocolate topping as well!

Sunny day

When I went for a walk with Pinga before dinner, the weather was very nice and we could see a long shadow of us, well...my shadow was not so long but anyways.

Pinga bought cakes

Pinga thinks the chocolate cake to the right tastes best of all cakes in Lund. The cake shop where she bought them reminds her of her friend who is in Italy now.

Walking on water

This activity was quite popular. Kids were sealed inside these air filled balls which was then put into water. They float and spin while you try to walk. Looked funny.

Huge wicker baskets

Art exhibition is part of the Malmö festival too. These are what look like unfinished huge plastic baskets.

Victor Jara

A Pingu tradition at the festival is to eat these chilli burgers with tasty salsa sauce. Pinga spilled most of her salsa on her lap unfortunately.

At Malmö festival

Pingu, Pinga and their friend are at the Malmö festival now. There are many people.

Rhubarb and me

There are many plants around our apartment and I was curious about this one today. It's rhubarb. You can make pie by using this and Pingu likes rhubarb pie.

In Fortuna

This photo is from yesterday evening. Pingu, Pingu's sister and Pinga took a walk after the dinner. It was a nice and calm evening. They were looking at a ferry boat and Ven island.

Birthday dinner

Pingu's sister had her birthday last month so Pingu and Pinga took her to dinner in Fortuna. Pingu's sister like the restaurant too and she became very happy with a great view and tasty food.

A private island

Pingu, Pinga and Pingu's sister are by the sea side. There is a place where sand dunes are surrounded by water like small island just off the coast. It is nice when you get an island all to yourself. Unfortunately many birds have pooed there and it was hard to find a good spot to lay down.

Berbeque again

Pinga and Pingu were having nice barbecue dinner again today. They were invited to a friend of Pingu's sister's. Their house has a very nice and big flowery garden.

Bjärred beach

Pingu and Pinga are at the beach with Pingu's sister. While she was bathing, Pingu and Pinga was reading. When they were about to leave the beach, many people were gathering on the board walk. It was wedding party guests and the wedding couple was on shore doing last minute touch ups.

BBQ dinner at Pingu's brother

Pingu, Pingu's sister and Pinga drove up the coast to see Pingu's brother and their family. They have a very nice summer house in a small fisherman's town. They had delicious barbecue dinner there.

Lunch outside

As it was very nice weather, Pingu, Pinga and Pingu's sister was having lunch in town sitting outside. They ran into their friends at the restaurant so it became 5 people in total.

Friend's birthday

It's Pingu and Pinga's friend's birthday today. So Pinga, Pingu and Pingu's sister went to congratulate him with a cake but they were treated with much more stuff to eat there! They're sitting outside now.

Daruma with one eye 片目の達磨

Pinga and Pingu's friend got this daruma doll for them. You make a wish and fill in the left eye. When the wish comes true, you set the right eye and then return it to the temple where you bought it. Hope Pingu and Pinga's wish comes true!

Japanese summer noodle 冷やし中華

As the weather was much better than yesterday, Pingu and Pinga had dinner on the balcony today. They were having a cold Japanese noodle, hiyashi chuuka. It looked healthy and tasty. I was looking out and guarding them while they ate.

昨日は一日雨でしたが今日は天気がよかったので、ピングとピンガはベランダで夕飯を食べました。冷やし中華という日本の料理でした。二人がご飯を食べている間、僕は周りを見回して二人の安全を確認していました。

Stop following me around!

I was out walking with Pingu tonight and then these two cats showed up. They were quite interested in me but it was scary. I thought I got rid of them by making strange noises but they kept following me so I went home and didn't get a very long walk.

The Furminator

This brush is called "The Furminator" and can collect hairs that other brushes can't. So Pingu made a big hair ball from my hair. I wonder if I could become bald...but it felt very nice when he brushed me.

Meeting Bastet upclose

Pingu and Pinga's friend has three cats at home. She owns two and the third cat is one she is babysitting for a friend. This black cat is Bastet. She was curious and came close and sniffed me. Look! She almost kissed me and I didn't like it. I wanted her to leave me alone.

In the garden

We were at Pinga and Pingu's friend's place this afternoon. It is nice to be outside but it would be even better if I can run around freely. It is a new experiment for them since they bought this thing which looks like a big screw to put in the ground and something to tie my leash to.

At the pet shop

I was at the pet shop with Pingu, Pinga and their friend this afternoon. They bought these for me so that I can be out with them. regarding leash, they bought a normal one and not this rock star version. Thank goodness!

Waffles again

Pingu made waffles again. They were eating them on the balcony.
