Sunglasses Momo-chan

Momo-chan was entertaining the twins at a store. First he put sunglasses on the twins. Them the twins wouldn't let them go. Pinga took them away and they became unhappy. So Momo-chan decided to put them on and showed the look to them. 

Momo-chan taxi

Momo-chan put QP-chan in this box and pushed her around the house. QP-chan seemed to like it at the beginning. 

Matching pyjamas

Here's twins in their matching pyjamas. They usually get tired around 19:30 but then they get fed and regain energy. Then Coco-chan usually falls asleep around 21 and QP-chan around 22:30. Pinga is feeling she has teenager daughter already... 

Cherry blossoms

Despite lots of rain, cherry blossoms started to bloom. So let's hope it won't rain so much and flowers would stay longer. 

Pinga heard from her physiotherapist that it's been record-breaking rainy in Vancouver this March. Also yesterday, it rained so much it broke 61-year-old record. Pinga was a bit relieved to hear that as she felt it's been just too much rain. 

House showing

They went to see this condo for the second time as they are about to decide on it. They like it as it is close to school, daycare and Pingu's work. Also it has good size and lots of storage space. Here's Momo-chan and Coco-chan checking on one of the closets. 

Second tooth out!

Momo-chan has had a loose tooth for some days now. Tonight it finally came out with Pingu's help. Let's see if the tooth fairy has something for him tomorrow...

On Robson Street

It has been rainy. It rained everyday except for one day since they arrived. Today is not exception and it's raining heavily. Momo-chan accompanied Pinga to a supermarket. On the way back Momo-chan found this statue in front of a Chinese restaurant and posed together with it. 

Crawling QP-chan

QP-chan started to crawl a bit. She was moving backward before but she can now actually move forward. Y

Coco-chan was curious about Pinga's mom's ring. He started to bite on it. QP-chan was asleep as she missed sleeping in the morning.

Coco-chan sometimes goes to QP-chan and start pushing, touching or hitting her. Here you can see QP-chan getting unhappy as Coco-chan hits her.

Visiting Pingu at work

It was Pingu's first day at work. Momo-chan and Pinga went to his office to sign some paper. Pingu's office looks nice and located in the center of Downtown. 

After dinner Coco-chan

Coco-chan face looked like this after dinner. He had pieces of asparagus, cucumber and yogurt on his face. 

Happy birthday Momo-chan

Momo-chan turned seven today. Time flies... He was happy with many birthday wishes from Sweden, Japan and Hawaii. They celebrated the day with fruit cheesecake. 

A room with a view

Tonight Coco-chan was enjoying the view from the master bedroom. It overlooks central downtown and it is quite the view. 

A new twin?

QP-chan found someone to kiss the other day. The twin in the mirror was ok with that. 

Sleepy Coco-chan

Coco-chan was sleeping in this position for a while. Also he slept longer than QP-chan. Poor QP-chan didn't sleep well as she is having cold and woke up every two hours. 

Nurse Momo-chan

Momo-chan helped Pinga removing bandage. Then at last Pingu removed the cast. Pinga found her hand is very stiff after five months of having cast. 

Time to take the cast off

It's been five weeks so finally time to take off Pinga's cast on her hand. 

Pinga's mom arrived

This afternoon Pinga's mom came from Tokyo. Momo-chan and all the family members were happy to see her. 

Twins exploration

The twins are good at trying new things. Here they are investigating one of the closets.

Rice cooker!

Since their rice cooker in Sweden was for another voltage, they had to buy a new one. It arrived yesterday and Pinga is happy to unpack it.

In the morning

I guess kids were still a bit jetlagged. Coco-chan walked up around five then he falls asleep again and gets up at seven. QP-chan wakes up by eight two which is way too early for her. Momo-chan is up around seven two. So here's they are all together in the morning. It happens often Momo-chan is defending QP-chan against Coco-chan. 

Mmm tasty

Here's Momo-chan trying green tea softcream. It was tough deciding between green tea or vanilla but he was happy with green tea flavor at the end.

Very close from where they live at the moment, there is a Japanese food store. There you can buy Japanese sweet too. Today Momo-chan tried green tea soft ice cream. 

