On Thursday evening Pingu and Momo-chan went on a bat safari at Hovdala manor (about an hour by car to the north). They started at 7 PM by walking around and listening to their guide talking about bats. Hovdala area is quite special since it houses 16 of the 19 types of bats that can be seen in Sweden. After sunset they walked to the nearby lake with their bat sensors that listens in to their ultrasound calls. Momo-chan had a lot of fun running around and watching the bats. The Swedish bats are all kind of small and eat insects. Momo-chan then suggested we bring one home so it can eat mosquitos near our house.