After lunch

Twins were playing happily like this after lunch. Then they got tired and unhappy so they were taken out for a walk around two thirty. 

Dinner with view

As they live on the 27th floor at the moment, they have this great view of Downtown Vancouver. Momo-chan doesn't like this skyscraper view much and asked where are more low buildings. 

They went to see four housings today and Momo-chan liked the one in North Vancouver. The owner was very nice and have them green tea chocolate and seaweed snack. 

Should I empty this?

After the washing machine is dish washer. Coco-chan tried to take things out from it. 

How can I start this?

Coco-chan is all over the condo and checking things out. Here he is very curious about all the buttons on washing machine. 

Back to downtown

They went to two house showings this afternoon. One of them looked good but it is not as spacious as they wish but the location is great. Close to mall and Sky train station.

Bloedel conservatory

Bloedel Floral Conservatory is a conservatory and aviary located at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park. Momo-chan wanted to check it out. It's tropic inside with many birds and plants. Here's Momo-chan with white parrot. Pinga was thinking of her friend who loves plants and animals in Lund.

Clear sky

Momo-chan was happy as he had his first puyo puyo, tapioca milk tea, this afternoon. It was rainy this morning but cleared up nicely this afternoon. 

On Robson St.

Their temporary apartment is quite centrally located in downtown and it is close to the Robson street as well. Robson Street is one of the major touristic streets. Momo-chan liked this model standing at the store front of a kitchen goods shop. 

At Ikea

Pinga fell asleep without blogging last night but they went to two different Ikea stores yesterday. Purpose of the visit was to buy highchairs for twins but the first store had legs and trays for the highchairs but not the seats. Very strange as they don't sell them parts but the whole thing. So they had to drive from Richmond store to Colloquium to buy them. Momo-chan enjoyed the play area and meatballs. Twins liked the mashed potatoes. 

Woke up happy

Here's QP-chan woke up after about eight hours of sleep. She woke up quietly and smiled. Coco-chan slept not as good as QP-chan but quite well. 

Good morning Vancouver

After arriving at Vancouver Airport close to midnight, they picked up luggage, rented a car and drove to their apartment. Momo-chan went to bed as soon as they arrived at their apartment and slept well until 7am. Others went to bed around 4am. Twins finally woke up around 8am.

Two and a half hours delay

Just after eating at the restaurant, they found out the flight to Vancouver was delayed for 2.5 hours. So they have to stay at Heathrow for almost six hours. 

Momo-chan said hi to Harrods bear. 

Early dinner at Heathrow

Here's Momo-chan and Coco-chan discussing what to order. Momo-chan gad fish and chips kids version. Twins tried French fries for the first time. 

In the car

They both were focused on their warm socks. QP-chan wanted to take them off. Coco-chan took off wool balls from them. 

Off to the airport

They left Lund for Copenhagen Airport at 10:30. It was raining a bit but Al the kids were happy like this. As they had four suitcases, they took a taxi. 

Baby play atea

While Momo-chan played at kids zone, twins were at the baby area. It looks like QP-chan has started to stand up but it was Pinga who placed her like this. She stayed in this position for a few minutes while Coco-chan moved around.

They finally boarded their flight to Vancouver at 9pm Swedish time but it took a long time until it took off as there was a queue on the runway.

Visiting friends

Their friends asked if they could come by just to say hello so they did. Momo-chan and he had been friends since they were babies. They will miss these girls friends in Sweden. 

Last day in Lund

Their last day in Lund was a sunny one. Can you see the people in the background sunbathing? Pinga was wondering if she'll see people sunbathing like this in Vancouver.

Sign of spring

While Pingu deals with movers Pinga took care of twins. While they took a walk with their friend, they saw these flowers. Spring is approaching to Lund. 

Pancake dinner

They were invited to Momo-chan's favorite friend's place for pancakes. There were muffins too! 

Movers are here!

To Pingu's surprise, movers came at 7:15 when he was eating breakfast. They were supposed to come at 8:30. So they started with outside storage and then inside the house. Coco-chan was very curious and called around to check things out. QP-chan was observing too.
